I slapped my hand onto my face and dragged it down as I watched Luffy climb the chains of the Noah that was slowly leaving Fishman Island. Shirahoshi was leading the ship away from the island, since Decken had apparently thrown it at her, and his devil fruit has to do with throwing things that follow their target. He was going to kill her along with destroy this place just because the guy is obsessed with the mermaid. Now Luffy is going after Decken, and Hordy is also on the chains as well for whatever reason. Not to mention Decken left the huge sea baby from earlier in the valley with us.
That sea baby, by the way, got an energy steroid and already defeated the Kraken. Jinbei and Sanji were the ones who took on the challenge of taking him down. At the same time, there was an octopus man that was on the loose, and it wasn't Hachi this time, it was one of Hordy's men. Or well, I thought he was. He's going around cutting down everything he sees. I just looked away since I knew that if there was swordsmanship involved, Zoro would go and save the day.
"Spacing out, are we?"
Before I could even find the source of that voice, I was hit in the side and thrown across the battlefield. I slammed into a wall and had to climb out of the hole I created in it.
"Goddamit," I cursed, brushing myself off. I wasn't hurt, but I was definitely taken by surprise. I should probably stop narrating other people's situations in my head so I can focus enough to use observation haki on surrounding enemies. Back to the situation at hand, my eyes searched for the fishman who sent me flying. It looked like some kinda eel fishman. Either way, I went running at him.
"I'm surprised you can get up after that," he said calmly. I didn't bother to respond, aiming a fist at the guy's face. I guess he expected to have a conversation or something, because he definitely was not ready for that punch. His face took the impact of my attack and I slammed him head first into the ground. I kicked him into the same wall that he threw me into and watched him climb out of it. He spit out some blood and started walking back to me, looking very unhappy. He grabbed something out of his pocket and sighed, "I didn't expect to be using this so soon. Though, I did let you hit me. That's right, I let you." He popped what looked to be a few pills into his mouth. He stared straight as his muscles began to bulge and his eyes turned red. "It won't be happening again," he continued.
He jumped at me, holding his fingers close together to jab them at my stomach. He was moving incredibly fast compared to his earlier movements speed. Too bad I'm still faster. I dodged and turned my hand into a spear, piercing through his shoulder. He winced in pain, but then grabbed my arm to seemingly keep me from pulling back. Suddenly, a horribly familiar feeling overtook me.
Electricity.
My entire body tensed and I gritted my teeth, breaking away from the fishman's hold. He attacked again while I was paralyzed, grabbing my face and electrocuting me while using his steroid strength to try to crack the metal of my face. It wasn't working, of course, because he's weak. I ripped his grip on my face off, and then headbutted him, making him crumble to the floor.
An explanation from the oldest prince about what the New Fishmen Pirates really were started coming through on the island's public speakers. All I heard was that the main officers and Hordy were unprovoked monsters created by a racist grudge. Luffy's voice followed after the speech about hatred, where he stated that our crew would help this island no matter. Honestly, I didn't care much because either way, I am going to kill this eel man.
I shook the stinging feeling from my body and cracked my knuckles, staring down the fishman who was holding his bleeding forehead. "So you're an electric eel, huh? That's really too bad for you," I sighed out in pity for him.
He became confused and asked, "Wouldn't it be bad for you instead? My electricity enforced attack worked. I meant to have you stab my shoulder earlier. Yes, I let you."
My eyebrow twitched. "I really don't care what you let me do. You just happened to remind me of someone I didn't want to remember," I grunted, sinking into my fighting stance.
"Try it if you-" I kicked him in the jaw, sending him straight up into the air. I infused haki into my hand and shifted it into a hammer, swinging my entire body around a couple of times until finally hitting him in the stomach when he fell back down to me, making him fly into a couple fishmen until he crashed into another wall. Every time I made contact with him, he tried to electrocute me, which meant I had to keep my attacks shorter. I deactivated my devil fruit to get lighter and started sprinting full speed to where the eel man was heading. Once I reached him, I turned my power back on. I shifted my other arm into a chain and grabbed him out of the wall with the new chain link, making his head bust though the floor after thrusting him into the air and then violently back down. I used my hammer hand to plant him into the ground like a nail.
"She's a monster..."
"Eel-sama... she beat him so fast..."
"He was even using the steroids..."
"He was one of the stronger captains..."
"First the Noah and now this?! I'm out!"
I didn't realize it until now, but I was fairly close to the rest of my crew now. I started running over to them, seeing Sanji fall from the sky while I did so, followed by the giant sea baby he was fighting earlier.
"You should have dropped him elsewhere, you worthless chef!" Zoro shot at the blond.
"Shut up! I'll make something fall on you next time!" Sanji argued. They started bickering so I directed my attention elsewhere.
Franky climbed back into his robot, and then asked Chopper to shrink down a bit since he was upstaging him in size. Robin proceeded to point out that the creation was useless in this battle. I wouldn't really know, I wasn't paying much attention this time to be honest.
"Ah! Nami-san!" I turned my head when I heard Brook's voice call the navigator. "Please wear a miniskirt-" The orange head stabbed her staff into his mouth to keep him from saying anything else. He backed away so the staff was out of his range and then turned to me. "(Y/n)-san, please wear a-"
"Don't finish that sentence, Brook," I warned him.
"Ah, I am very sorry," he said, taking a huge step back, which was possible due to his extremely long legs. Why is he so tall?
The speakers started blaring again. "THIS TIME! THIS TIME FOR SURE STRAW HAT BEAT HORDY! NOW HE'S TRYING HIS HARDEST TO DESTROY THE SHIP BEFORE IT REACHES THE ISLAND!"

"Suuuuper Afro!"
"Franky-san, that's so cool!" Brook gushed.
"Isn't it super?" the cyborg responded.
"Oi, Chopper, are you alright?" Usopp asked, spotting the reindeer barely being able to stand, even swaying.
I caught my small crew-mate before he could fall and held him in my arms like a baby(because he's baby). Sanji seemed to have an issue with that, but I ignored him and received a thanks from Chopper for keeping him from hitting the floor. "When I use the Monster Boost, I can't walk for a couple of hours from fatigue, but I can still treat you! Is anyone hurt?" Chopper gasped out. Sea kings ended up taking the Noah away, so everyone was saved, which was why we were being so light-hearted and random now. We just needed to wait for Luffy to get back with Shirahoshi.
"Look who's talking," Zoro grunted.
I shook my head at the swordsman, then smiled down at the reindeer in my arms. "It's really cool that you managed to control yourself in that state, though. You've made a lot of progress, Chopper," I complimented.
He blushed cutely from embarrassment and started wiggling his arms since he couldn't do his whole dance right now, "Oh shut up, you idiot~! I'm not cool for that~!"
A laugh escaped me at his behavior, only for that to be interrupted by Sanji, who was dragging himself across the floor towards me with hearts sprouting from his head. "(Y/n)-swaaan~! I used a daring technique and I'm exhausted too! PLEASE hold me against your chest-"
Zoro stepped on his face. "Put your damn head somewhere else," he growled.
"Get off of me, green bastard!"
I rolled my eyes at them and petted Chopper, who already stopped doing his little dance. The three fishmen princes came back with Hordy and Decken in their grasp. The two villains were quickly chained up and the oldest prince announced that everything was going to be ok to the public. Shirahoshi's crying came into earshot soon after that. We cheered for Luffy and her, but stopped when she cried out that Luffy was losing blood, and fast. He was placed on the ground by the princess, and the crew, including me, surrounded him.
"Luffy-san pushed himself so far in order to save us!" the princess sobbed.
"This is bad! There are hemostatics in my backpack! Please get it for me, (y/n)!" Chopper ordered, flopping over in my hold.
It was such a cute sight but I had no time for that right now. I looked at Robin, "Could you help me? I have no idea what a hemostatic is."
She nodded and pulled whatever it was out of his bag, putting it into a needle and putting it near Chopper's hoof. He grabbed it, and then asked for assistance in doing his doctor duty. I just let Robin pick him up from my arms by smushing his face since she was carrying him by his cheeks, then moving him over to Luffy's unconcious body.
"I can stop the bleeding but he's lost too much blood," the doctor assessed.
"Luffy is the only one with blood type F among us," Sanji pointed out.
"You guys know your blood type off the bat?" I asked. He raised a irritated brow in my direction but dropped it, seeing that the stupid question came from me. He should have kept that energy because I deserved it for not knowing my blood type. (Yes I do not know mine. Fight me)
"There must be somebody in the plaza!" Franky panicked.
We all started calling out to the fishmen that still remained surrounding the empty battlefield, but received no reply. "Oh yea!" Chopper gasped, "Donating blood to humans is prohibited in this country!"
Even when we knew this, we continued to call out to them in fear of our captain . We even tried to ask the humans that were still in the plaza. We stopped when Jinbei came into view from the crowd.
"Use my blood. It's F. You can have as much as you want," the fishman stated.
Chopper and Usopp began getting equipment ready, since the reindeer could now slightly move. As soon as Jinbei's blood reached Luffy, our captain woke up. He didn't open his eyes, but he did call for Jinbei's attention by saying his name. The fishman responded, but was surprised by what came next. So was I.
"Jinbei... join my crew."

"When I fulfill all of my duties, I promise I will come to see you all again. And if you haven't changed your mind, can I take you up on your offer then?" Jinbei finally replied.
"You swear?!" Luffy aggressively questioned.
We were on the Sunny, but it was floating away from the battlefield now since we didn't want to deal with the craziness of the crowd that was bound to happen. Zoro rationalized why we left to Shirahoshi earlier, saying that being a hero sucks because you have to share booze. I couldn't agree more.
"Who whoa, when a man talks about his duty, you can't press him," Sanji butted in.
"He likes Jinbei so much!" Robin chimed.
"Luffy thinks so highly of you! So we're all gonna wait for you, Jinbei!" Franky concluded.
The fishman closed his eyes and let out a breath, "All right. Thank you!"
"Now what're we gonna do? Head for the New World?" Zoro asked Nami, who happened to be the closest person to him.
This got a gasp out of Shirahoshi, who was air-swimming closely to the ship. "What?! You're going to leave the island?!" she whimpered out with eyes becoming watery. "I couldn't thank you properly and I didn't get to talk to you all!"
"YOSH! Let's stay at the Mermaid Cafe for a week or two!" Sanji cheered.
Usopp ran up behind him and smacked the blond over the head. "That'd be just up your alley, wouldn't it?!" he chided, and then smirked, "But I wanna go, too!"
"Oi! Wait!" a guard came up to the side of the boat riding on a fish with a floaty bubble. "Please wait, Straw Hats!" He pulled out a den den mushi and said something to it before turning it in our direction. At this point, we were all standing at the railing closest to the guard.
Neptune's voice started coming out of the snail, "Luffy-kun, why did you leave? I wanted to thank you-"
"I don't wanna be a hero!" Luffy cut him off.
"I know! Let's just have a banquet. The banquet we could not have before-jamon."
"A banquet~?! Then I'll be right there! Banquet~!" the teen began cheering. "Meat, meat! I wanna eat!" Nami sighed at his antics. "Alright! Let's go pick up Hachi and Camie!"

The king sent flounders to come and get us after we landed the ship at a dock kind of thing, and we climbed into the air bubbles that were on top of the large flat sea creatures. The flounders brought us into the palace once again, into a water filled dark room, where we were greeted with a bunch of soldiers on the floor who started cheering for us.
"Heroes! Heroes! Heroes! Heroes!"
"Shut up! Stop calling us heroes! I wanna eat meat!"
Zoro sprung up from his little nap and said, "He's right! I wanna drink sake!"
Shirahoshi popped up in front of us, and then told us to direct our attention to the stage that was in front of us. A voice started booming on the speakers, "Ladies and gentlemen! Let's start the banquet with the Straw Hats! First, we present to you the greatest diva of the deep sea!" A spotlight shined on an eel looking fishman woman who had a black dress on. "Maria Napole!" Lights from all around lit up the room, and Maria began singing as the color of her spotlight changed color. The band on the stage could now be seen, and jazz music began playing as she sang.
Mermaids came out from behind curtains, and then drinks were served by other mermaids. The music paused and Neptune began speaking. "Before I give a toast, I really want to express my gratitude briefly-jamon. All of you Straw Hats! Thanks to you-
Luffy jumped up and stretched the bubble we were in, ending up right in front of Neptune's face as he yelled, "IT'S BANQUET TIME!"
"CHEEEERSSS!"
Music started playing again and everyone started having a good time. Food was taken out and more booze was passed around. It was a great time. Nami was having a drinking competition with the oldest prince, I was drinking sake on the flounder with Luffy who was stuffing his face. I wanted to goo on the other flounder so I could talk to someone who wasn't busy choking on their food, but Luffy refused to let me switch places. It's fine, more mermaids were around to get me things when I was next to him anyway.
Nami was finally able to pull me away when one of the separate halls was filled with air for us. I had to also carry Zoro, who had decided to take a nap, and Usopp, who was inflated from food to this isolated spot. Chopper was dragging Sanji away with me since the blond was pretty much overwhelmed from so much mermaids that he was practically unconscious.
"I drank sooo much," the navigator breathed out when we were situated at the edge of the air bubble right outside some stairs.
"Well I haven't drank enough. Good thing I brought some more with me from the mermaids," I chirped with my cheeks flushed from the alcohol already in my system. I grabbed out a huge gourd out of thin air and tilted my entire upper body back to take a drink from it.
"Seriously, you and Zoro are crazy for that stuff," she huffed.
I shrugged and downed some more of the drink before saying, "Aren't you the one who said you needed to sober up out here?"
"And aren't you the one who was jailed in the palace because you passed out drunk with your boyfriend?" Nami shot back.
I clutched at the fabric of my shirt over my heart. "Ouch! Didn't need to go that far. Plus, Zoro and I got out," I said with fake hurt.
She rolled her eyes, but he wasn't able to respond because Usopp piped up from his laying position on the floor. "Wait wait! When was Zoro your boyfriend?!" he asked a little too loudly. This seemed to have Sanji's entire body jolt, and he sat up immediately, effectively scaring Chopper, who was fanning the previously unconscious man.
"BOYFRIEND?!" was the first thing he yelled in agony.
I facepalmed and shook my head, "I never even confirmed- SANJI WAIT!" I shot up and wrapped my arms around the blond cook, keeping him from attacking the green head. "At least let me explain! ...Oh you already stopped." Sanji stopped struggling as soon as I grabbed him. In fact, he was melting. Literally melting into a puddle on the floor.
"(Y/n)-swaaan... It's been so long since I was embraced by you-"
"Wait so he's not your boyfriend?" Usopp talked over Sanji's love speech, which continued even after I looked away from the blond puddle.
"No, Nami just has a way with words," I said with a sigh. The sniper nodded, completely accepting it. Meanwhile, Nami was giggling her head off a few feet away and Zoro was still fast asleep on the floor. Maybe I should have let Sanji curb stomp him.

Sorry, but I hate explaining things that we literally all watched so yk I be speeding. That's also why I don't put half of the speeches. It takes so much of the word count but we literally already watched it so why waste space, amirite? Sometimes I don't even listen to the speeches idk. Btw Decken is a damn pedo bc wtf he started going after her when she was a child CYCGHUBJKN. And WHY WAS SHIRAHOSHI GOING STRAIGHT UP WHEN SHE LEADS THE NOAH AWAY??? WHEN DID SHE THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA IN ANY WORLD??? GODDAMN
