The day was hot, and the first years were given an errand by the second years. Currently, they're in the hall where a lot of vending machines installed. Coincidentally, that day was also the day of Kyoto Jujutsu Tech to visit. It was supposed to be only their principal but turned out that two of their students came. Fushiguro and Kugisaki looked at the new presence before them. A big build body male and a woman who just look like Maki but short haired was staring at them, more like glaring at them.

"What are you doing here, Zenin-senpai?" Fushiguro asked, unamused.

"Oh, she's one, too?" Kugisaki asked. "They do seem similar. Are they sisters?" Fushiguro told her that she was Maki's twin, and it seemed the girl dislike how Fushiguro introduced her.

"Don't call me that, Fushiguro-kun," she said flirty. "You make me sound the same as Maki. Call me Mai."

"So these are the pinch hitters for Okkotsu and the third years?" the big guy asked, his glare didn't falter.

"We came here with the principal because we were worried about you. Your classmate died, right? Was that rough? Or did you think nothing of it?" her question was obviously a trap since from the first time, she wanted to get on their nerves.

"What are you trying to say?" Fushiguro asked wary.

"It's okay. Some things are hard to say out loud. So I'll say it for you. 'Vessel' makes it sound nice, but it just means he was a half-curse monster. Having a tainted, inhuman being beside you brazenly calling himself a jujutsu sorcerer must have been revolting, right? Aren't you feeling better now that he's dead?" she provoked.

"Mai, don't bring up such pointless topic," Todou said while walking towards them and took off his jacket. "I'm only here to see if these guys are fit to take Okkotsu's place. That's all I want to know." This alarmed Fushiguro. "Fushiguro, was it? What kind of woman is your type?"

Apparently, Y/N just came back from the school library after borrowing some book related to Seika. There wasn't too much info about her, so she borrowed the most promising one. The scorching sun really increased her intention on going back to her room, but it was delayed. Her attention went to the four students under the corridor. Of course from her perspective, the big guy was just trying to pick up a fight. Until this time, she didn't realize who the big guy was since the shade keeping his identity seen.

"Who's that?" she tilted her head, mumbling by herself. She knew the two person before them as they're Fushiguro and Kugisaki. She wanted to go closer to get a good look, but then the big guy rushed towards Fushiguro and threw him off a few meters behind. She only hummed, the only person who could have that immense power was only Todou and her hunch was right. Once he got out of the shade, she sighed. Might as well see how this will go.

It's not like she accepted the way Todou handled the first year, but it might be interesting once in a while. If Fushiguro wanted to participate in the Goodwill Event, then this might be a good preview on how strong Todou was.

Fushiguro then summon his frogs infused with Nue's wing while Todo only took a single dash to reach his blindspot. His hand wrapped around Fushiguro's waist and threw him over his head. He was spouting something but they're too far for her to see. She winced when his head smashed to the ground, resulting his head has some serious damage. Of course, Todou didn't gave him any rest and kept on attacking the raven-haired boy until he was cornered. Todou them grabbed his head and pushed him through the building she was in.

She sighed, this has gotten too far. The two plunged into the air creating some debris from the wood. Todou was about to punch him again, but Fushiguro's frog caught his hand with their tongue. Of course, Todou could broke it easily.

"I barely feel any intention to fight," he said while breaking off the tongue.

"I've been holding back, and you're so proud?" Fushiguro groaned while trying to get up. "If you're going to insist like that, then I'll show you." To be honest, she felt a chill down her spine when she saw his expression. Todo also felt the same, but it only triggered him more.

"Bring it!" Todou smirked.

"Don't move," Inumaki spoke making Todou stopped suddenly.

"What are you two doing?!" Panda jumped and pulled out a punch on Todou but it didn't do much damage to him. "Whew, just barely safe."

"Bonito flakes," Inumaki closed the cloth on his mouth. Just then, a thin cursed thread emerged from the floor and captured Todou's wrist making him unable to move further. Of course, he struggled hard, but it was all futile. The boys were surprised when they saw her came out from the shade.

"Oh?! Y/N!" Panda called, making Todou turned his head.

"Akiba?" Fushiguro mumbled, surprised seeing her. It was the first time in week that he saw her. She sighed and walked closer to the big boy.

"You make so much commotion and destroyed our property. How are you going to make it all up, Todou-senpai?" she looked at him coldly. "Try to struggle hard and you'll lose a hand."

"Long time no see, Panda and Akiba," he smirked.

"Why can't you just wait until the exchange event?" Panda asked. "Go on home, or I'll start screaming, 'No!'."

"You don't have to tell me to go home," Todou told him and looked at her. "If you please let me go, I'll go home." She sighed and let him go, making the thread came back to where they come from. "Where'd I put my jacket? Looks like I won't be bored the whole time. Give Okkotsu a message for me: 'You take part, too'."

"I panda. I no understand human speech," he apologized.

"Salmon," Inumaki spoke unfazed.

"You take part in the event too!" he pointed at her. "You weren't able to demonstrate your technique back then, but it seems you have interesting technique."

"Sorry, I'll skip this year," she sighed. Todou just ignored all the Tokyo students remark and went ahead to search for his jacket. Fushiguro stood up and look at her who made a conversation with Panda and Inumaki. Her attention then moved to the wounded boy and came closer, while the two second years went ahead of them.

"You okay?" she asked, gave her hand out to help him stand. It was a pointless question, to be honest as she saw blood dripping from his face. "You should probably go to Ieiri-san for that."

"I think I'll do that," he mumbled and accepted her hand gladly. His eyes travelled down to the books. "What's that?" Her eyes want towards the direction his finger pointed.

"Oh, books about Seika," she shrugged, and he nodded. She scrunched her face when another blood dripped from his head. "Do you want to go to Ieiri-san? That looks really hurt, you know."

"Are you not busy?" he asked, and the girl shook her head. "Even if I did, I'm worried about you." His body slowly started to feel warm from the word 'worried' came out of her mouth. He looked away and pursed his lips tightly, to prevent himself from smiling ridiculously. "Let's go."

"I'm sorry to trouble you," he mumbled.

"That's okay."

His wound not that bad but he did get bandaged a few times. Ieiri suggested him to take a break from training for a few days for his wound to be healed. After having a good rest just like Ieiri told him to, he hurriedly went to take a shower. His stomach grumbled heavily which he took the chance to grab a light meal in the cafeteria. Finishing his meal quickly, he leaned back his head slightly to think what he should do now. There's no way he's going back to sleep. His mind travelled to her, wondering what she up to now. Collecting his courage, he went towards her room.

Is she on the telephone? He thought to himself as he heard a muffled voice coming from inside.

So he tried to stay still and listened in. It's rude, but he was curious.

"The mission is in the morning so tomorrow's fine," she said. "Yes. Yes. Okay." After he confirmed that she's no longer speaking, he knocked a few times. He could hear rustling sounds came from inside before the door swung open, revealing her with her white hoodie.

"Oh? What's wrong?" she asked.

"Um, I thought you might need some help for the research about Seika," he excused, patting himself in the head for his smooth lies.

"Come in," she stepped aside for him to enter. Even though he's been there a few times, but today seemed to be more nerve-wrecking than before. He stepped inside and saw pile of books on the floor with some papers.

"There's so many book here," he muttered, kneeling and looking through one of the books.

"Yup. Fortunately," she said after closing the door. "Have you eaten yet?" The boy nodded in silence while his eyes scanned the words printed on the book. The girl smiled faintly and went to her previous position.

"Have you gotten any clue about her?" he asked, already making himself comfortable by leaning his back to her wardrobe. She nodded and gave a picture to him. "What is this?"

"Seika has this earring dangling on her ear with what turns out to be Minamoto Clan crest. I want to look for this earring," she explained.

"Why do you want to search for this? I thought you just only want to know about her?" he asked back. She went silent. If she said that Sukuna told her about it, obviously he'll be surprised since Sukuna and Itadori were one. She bit her lower lip and looked away.

"Um, someone told me that Seika is my ancestor and the way she appeared in my dream because turn out I inherited the title. It was a curse to keep her alive," she looked at him who's been staring at her. "He told me to search for the earring to activate her power since now I have a responsibility to do. That's why I want to know about its location." The boy didn't speak or make any noise while listening to her. She was scared that he'll ask her about this person.

"I see," he hummed, eyes darted to the books on the floor. "Then, I'll help you. Two head is better than one, isn't it?" She smiled at him before nodded. The whole night they spend for researching. But it seemed his body was already tired from training, so he fell asleep at 10 while she still continued on researching about it. She looked at the boy and smiled softly before taking a blanket to put over him.

"Sleep tight, Fushiguro and I'm sorry."
