I pouted when I saw Trouble eating ice creams
without me. It's already summer and the temperature is rising. Even the
"It's really hot today and I feel like someone is giving death glares" I didn't answer and focused my attention on the book I'm currently reading.
"Why won't you talk to me?"
"I have nothing to talk to you," I said. "Really" I cursed when I felt something cold touched a part of my neck. He laughed so hard because of that.
"Trouble!" I shouted and he immediately yield like a puppy "I'm sorry! Here, I brought you a popsicle"
"So, you think that I'm easy to get? You think you can get me with just a popsicle?"
"Popsicle with a kiss, is that alright?" I stopped to think for a second "Yeah why not?" He gaved me a kiss before finally handing me the popsicle.
"When are we going for vacation? I really need one" Pinunasan nya ang noo ko gamit ang panyong dala-dala nya. "Malapit na, we will just wait for your parents to come back from the US. About two weeks kaya konting tiis nalang"
"Why do we need to wait for them? The heat is killing me, also, I want a vacation with only two of us so I could spend more time with you" He chuckled. "We can just spend summer with your parents then just th both of us"
"So where should we go? Paris? Denmark? Hawaii?"
"What? That's too far besides I really want to take you to my yaya's hometown in Cebu. I want you to meet her. She's like a mother to me, so technically it's like your meeting my family" I gulped, meeting his family? What if they wont like me?
"Why are you pale?" Trouble asked "I don't know, I'm nervous"
"Pft! What? My lola is much more intimidating than them yet you handled it well. You'll be fine"
"You really think so?" He nodded. That nanny was the one who valued Trouble the most, I need them to like me for Trouble.
"Ohh, I see determination"
"Of course, they treat you well so I must get their permission" He tsk-ed and kissed the tip of my ears "It doesn't really matter if they don't approve. I'm yours already"
"But still—" He cut me off with a kiss "Stop thinking about it"
"Go away, it's hot in here"
"Then let's take a shower" He grabbed me but I stopped him "No, It's my third time already" He just pouted and went to the kitchen without a word.
I smiled secretely "How cute"

"Attkinson bilis!" Keisler commanded me. I rolled my eyes on him "Excuse me? Ikaw kaya magdala ng maleta?"
"Oh—chill basta bilis bilisan mo yang lakad mo" I snapped at him and dropped his bag "Ikaw na mag dala ng sayo" Inis kong sabi.
"Joke lang hehe" I faked a smile and rolled my eyes once again. It's our summer trip but here I am, dealing with this guy right here.
"I should've went with Trouble. I shouldn't have agreed to pick you up. If only he didn't used his puppy eyes on me, I wouldn't be here!"
"Stop complaining and let's go!" Pabagsak kong isinara ang pinto ng sasakyan at nag drive papunta sa beach house na sinasabi ni Dad.
Throughout the ride, Keisler didn't do anything but sing. He's singing songs from the jeje era.
"It really hurts ang magmahal ng ganito!" Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at sinubukang i-iwas ang pansin sakanya. Tangina naman oh.
Minutes later, we arrived, thank god.
"Trouble!" I shouted when I saw him grilling barbecues. Also looking sexy at his beach terno outfit. He kissed me on the cheek and continued cooking "Put tour bags over there" He said.
There wasn't any guest in the beach house only us, dad and papa so as Claire, Philipp, Angie and Keisler.
"You rented the whole place?" I ask papa whose busy putting sunblock on dad's back "Yes, your dad asked for it"
"It's better don't you think?"
"Dad you're wasting money"
"I'm not! Look Angelo, summer only happens once in a year. No school, no homeworks, no stress and a two month vacation. Minsan lang 'to so you should enjoy it." I sighed. I could never win against him.
"Okay fine" I gaved up and went to Trouble. "Do you want to go for a swim?" I asked him.
"Yeah sure"
"You're not afraid?"
"Nope, your here so there's nothing to be afraid of" I smiled and pulled him and we both ran towards the sea. I kissed him as soon as we both dived in.
"The water is refreshing"
"There's a small cliff over there, let's go!"
"No, not again"
"I thought you're not afraid 'cause I'm here? Did you just sugarcoat me?" I looked at him, crossed arms. "What? No, l-lets go" I tried so hard to resist laughing. He's so cute when he's pressured.
We reached the cliff and I didn't think he would really jump, just like the last time. He hugged me and we fell together.
"Fuck! What were you thinking?!" I shouted "I thought you wanted to jump?"
"But not like that! You didn't warn me— uhm!" He kissed me "But admit it, it felt good right?"
"Are you fucking kidding me?"
"No, I felt like freedom with the person I love" I gulped when he said that in a serious tone. I just don't know what to say.
"Damn, you make me go crazy"

After two to three days we both left even if the trip hasn't ended yet.
"Are you feeling okay?" I asked Trouble when I saw him feeling uneasy. "I'm fine" I saw him with a bottle of white flower.
What a coincidence.
I smiled when I felt the small bottle of white flower on my pocket "Why are you smiling out of no where?"
"Nothing" One hour passed by and we both arrived in his yaya's hometown in an isolated island.
"The breeze feels good in the skin. I don't even feel any heat"
"I know right, I only came here once and I forgot the feeling" I stared at his face when a bunch of crowd appeared.
"Naku! Eto na ata ang alaga ko." A lady came to us and hugged Trouble "Magandang hapon nay Issa"
"Magandang hapon rin sayo anak. Aba'y ang akala ko ay dadating kang mag isa, sino ba tong kasama mo?"
"Si Rafael po—"
"Ah hijo, ikaw pala si Rafael? Madalas kang kinukwento ni Trouble sakin, halika't kumain muna kayong dalawa.
"Po? Ano po ang kinukwento nya tungkol sakin?" Trouble looked away when his fave turned red.
"Ang sabi nya sakin ang gwapo mo daw at mabait pa—"
"Nay, masarap yung pagkain tara kumain muna tayo. Asan nga pala si tay Carlo?" Palihim akong natawa sa pag iiba nya ng usapan "Pumapalaot sya ng ganitong oras. Pagdating nya ay saktong tanghalian na kaya masarap ang pagkain, bagong huli kasi"
"Ah ganun ba? Sige kumain na muna tayo. Rachelle! Brix!" May kung sinong tinawag si Trouble at agad naman na tumakbo ang dalawang babae papunta sakanya.
"Kuya!"
"Kuya sya ba si Kuya Rafael? Yung palaging kinukwento mo" Tumikhim muna si Trouble bago tumango "Oo tara na, kumain na tayo" Sabi nya at tumabi sakin ng walang imik.
Binati ko muna ang dalawa bago tuluyang maupo. "Kuya ano to?"
"Konting pasalubong lang mula sa Manila" Sagot ko at iniabot sakanila ang Gucci na bag matapos naming kumain.
"Kuya Gucci to? Balita ko ang mahal daw nito eh?" Sabi ni Brix at pinagmasdan ang mga pinamili ko.
"Hindi naman, at isa pa, hindi ako maaring dumalaw dito ng walang dala"
"Sus, gusto mo lang hingin ang kamay ni kuya Trouble eh" Sabat naman ni Rachelle "Pwede ba?"
"Oo pasado kana" Sabay nilang sabi kaya mahina akong natawa. "Ano yang binubulong bulong nyo jan" Biglang sulpot ni Trouble sa tabi ko.
"Wala ah" Agad na sabi ko "Gusto nya raw hingin ang kamay mo" Sabay ulit na sabi ng dalawa at natawa.
Sinamaan ako ng tingin ni Trouble ngunit tumawa nalang ako. "Atleast they approved" My brows went up and down.
"Tsk ewan ko sayo. Sasama ako kay tay Carlo. Ikaw sasama karin?"
"Saan?"
"Babalik sya sa dagat mamaya, gusto kong sumama"
"Sige ako rin" The Island was quiet and everyone seemed to be in peace. It's safe to say that this is the best vacation I ever had. It wasn't as grand like the vacation I used to have but I'm happy, simply because Trouble is with me.
"Why are staring at me so weirdly?" I smiled at him without saying anything and his brows arched. "Your becoming weirder everyday"
"Yeah, a very very handsome weird" He tsk-ed at me "Would you be angry if this handsome wierd in front of you asks for a kiss?"
"Raf" Madiing sabi nya "Okay okay" Pagsuko ko pa. Ilang sandali pa ay magkasama kami nina tay Carlo na pumalaot. He said he will be catching some shellfish.
Trouble and I stayed on the boat to guard it. I played 'Way back Home' by Ysabelle "The scenery here is beautiful" I took some pictures and selfie for me to post it once we get some signals.
"Yeah, I thought you'd like it so I brought you here" He sounded a little... gloomy.
"Hey, baby what's wrong?" I cupped his face "Attkinson, it's cringe"
"You were the first one to call me that? Anyway what's wrong?"
"Nothing really, I was just thinking"
"Thinking about what?" I sat beside him. "Thinking about what will happen to us"
"But you already have a plan right? Remember you said that we would got to college together and then graduate, then will get married and adopt kids. Then at the end we'll grow old together?" He smiled "Yeah but that doesn't mean everything as planned"
"Now you're having second thoughts?"
"It's not that—"
"Good because you can't have second thoughts. No one really knows the future Trouble but I do know that no matter how hard the situation is, we will face it together"
"What a carefree thing to say"
"I don't care about the future. Focus on the present. Focus on me" He sealed my lips with a kiss as our song ends.
