Dave and I have been cordial and talk every day. We have not done anything else sexual. Talking to him has really made realize how much I miss his company and since I get DJ every other weekend doesn't make it any better.
Juan's sons, Juan Jr and Jacobi were here for the summer and he loved every minute it. Reya was so happy to have them and they love her just as much.
Lonnie and J have been keeping busy with Haven. J has more responsibilities with the shop since they will be opening a new shop in Miami soon. Lonnie was promoted to head nurse in the ER so she was working more hours. Between that and motherhood she barely had time for anything
Yani has had many successful events and had a magazine spread on a few of them. Devin continues to be the tech go-to for the tattoo shops.
"Happy Birthday to Jameer Happy Birthday to you"
"Yaaay" Meer squealed and we all laughed
I looked over at Yani who was crying
"Aww Yani" I said
"I'm ok my baby is 2 he growing so fast"
"She has been crying for 3 days you would've thought he was graduating from high school" Devin said

"DJ you want some pizza" I asked as he came running over to me from the bounce house
"Yes!" I grabbed a slice of cheese and sat down and handed him a napkin
"Hey Kor hold her real quick while I fill her sippy cup" Lonnie said

Later that night the kids were all sleep and DJ was laying on me. Dave walked in with the guys from outside from cleaning up.
"I'll get him we ready to head out" Dave said as he reached down getting him off my lap
"Thanks for coming to celebrate my baby" Yani said to Dave
"Of course I wouldn't miss my little cuz party"
Dave dapped up the guys and gave the ladies hugs until he got to me.
"You good to drive home" he asked me and I shrugged my head because I was tired
"Aiight let me know when you get home I know yo ass sleepy"
I smacked my lips "Yea ok Dave" he hugged me and gave me extra squeeze which I knew he was saying I need to chill
I got home and went straight to sleep. I heard my phone ringing and started to feel around on my bed.
"Hello" sleep still in my voice
"You lucky lil man here otherwise I'd be banging on your door"
I rubbed my eyes and looked to see it was 10 am "Dave it's too early for this shit"
"I told you let me know when you got home. I called and texted you all night"
"My bad Dave damn now you know how I felt when you wouldn't return my calls or texts"
"This ain't about me right now. I'm glad you home so I'll let you go back to sleep"
He hung up and I took a deep breathe feeling bad. I smiled a little to know he cared. I called him back.
"Yea" he said
"Sorry I didn't let you know I fell straight to sleep I was so exhausted"

"What the hell you whining for sounding like DJ and shit"

I heard noise in the background before I heard

I heard Dave suck his teeth "Yo what I tell you about that snitching shit. What I say to you is between us"
"Oh he said that huh" I said trying not to laugh

"Don't start that pouting shit" I couldn't help but laugh because he use to say the same thing to me

"Can my Kori mommy come" DJ asked and I heard Dave mumble something
"I'm sorry speak up" I said knowing he wouldn't like that
"Man get dressed and you best be ready by the time I get there"

"The fuck" I heard Dave say before the line beeped 3 times
45 mins later I heard a horn
"Shit" I said as I looked out the window while brushing my teeth
A couple minutes later my phone rung and I didn't answer it. I lotioned up and put on a dress and some Gucci slides. I grab the matching bag walking out the door.
When I got in DJ greeted me with a smile while his father...not so much. I tried to not make eye contact and was looking at my phone most of the time.
"You not going to speak"
I looked around "You talking to me" I asked and he glared at me
"Hello David how are you doing on this lovely day"
"I'm doing great" he said as he gripped my thigh and squeezed it
"Ouch" I smacked him on the shoulder
"Get him" DJ yelled
"Oh you on her side" Dave asked and DJ covered his mouth

DJ sat talking my head off while Dave was on his phone talking to Juan while we waited on our food. Our food came a few minutes later and we dug in.
"Can you cut my pancake" DJ asked Dave
"Make sure you cut them in small pieces don't want him to choke"

I looked up from my phone super quick. We were headed to the park.

He sighed "Yea man I be talking to the fellas about it. They been trying to hype me up to say something but I tell them I don't think she ready to go there with me yet"
"How you know that? Yes, Dave I won't ever forget but I have forgiven you. Honestly I do miss you even though I was hurt"
"I don't ever want to see you hurt like that again and I guess I was just nervous to say shit"
"Just promise me something" He looked at me "Don't leave me again"

We went and got ice cream after the park and now DJ was knocked out in the backseat.
"I see you over there dozing off"
"Shit I got the itis" She said
15 minutes later we pulled up to her place and I woke her up
"I can't wait this nap is about to be epic"
"All I know is he better not wake up when I get home I need some peace and quiet"

It had been months since we had a girls night. Everyone has been busy with work and families and we finally got some free time to just do us. It only has been a month since Dave and I made official again but have been taking things slow and when I say slow I mean slow aka no sex. I was getting ready over Dave's since I was going to stay there tonight.
I was doing my makeup when he walked in his room.
"Where ya'll going tonight"
"None ya"

Dave came out the bathroom from taking a shower to see me looking in the mirror
"Ohhh you showing out tonight"

"I'll be downstairs waiting on you" She said
I was dressed headed downstairs 20 mins later

Dave came downstairs in all black with his Gucci shoes smelling delicious. He knew what he was doing with the fresh edge up.
"If you stop staring we can leave"
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my shoes and walked out to the garage and headed over to Juan and Reya's
The girls took a Uber and headed to our section we reserved. It was packed and the music was bumping.
4 shots later we were warming up and chillin. We saw the guys walk in I guess they had just finished a meeting.
"Everybody my boys East, J, Juan and Dev in the building"
Hours later you couldn't tell us nothing shoes were off and we were dancing our asses off.
"We going to VIP"
When we got up there it nothing but smoke and finally saw the guys sitting on the couch with bottles.
"Ya'll some sell outs" I said to them

"Oh you ain't want to see me" Dave asked while blowing out smoke looking so good

She knew what she was doing. Being petty as usual knowing we weren't having sex and going to sit here and do all this shit. Once she finished she had a smirk on her face and winked at me.
"Dave ain't that baby moms" Juan pointed down where security being that she was trying to come up
"I know she not trying to come up in here crazy ass"
It was going on 3 am as we walking out and the girls were done. As I had my arm wrapped around Kori drunk ass I felt a tug on my arm.
"Oh that's how we do now Dave" I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe
"Go head I ain't on that type of time"
"Oh but you on that type of time with this bitch though the nurse though really Dave"
"Who you calling a bitch" Kori sobered up real quick
"Bria you worried about me when you need to be worried about your son"
"You won't let me see him"
I started to see red and had remove myself ASAP.
"Ay Bria keep it moving" J said as he shooed her away as I got Kori in my truck

I woke up head banging but didn't see Dave next to me. I went in the bathroom and brushed my teeth and found the Tylenol and headed downstairs to get some water. After taking the pills I went down into his "man cave" to see him sitting on his couch with ESPN playing on the projector screen.
"You up early" I said as I approached
"Naw you just up late" I hit him in the shoulder "What time is it"

My mouth flew open "Are you serious"
"Yo ass was knocked out. I spoke with the fellas J said Lonnie rolled out the bed and he just left her there"
I busted out laughing "My poor friends"
"Ya'll wild" Dave said while shaking his head
"We still going to your mom's"
"Yea, she cooking and DJ done made it his way to my cousin house again so he will there later"
"Cool because my parents finally went on vacation so if you could swing by there so I can get the mail from Friday and Saturday" I said while sitting on his lap

"Well I know it's been a while and been putting in more time at the hospital"
"Hell yea they need to hurry and hire more nurses especially in the ER"
"On your next day I have set up a spa day for you"
