That night after Uncle Will made us supper and we all sat around watching the new episode of Shark Tank, Dylan and I were still texting furiously.
You know how texting is; say everything, talk about nothing. We were finding out little things about each other, but nothing like finding out while talking face to face or just learning their habits from being around them.
Can I call you?
"You guys, he wants to call me!"
"Well do it! You can go to my room and talk."
"Yeah, you better go before he changes his mind," Uncle Will stated.
"Alright, I will," I replied and rushed to Emma's room. Yes :)
I laid down on Em's bed and and watched my phone buzz once until I answered it. "Heeeey," I gushed.
"Hey you. What are you doing?"
"Laying on Emma's bed. You?"
"Laying on mine. So what are you doing tomorrow?"
"I don't know yet. Do you have to go to work?"
"I could. Depends on your plans."
"Oh reeeeally?"
"Yes really. I wanna see you."
"So do you like me or are you just flirting because I find you attractive?" I blurted out.
"Of course I'm flirting because you think I'm attractive. But also because I thought you were really cute from the start. You probably don't believe me do you?"
"Oh I don't know. I guess," I played.
"Can I take you out for dinner tomorrow night? Somewhere nice?"
"I would love that," I squeaked. "Where at?"
"Depends. Steak, seafood, or Italian?"
"Can I decide tomorrow?"
"Sure. I'll pick you up at six. Is that ok?"
"Yeah. Are you dressing up?"
"Well, I mean all I really have that's nice are my flannels. Does that work for you?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed, thinking of how sexy his flannels look on him.
"I can't wait. Have a good night."
"Thank you, you too!"
"Goodnight, Ginny."
"Night, Dylan."
