December 3rd
It was another usual morning. Taeyong was making his way to work from a near bus stop. But then a car stopped right next to him.
The window rolled down and Taeyong saw Doyoung inside, smiling.
"hey, get in. it's cold" the younger said
Taeyong was quick to make his way around the car and to the front seat. Just when he got inside he got a better look of Doyoung. The younger looked incredibly handsome.
His hair was styled and he was definitely wearing a bit of makeup. He had on a collar shirt and the few top buttons were opened, showing a glimpse of his collarbones.
Taeyong gulped and Doyoung let out a chuckle "why are you looking at me like that?"
"it's uh, you just look great today. that's all"
"thanks" Doyoung said, grinning
Throughout the short drive Taeyong couldn't help but stare at Doyoung. He looked so.. beautiful. The older felt weird, kind of nervous.
They finally arrived to the cafe and after about ten minutes they were already making the first order.
After Doyoung was done with making an americano, he excused himself and went to the bathroom. He almost screamed out loud because he felt so weird and excited. He decided to text Johnny.
Doyoung:

I THINK ITS WORKING
Johnny:
WAIT REALLY

TELL ME EVERYTHING
Doyoung:

TAEYONG KEEPS STARING AT ME AND HE SEEMS KINDA NERVOUS
ALSO HE COMPLIMENTED ME EARLIER

Doyoung:

Johnny:

Doyoung:
OK ANYWAYS I GTG OR ELSE HELL GET SUSPICIOUS
Johnny:
YES GO GET UR MAN
Doyoung smiled before putting his phone back into his back pocket and exiting the bathroom.
A few hours passed and it was lunchtime. Doyoung and Taeyong were both eating in the backroom in total silence.
"hey, um, are you free tonight?" Taeyong asked suddenly
Doyoung shook his head "i'm going on a date"
Taeyong almost choked on his coffee and coughed a few times before answering again "with who?"
"why do you care? but i'm going with Jungwoo"
"and he is?"
Doyoung raised an eyebrow "why are you so interested in who i'm going on a date with?"
"just tell me, i wanna know if his dick is bigger than mine"
"you're such a pervert" Doyoung rolled his eyes "anyways, he's a guy i met on tinder but we also used to go to the same dance classes together some years ago"
"hm, cool" Taeyong mumbled "do you like him?"
"Taeyong, why do you care so much? don't you have your own girlfriend?"
"not right now, she's aboard with her family for some time" Taeyong shrugged and the younger gulped
"okay but i still don't get why you're so interested in my dating life"
"why can't i be interested in my friend's dating life? i care about you, that's why. and i don't want you to meet up with some creepy guy you met on tinder and have sex with him or something"
Doyoung just stared at him with a blank expression and Taeyong cleared his throat.
"we-we should probably go?" Doyoung said after a while and the older just nodded before quickly getting up
A few more hours later and their shifts were over. Doyoung was packing his stuff in the backroom when he heard the door open. He turned around and saw Taeyong.
"oh, did you forget something?" Doyoung asked as the older just stood there awkwardly
"i-i was wondering if you could drive me home. i kinda missed my bus and it's really cold outside and i just-"
"okay" the younger cut him off "sure, i'll drop you off. i'm gonna go that direction anyways"
"wait, you don't live there?"
Doyoung sighed "no, but i'm still going on that date, remember? Jungwoo's taking me to a nice restaurant that's pretty near your house"
"oh.."
The car ride was pretty awkward and silent. Taeyong just thanked Doyoung before leaving the car and the younger sped off.
After he was sure Taeyong wasn't outside anymore, he turned the car and made his way to his and Johnny's apartment.
Doyoung got inside and was greeted by his tall best friend who immediately rushed out of the bathroom, a wide grin on his face.
"so? did it work?"
Doyoung chuckled as he took off his jacket "i think so, he seemed a little jelly"
Johnny squealed and they both started laughing.
"this is so mean" Doyoung said and rubbed his face with his hand
"he's mean for leading you on but then being a jerk. listen, babe, Taeyong deserves this" Johnny said and patted the younger's shoulder
"i guess you're right" he sighed "but let's eat now, i'm hungry even though i went to a fancy restaurant with Jungwoo"
11pm
Doyoung was laying on the couch, watching some random TV series when his phone screen lit up. A smirk spread on his face when he saw it was from Taeyong.
Taeyong:
Hey
Are u asleep?
Doyoung:
Nope
You need anything?
Taeyong:
Not rlly
How was the date?
Doyoung:
It was nice :)
I actually just got home
Taeyong:
You were out so late?
Doyoung:
Yea at Jungwoo's place
Taeyong:

Doyoung:

Taeyong sighed as he put his phone down. His stomach felt weird as he thought about Doyoung going on a date with someone else. It just made him feel.. jealous. And maybe a bit possessive. Just a little.
