"Harry, Kai! Get down here, you're going to be late!" Sirius Black called from downstairs.
"Coming, Uncle Padfoot!" A 12-year-old Harry Potter yelled back from upstairs,
"C'mon, Kai." Harry and Kai raced out of the room and down the stairs. They sat at the table in their usual seats, shoveling eggs and bacon down their throats. Remus and Sirius each took the hand of their godchild, and apparated to Kings Cross. When they werent able to get through the barrier, Sirius realized there was a wall infront of it, which Remus (secretly so the Muggles wouldn't see) bursted it open. Running through the barrier between platforms 9 and 10, the four arrived on platform 9 ¾.
"Bye!" Sirius said, pulling Kai into a hug, "Have fun!"
"Make sure to write!" Remus said, it was now his turn to hug Kai.
"Bye Uncle Padfoot, bye Uncle Moony!" Kai gave them each a last hug, before jumping onto the red steam engine, the Hogwarts Express. She followed her big brother, who had taken their trunks, into a compartment with his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Harry said hello, before sitting down next to Ron.
"Hi, Ron." Kai greeted. She hugged Hermione "Hi, Hermione."
"Hi, Kai." they chorosed. The train ride was amazing. Hermione made them change into robes half an hour before they arrived.
"Good luck, Kai." Harry hugged his little sister. "Don't fall in." Hermione reminded. They walked over to the carriages. Kai however was a first year, so she had to take the boats across the lake with Hagrid.

Harry, Ron and Hermione sat at the Gryffindor table. The sorting ceremony had begun.
"Adams, Jason!" McGonagall called up the first student, who bacame a Ravenclaw.
Name after name was called, and student after student joined their new house.
"Lovegood, Luna!" McGonagall called. Luna became a Ravenclaw and joind the other first years at the Ravenclaw table
"Malfoy, Ara!" McGonagall called for the millionth time. A white-blonde haired girl made her way to the front of the line. She had blue-grey eyes and pale skin. She glanced at her big brother, who smilled encouragingly, he had saved a spot for her, just as Harry, Ron and some others had done. The girl sat down on the stool and the Sorting Hat was placed on her head, which unlike her brother, took it's time to place her.
"Hmm, interesting. Very different from the other Malfoys and Blacks I've sorted. Interesting, very interesting. Let me see...yes...you would do great in Gryffindor. No?" The Sorting Hat thought inside Ara's head, who had begun to whisper "Not Gryyfindor. Slytherin, please Slytherin." "In that case, must be..."-his voice raised to a bellow-"SLYTHERIN!" The Slytherins clapped in a mannered fashion, as she joined the table, and sat on the seat her brother had saved for her.
"Potter, Kai!" Mcgonagall read off the list of new students. There was a murmur of whispering, as Kai walked over to the chair and sat down. Harry gave her a thumbs up, before her vision was broken by the sorting hat.
"Hmm" the sorting had said, "tricky one, just like your brother. Slytherin would do well...Very smart, I see, you are though. You would be a fine Ravenclaw-ah but no!" Kai nodded. "Must be...GRYFFINDOR!!!" The entire Hall burst into cheers, as Kai got up and walked to the table with the huge red and gold lion banner. She sat down next to her brother, on the seat he had saved for her. Harry gave her a tight hug, as if saying "Good job" and "Welcome to the gang". They looked up to watch the rest of the ceremony, as a familiar name was called.
"Weasley, Ginevra!" Professor Magonagall called. A ginger walked up to the chair and sat down.
"Ha! Another Weasley! I know just what to do with you...GRYFFINDOR!" The sorting hat bellowed. The ginger walked over to the cheering table of gryffindors, and sat down next to her older brothers.
The sorting hat finished with a boy named Matthew Zinski being sorted into Gryffidor. Dumbledore gave a few words before the famous feast began. Students helped themselves to piled of food, as if they had been starved.

"We better send Hedwig with a letter on what house you're in." Harry suggested.
"Yeah, otherwise we'll get a howler sent from Paddy." Kai said, as they both burst out laughing. They were sitting in the gryffindor common room by the fire. Suddenly, there was a chaos coming from the second year boy dorm. There was a sreek, as a snowy white owl flew into the common room.
"Hedwig!" Harry exclaimed, holding out his arm for the owl to sit on. Harry took one look at the letter, and burst out laughing. Kai soon joined him.
"Speak of the devil!" Harry said through bowls of laughter.
"Better open it." Kai said. Harry nodded, opening the howler.
"Kai Lily Potter!" The voice of Sirius yelled from the letter. Harry burst out laughing.
As if predicting it, Sirius snapped: "Don't you look so innocent, Harry Potter." At that, Harry instantly fell silent.
"Why has it already been a whole 24 hours, and we have not received a letter telling us which house Kai is in?!"
"Padfoot! What on earth are you doing?" a new voice could now be heard: Remus. "Is that? No. SIRIUS BLACK!!" Then, the voice was cut off.
"Of course Pads didn't tell Rem about it!" Harry said, getting up from the floor, where he had been rolling with laughter.
"We better write to them." Kai suggested, ending her last giggle as she got up off the floor. Harry grabbed a piece of parchment, and the two began to write: (Harry, Kai)
Dear Uncle Padfoot and Uncle Moony,
We arrived safely, and Kai enjoyed her first ride on the Hogwarts Express. Classes are starting tomorrow. Harry's been a prat. No I haven't! I'm only joking! Anyways, we are glad to announce the fourth gryffindor of the house!!! (Kai's a gryffindor). Nothing much to update on, keep in touch!

"Looks good." Kai stated, rolling up the letter, "We'll Wait for tomorrow to send it, Hedwig needs some rest." Harry nodded. He gave her a hug and said goodnight, before he walked up the stairs to his dorm, Hedwig on his arm. Kai walked up the stairs to the girls' dorm, which she shared with Ron's little sister, Ginerva Weasley.

Ginevra Weasley P.O.V.
"Hi." My roommate, Kai, greeted, as she walked into our dorm.
"Hi." I blurted, "um...is it true that you're the Kai Potter? Do you really have that...umm...scar? Ron told me 'bout Harry's."
Damn, I am so stupid
"Yeah, I am the Kai Potter." Kai replied, rolling her eyes on "The". She lifted up a stand of hair covering her scar. I gasped.
"Sorry about all the questions," I apologized, "my brothers-
"Don't be sorry, Ginevra, everyone asks." Kai said.
"Ginny, you can call me Ginny." I said.
"Ok, Ginny," she kindly responded, " d'ya want to be friends?" She held out her hand.
Did Kai Potter just ask me to be friends?!?!?!
"Of course!" I almost yelled, shaking her hand.
We sat down in our four-poster beds. Kai told me about herself, and her past with Sirius Black and Remus Lupin and so on. I told her about me too. And that's how we fell asleep, telling stories.

Harry P.O.V.
I sat at the Great Hall, eating breakfast. Ron was across from me, stuffing his face with food. Hedwig had returned this morning at 6 with my godfathers' response. After 15 minutes, two ginger gryffindor first years walked into the hall. Kai spotted me and sat down to my right, Ginny Weasley, Ron's little sister, sat across from her.
"Hi, Harry!" Kai said, giving me a hug.
"Hi! How d'you sleep?" I asked, hugging her back.
"Fine, you?" She responded, breaking the hug.
"Fine." I said, "I see you've made a friend."
Kai nodded, "Yep. Her name's Ginny Weasley."
"Hedwig came back with a response." I told her.
"Go on, open it." She replied. I pulled it out of my pocket, and held it out so Kai could read it. (Monny, Padfoot)
Dear Harry and Kai,
Good to hear you're all well and safe. Congratulations on Gryffindor, Kai!!! Have fun with your first classes, and please do play a few prankes on Snivellus for me, will you? Sirius Black! How many more times Anyways, make sure to write!

Ps: you'll be glad to learn that your Uncle Padfoot, got in big trouble for the howler he sent you.
"Bahahahahaha!!!" Kai burst out laughing, "of course Uncle Siri would write that." By now I was laughing as well.
"I can just picture Remus taking over yours and Mum's job, and smacking Padfoot's head. " I stated. Kai nodded, still laughing.
"I'll make sure to smack him when we go back for Christmas." she said.
"Mr. Potter, Ms. Potter, may I have a word? " a female voice said from behind us. Kai and I spin around to see Professor Mconagall.
"Of course, Professor. " Kai replied, grabbing my wrist and pulling me to my feet. Mcgonagall led us to her office.
"What is it, Professor?" Kai asked, as we sat down at her desk.
"Well, we saw you playing quidditch with your brother over the holidays and in the past, and therefore Dumbledore and I thought we could let you tryout next weekend, if you wanted to, of course. " Mcgonagall told us, a smile on her face. Kai simply turned and hugged me. I wiped off a tear coming out her eye with my thumb, as we broke the hug.
"As for you Mr. Potter," Mcgonagall continued, "Mr. Wood is asking if you are still playing this year. "
"Is that supposed to be a joke? Of course I'm playing!" I replied, with a smile.
"You better hurry now, get back to the common room before classes start. Here are your schedules." she said, handing us each a parchment.
I looked down at mine:
Not too bad.
I turned and looked over Kai's shoulder:
I showed her mine.
"Damn, you've got double potions with Snivellus first thing." she stated. We walked back to Gryffindor Tower, and sat on the couches by the fire.
"So..." I started, "which position d'ya want to play?"
"Chaser. I mean I'm always Chaser when we play at home." she responded.
