Day after day, week after week, month after month, all he felt was pain. Never ending pain, sometimes it was physical, sometimes mental, it didn't matter all poor Tanjiro felt was Pain.
Discontinued on but who knows how long and every time Muzan would hurt him he would always make sure that Tanjiro heard the words of his friends screaming in his ears it got so bad to the point where he thought his friends were the ones torturing him
It only got worse. He would mentally break Tanjiro down. Transforming, and brainwashing his mind, by the time all of this was over his eyes were dead red with a tiny hints of Gray starting to form, he was bloody and he had no emotion in either his voice or his movements… he didn't even smile anymore
More time passed and while all this torture was happening his friends were trying to find him while also fighting the demons
They all promised him that they will protect the last thing he held dear… his sister.
However this didn't stop them from blaming themselves, falling into deep depressions, anger, and hatred that they would take out on the demons around them, Blaming themselves for the poor boys kidnapping
While Tanjiro was healing physically emotionally and mentally he was still broken. His body looks like there wasn't even a scratch and that was because of the demons special power, but on the inside tundra could feel all the pain and that's all he ever could feel… just pain and emptiness
"Puppy where are you~" Muzan called out suddenly a boy with sun-based earrings and long hair a scar on his forehead walked up to him barely standing and shaking the whole time
"Y-yes Mas-ter" he said broken beyond repair this just let the demons smile as his plan finally fell into action
Nezuko Pov
Finally after so long we were able to get clues on where my brother was and thankfully we were able to find the man who took him from me
"Hello demon slayers it's quite funny running into you here" he said toy with us
"Oh cut the bullshit Muzan, where is Tanjiro" we all screamed in anger
He didn't even flinch all he did was stuck to the side revealing to us a boy with long red hair and a face kind of weird looking, but I recognize those earrings and that scar anywhere
"Onii-Chan" I called out to him, he just looked up at us with gray dead eyes he wasn't even smiling he didn't move he just stood there by the horrible man's side
"What did you do to him" Kanao screamed worried
"Not much I just showed him who's boss but where my manners, go on now your friends are waiting for you" he said removing the chain wrapped around what looks to be a collar.
My big brother slowly walk towards us and I could tell just by his scent that he was in pain, by the time he made it three quarters towards us he fainted but his eyes were still wide open.
We all went to him some of us grabbing him while the others tried to protect us
"Tanjiro can you hear me it's us Zenitsu, and Inosuke come on" the two boys screamed I noticed my brother had flinched at that name
"Tanjiro Nii-chan please wake up come back to us" Senjuro and Genya screened once again he flinched at his own name
"That's quite enough you're scaring my pet come back to me puppy" Muzan's voice made us all freeze and absolute silence
As if right on cue my brother got up and slowly walked back to that monster I realized thanks to my demon senses but was really going on
"So that's what you did you broke him brainwashed him" I cream and absolute anger everyone froze and shock and disbelief
"But it doesn't matter no matter what I promise I'd save him and… THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'M GOING TO DO" I cream and absolute fury
In a state of desperation I grabbed my brother's hand as he continued to walk forward and called out my blood demon art
"Blood demon art: Exploding blood wall" suddenly red fire surrounded me and my brother and only us there are some things I wanted to say
"Onii-Chan… can you hear me, please wake up! You promise you turn it back into a human, you promise to stay by my side. I promise I protect you and… I failed… Come back to me my precious Big brother…Tanjiro" I said holding on to my brother
He was on his knees staring into my eyes he didn't say anything to me I started to cry, I put his hand on my head and wrapped his other arm around me to at least feel like my big brother was there that's my tears fell on his shirt felt the ruffling of something
*Something's rubbing my head* at least that's what I thought but then I immediately thought it was just my imagination until
"Ne…zu…ko" I hear a slurred version of my name being called. I look up to see my brother, still staring at the wall of fire around us, but yet for some reason tears were flooding his eyes. He was shaking… he was crying.
"Yes yes that's me please come back to me… I love you big brother" as I say this I kiss his forehead right where his scar is at and start crying once again hugging his head
But then suddenly he start to Glow, I let go of him and he started screaming. I couldn't make out what he was saying, all I know is that he was fighting whatever poison that monster put in his head. It was so loud it hurt my ears, and the wall of flames nearly disintegrated from just the scream alone.
Then the glowing suddenly faded away and he fainted I grabbed him keeping him from falling on the ground I see his eyes slowly return to their bright red I begin to cry thankful that my brother slowly is coming back
I then felt a hand shaking on my cheek and look up to see my brother trying to caress my cheek like he used to to call me down as he said slowly
"I… love you too… my precious… little sister… Nezuko" as he said that I cried so loud hugging him screaming tears of joy that my brother is finally returned as the flames died down I couldn't stop crying I shrunk down into his lap as set still on his knees with his eyes closed.
I suddenly felt arms wrap around my waist I slowly look up to see my brother opening his eyes I couldn't make out what they looked like since mine were so watery but I can tell those were my brothers eyes
Unfortunately once the flames all diminished I look around and see my friends all on the ground bloodied and poisoned
I had a tough decision to make save my friends or save my brother, but then I realized
"I want both!"
While holding on to my brother, I ripped my own arm off and splattered the blood of it onto everyone then I touch the ground where the blood had reached from the ground to their bodies and burned it all healing them from a long distance while also still holding on to the brother I desperately wanted to save
"You really are an annoyance you know that" a dark voice said from behind me
I look only to see that monster he still standing there but before he can attack the sun started to rise realizing this he tried reaching for my brother only for something to stab his hand
"I told you this once and I'll say it again nobody is laying a hand on my baby brother" I recognize that voice
"Sabito" I stay and excitement only to then see that he's still unconscious and was using shinobu's sword in order to inject poison into him it definitely did the trick as he recoiled in pain
All the others got up still unconscious but ready to fight to the very end realizing he had no other choice he retreated and that's when they all woke up realizing what they had done
"Did I really just use your sword dang it packs a punch for something so small" Sabito jokes as he tossed shinobu's sword back to her
We all started laughing as I crawled back into the box and they grab my brother, and carried him back to the butterfly mansion he still hadn't regained consciousness
2 months later started to wake up I was the only one there at the time but what I saw horrified me
"G-Good Morning" my brother's first words as his eyes finally opened
