Request is- "There are only certain individuals in the world who have a soulmate mark. On your wrist, are the first words that your soulmate will ever say to you, and the same for Raphael. After all these years the two of you finally meet, and he isn't what you expected.

From the day you were born, you always had words written on your wrist. Nobody else in your family had them, for this you were considered the blessed child in your family.
"I don't think you'll wanna see me, I'm not some night in shining armor."
Those were the words on your wrist. They confused the hell outta you and your friends. You all had jumped to conclusions for the reason of their words, making up random scenarios to try and justify it.
You were currently sixteen years old, and you were still waiting for them. Who ever they were.
Raphael was told by Splinter that the day he got mutated, was the day the words appeared on his wrist. When he learned the meaning of Soulmates, he began to grow hope.
Would he ever be aloud on the surface? Could he ever meet someone who wasn't his family.
He didn't try to make it a big deal out of it in front of his family, but he and the rest of his family wanted to meet you.
It wasn't until reality slapped in him the face and he remembered.
He wasn't normal.
"T-Thank you for saving me, can you please come out of the shadows so I can see your face?"
He wasn't a human, so then what would happen if you were?
His family reassured him that everything would
work out, but the negative thoughts were always there.

You clutched onto your phone tighter as you walked through the empty streets. You made sure to always check behind you for any weirdos, just like your mother told you to do.
Obviously, you knew how to defend yourself to some extent but still, you never knew who was actually out there.
'Ok, if I just go down this alleyway I'll be home quicker. I need to get home so I can go pee, just walk fast, (Y/N). Don't get attacked like some stupid wattpad character.' You though, picking up the pace.
You successfully made it out and you let out a sigh, "Thank god nothing happ-"
"Hey there, what are you doing out here so late?"
"Fuck." You muttered, 'I jinxed it. God damn it, (Y/N).'
You tried to walk away but instead was grabbed by a muscular guy. He shoved you back into the alley and you noticed two other guys coming near.
"Just let me go, please." You tried your best to sound confident but you were getting closer to pissing your pants.
"Not a chance, gimmie your wallet." A skinny guy spoke, whipping out a knife.
You really didn't want you, but at this point you weren't sure if you had a choice. Instead, you stupidly decided to harshly slam your foot into his stomach and send him flying.
"Grab their shit!" He wheezed out in pain, struggling to get up. The two others began to reach out to you until a trash can got thrown their way. "Back off!" Someone spoke, hidden from your sight.
"It's one of those turtle freaks! Let's get outta here!" The leader spoke, rushing off with the others. You watched as they rushed away, quickly turning to look over at the figure in the shadows.
"T-Thank you for saving me, can you please come out of the shadows so I can see your face?"
The person was quiet for a moment before he decided to respond, "I don't think you'll wanna see me, I'm not some night in shining armor."
That's when you froze, "W-Wait."
It seemed like he also understood the situation at hand.
You slowly made your way over to him, you couldn't see him but you could feel the way he tensed up. "Can you step out and show me your wrist?" You asked.
"Like I said, I don't think you'll wanna see me." His voice sounded colder than before.
"What? I'm sure you're fine, just come out so I can see your wrist!" You tried. Slowly, he extended his arm out to you, showing you the words marked into his skin. You read it then examined his arm.
"Green with three fingers?" You question, scrunching your nose in confusion. This caused him to bring his arm back into the shadows with a quick grunt.
You frown, "What's your name?" I'm (Y/N)."
"Raphael, or just Raph."
You begin to move closer to him, "Can I see the rest of you?"
It's quiet before he slowly steps out of the shadows and you gasp. 'Definitely far from what I imagined..'
"Okay, uh.." You're not sure what to say as you examine his appearance. "A turtle?"
He nods, "Yep. Surprised you haven't screamed in fear yet."
You looked into his eyes and frowned, "I'm sorry for my reaction, really."
"I'm used to it."
Raph moves over to the wall and leans on it, crossing his arms as he stares at his feet. You awkwardly shift your feet as you think of what to say next.
"Let's make this work out, soulmate."
Raphael looks over in confusion, "What?"
You move over to him, "Do you maybe have a phone?"
He nods, pulling it out and showing it. You giggle at the turtle themed phone and he growls in embarrassment, "Don't comment on it."
"I think it's kinda cute, actually."
Raphael glances away as his cheeks heat up, "Fine, whatever. Why do you want it anyway?"
You pull out your phone and hand it to him, "Let's exchange numbers so we can get to know each other better."
He hands you his phone and types his number into yours, "There."
The two of you stare at each other and before Raphael can get a sentence out his brother calls out for him. "RAPHAEL!!!! WE'RE GOING BACK HOME!"
He hisses in annoyance, "My little brother, sorry."
You clear your through awkwardly, "Right. Um, bye Raph."
He begins to jump up to the roof, before leaving he turns over his shoulder and glances at you, "I'll call you."
You watch from below as he jumps off with three other turtles, you clutch onto your phone and release a shaky breath. "...A turtle. He's a turtle?!"
You take a few steps back before walking off, "This is fine, but maybe I won't tell anyone about this just yet.."

"I can't believe you actually met them, Raph." Leo sits next to his brother as the four of them watch you walk home.
"I think it's adorable! You're making sure they're safe while walking home." Mikey gushes, teasing his brother as Donnie watches them in worry.
Raph growls in anger, standing up and chasing the youngest. "Shut it! It's not adorable!"
