"Hey babe, before I forget, what do you want for your birthday?," I ask Sky as I look up to face her since I'm kind of smushed to her chest with her arms wrapped around me and my arms wrapped around her hips.
"You," Sky replies and I grab a pillow and throw it at her as she laughs.
"Um, let me see, I want nothing. I already have all that I want," Sky says as she goes to dip her head into a kiss and I welcome her with my lips and a blush on my cheeks even though she didn't give me a real answer.
"Fine, since you are not going to tell me what you want, I will just have to keep it a surprise," I say as I sit up from my bed.
"Where are you going?," Sky grabs me and pulls me back onto the bed.
"I need to eat babe," I say as I go to kiss her cheek and sit back up. I decide to change my clothes now since the ones I have on are from last night. I walk to my drawers and pull out two pairs of sweats and two grey shirts and will give a pair of sweats and one of the shirts to Sky.
"Here. You are still in your clothes from last night. You can borrow my clothes," I throw the clothes at Sky.
"These smell like you. I like your scent. I don't know why but you smell like shea butter and like citrus fruits," Sky says while putting on my shirt.
"Hmm, good to know," I giggle as I turn around so my side is facing Sky while I look in the mirror and proceed to take off my black dress. I forget that I am only standing in my underwear since I couldn't wear a bra last night since that was how the dress was made. I can feel Sky's eyes burning into me as I bend down to get my shirt and sweats. As I put on my shirt and sweats, I turn to Sky and stick my tongue out.
"Perv," I giggle as I go to put my dress in the laundry basket. All of a sudden, I'm pushed up against a wall and Sky places light kisses all over my neck making me moan lightly.
"I can't help it if my mate is moving around her room in only a little piece of underwear that visibly shows her beautiful ass," Sky says as she continues placing kisses all over my neck.
"Babe, I need breakfast," I remind her and I can feel her pout as I pull away and move downstairs and I roll my eyes and giggle at her reaction.
"Oh, you're so overdramatic," I laugh as we turn to look at the living room. Since we stayed up late and it is only 9:00, I'm not surprised to see that everyone else is asleep.
"C'mon, let's leave them to rest," I turn to Sky who is kicking Jason awake.
"Sky!!!," I whisper-shout.
"What? I'm just reminding him who's the older sibling since he stole my textbook the other day. This will leave a little bruise but he's a deep sleeper," Sky smirks and I glare at her.
"He won't even wake up. See?," Sky says as she kicks him again but she was right since he was still sound asleep. I roll my eyes and head downstairs.
I'm too tired for that nonsense.
I hear Sky following my footsteps quickly as I land downstairs and make my way to the kitchen.
"Buenos días Mamá," I say as I enter the kitchen and see my mom reading the newspaper on her Ipad and sipping her coffee.
"Morning sweetheart. Morning Sky," She smiles at both of us as Sky follows in behind me.
"Good morning Alika, may I have some of that coffee?," Sky asks as she points towards the coffee maker.
"Of course sweetie. Help yourself," She smiles back at Sky who goes to grab a coffee cup.
"You want some babe?," I hear Sky ask.
"Yes please. Do you want some Müsli with yogurt? I have leftovers," I ask Sky.
"Yes please," Sky replies and I grab some yogurt out and put some into two bowls, then mix the müsli in with it. I go to place the two bowls on two seats on the table and Sky motions over to put two coffee cups with it.
"Thanks," I say as she kisses me on the forehead. I turn to look at my mom and she just rolls her eyes and smirks like she knows something.
"So mamá, any good news in the paper?," I ask her as she goes to put two pieces of toast in the toaster.
"Oh, the usual. Government this, government that, covid, weather, and how do you say??... oh right, Op-Ed's of some books and holiday things," she says as grabs some cream cheese from the fridge.
Sky and I start eating our food and by 9:30 Kole, Jay and Blake walk down the stairs together. And about ten minutes later Jason and Mika come down the stairs looking completely drained. Kole rushes over and kisses Jason good morning which he groggily responds to.
"Okay guys, we have eggs, bacon, toast, müsli, ham, and maybe pancake mix. Jay will help you guys with everything around the kitchen. I have to go run some errands," my mother says once everyone is downstairs and woken up enough to hear her.
"Babe, I got a call from my mother. Kole and I have to go home for some business," Sky turns to look at me after my mother leaves the room.
"Wait, what?," I ask, a little disappointed.
"I know it sucks. But I got the message half an hour ago. And we have to go. I'll make it up to you, I promise," Sky smirks as she kisses me.
She better make it up to me.
"I don't have to go Sky?" Mika asks, yawning.
"Nah, it's for the alpha ceremony and about invitations and pack communication. But I think my father gave you the assignment of making the whole celebration along with my mother," Sky replies.
"Yeah, I get to design your dress, or suit, or mix of the two," Mika smirks and winks at me. Oh her dirty mind.
"Oh god. Well, that sounds like so much fun. Kole, you ready?" Sky asks as she looks over to Kol whose face is in Jason's as he hugs him from behind.
"Hmmmmmmm, yeah," Kol groans as he kisses Jason and whispers something into his ear.
"I love you babe and I promise I will make it up to you," I hear Sky says as she kisses me and hugs me before dragging Kole outside.
"So what's müsli?" Mika asks as she grabs the jar labeled Müsli. I hear Jay chuckle lightly as goes to grab some eggs and bacon.
"It's like what you call "granola" but it's a little different with more things and kind of made differently. You can put it with yogurt and it is really delicious. Are you guys okay with eggs and bacon, with some müsli and yogurt if you want?" I ask the gang. There seems to be a unanimous yes among everyone so Jay starts with the eggs and I start making the bacon while Blake grabs bowls and yogurt for the müsli. Once all the food is made, I only grab some bacon since I'm not as hungry any more.
"So do you guys want to get started on the movie?" I ask the gang as we all finish breakfast. "Reminder that it is in Spanish," I add and I hear Blake groan as I laugh. We laugh as we head up the stairs to the living room and I grab the remote for the tv. I turn on Netflix and hit play for the movie as Mika sits on Jay's lap on the couch, Blake is next to them, I'm next to Blake and Jason's laying on the floor.
"Can you turn it up? Every word comes into one ear and exits the other," Blake asks and Mika giggles. I roll my eyes as I turn the volume up a little more so he can try and understand. I totally understand him and know how hard it is with three other languages in his head so I will probably do a lot of the writing while he can memorize a lot and do more presenting.
"This movie isn't that bad," I hear Jason say below us.
"Well, it's a, I would say a tween/teen movie because there are curses and some violence but I could see a thirteen year old watching this," I add.
"Yeah, I could see myself watching this at 12," Jason laughs as his eyes stay on the movie.
"You have to admit, it is a pretty good movie right? Right?," I nudge Blake and he rolls his eyes and mutters a "yes". "Still historical but has fantasy in it. Even if it's a bad fantasy," I add while laughing and I could hear Blake chuckling as well.
"Oh my god, I totally understand the ending now. So she "dies" but her soul actually goes to whatever kingdom she is from and she rules right?," Blake asks as the movie finally rolls its credits.
"Yeah, so in the beginning, I swear when Jay and I were younger and we would watch this and the beginning would confuse me so much because the blood was going back into her and I was like what? but then I actually realized it later hahaha," I reply to him.
"I liked it. It was like, I think it reminds me of how stupid human kids are because I think as a wolf, we are born with pretty good instincts, but this kid eats food when she's not supposed to and I'm like, how are you that stupid?" Jason asks rhetorically and I can't help but laugh.
"That's so true," I say, laughing harder. "Babies and young children, I would even argue some teenagers, have no sense of self-preservation and awareness," I add as everyone laughs harder.
"Yeah exactly. At least we only act stupid when we're drunk," Mika giggles as the "we" was meant to mean Jason and her as werewolves.
"Oh, I need to breathe," I say, trying to catch a breath after laughing so hard. I see Jay nod his head in agreement. We cleaned up the living room and packed up all the snacks and clothes from last night and I let Mika borrow jeans and a shirt to head home in since she seemed uncomfortable sleeping in her dress last night.
As we finish everything, I see it's already 13:00 so Mika, Jason, and Blake head home for lunch while Jay and I decide on some quick homemade sandwiches. As Jay and I finish our sandwiches with some chips on the side, my phone buzzes.

My heart quickens and beats louder as I read her text and starts to pound with excitement on what will happen tonight.
