We're always so torn between the shine and shade,
That in that tug of war, we eventually fade.
But it's not light or dark where we truly feel fine,
It's something in the middle, a faded line.
An angel and a devil, you're a bit of both,
It's both bright light and endless dark that you loathe.
You're terrified of hell, yet heaven just isn't for you,
Cause you sacrificed both out of kindness and to get through.
Stop pretending like you're God's or Satan's child,
You're a bit of both, you're the calm, you're the wild.
