Mahi woke up next day only to find Vi sleeping cuddling to him . He don't have a heart to disturb his sleep so he sat thier only stroking virat's hair . After sometime Mahi felt movement only to find Vi woke up . He helped Virat to sit up straight . Good morning Cheeku said Mahi kissing Vi's forehead . Good morning bhai replied bhai with a small smile . Mahi ruffled his hair and sent him to get freshen up . Mahi was preaparing breakfast thinking about last night how much he don't show but what happened last night had somewhere broke Mahi too . Especially the thought that he might have lost his cheeku if he was a bit late in reaching sends a shiver through his spine . That time he got a call from dada .
Mahi : Good morning dada
Dada : good morning Mahi . wWat happened kiddo u r sounding low today ??
A sob escaped from Mahi and that was enough to make dada worried . Dada immediately put the call on vedio call
Dada ( worried ) : why r u crying baccha what happened ??
Mahi told dada everything from the team accusing Vi to the last night Vi breakdown . Dada was also shocked . Virat was his kiddo too everything Mahi told him shook him too but right now he had to be strong because of his kiddo who needs him . He can very well understand from the turmoil Mahi must be going through afterall he was an elder brother too .
Mahi ( sobbing ) : how can they do this dada ?? Cheeku was there for everyone when they needed him but now when Cheeku needs them they r not even sparing a glance at him . It hurts dada it hurts to see Cheeku like this , they broke them to the extent that he was going to ( choking ) . First time in my life I felt I failed as a big brother , I failed to protect my Cheeky , my kiddo , my baccha .
Dada : calm down Mahiya . U never failed as a big brother kiddo . How can u say that u failed when amongst everyone its u who trusted him , its u whom he is feeling secure right now , its u in whose arms he wished to stay as he feel protected and secured , its u whom he trust more than himself . U have to be strong baccha because its u on whom he is completely dependent right now , he only have urs support baccha, if he will see u like this na kiddo then he will break all over again . Its just matter of few days then u will get ur Cheeku again who will whine , complain ,irritate and tease u to his heart extent and he will again boast infront of everyone about how u love him more than anyone else taking all the stupid reasons as base
Mahi chuckled with tears . He wiped his tears and gave his usual calm smile .
Dada : thats like my Mahiya . Go and be with Cheeku he needs u and take care of urself too . For godsake Mahiya please keep ur phone near u otherwise I will personally throw ur phone in bin and won't even let u buy the new one
Mahi sheepishly smiled and end the call . He went to Virat room with breakfast only to find him sitting on swing in the balcony . Mahi just went and sat beside him . Virat's chain of thoughts broke as he heard a voice " don't stress ur brain this much Cheeku " Vi first got startled but calm down almost immediately seeing it was his Mahi bhai only .
Mahi : have ur breakfast now
Vi : Bhai plzz... I am not hungry even a bit . I will eat after sometime na .
" Did I ask u?? " said Mahi bhai with little sterness as he forwarded a bite to Virat which Vi ate slowly . After breakfast Virat sat on ground keeping his head on mahi bhai lap where as Mahi sat there caressing his hair
Mahi : what happened baccha ??
After few minutes of silence .
Vi : bhai did I failed as a big brother , friend , younger brother and captain ??
Mahi ( hastily ) : no Cheeku u r the best . U never failed in any role baccha . Don't ever think like this again . If I am saying that u r the best then u r the one kiddo .
Vi ( teary eyes ) : then why none trusted me bhai ??? They left me so easily . Am I nothing to them ?? Am I no one to yuvraj pa.. I mean si. ( choked ) sir and harbhajan sir ??? I was there cheeku right , thier younger brother?? I tried bhai and I am still trying , trying my level best to forget everything they said but Its not hapening . Its hurting bhai its hurting me very badly . ( tears now coming from his eyes ) Didn't they felt bad when they said everything to me ??? I am so stupid na I trusted those who don't even think before breaking all our ties but I didn't trusted the one who stood by myside everytime I fall , I took so much time to trust my bhai , my Mahi bhai . ( looking at Mahi ) I hurted u na I know , I didn't wanted to bhai trust me I don't know what got over me I didn't wanted to trust anyone . If its possible then please forgive me bhai , plzz forgive ur Cheeku .
Mahi : no Cheeku u r not at fault even a little bit . Yes I was hurt at that time but don't I know my Cheeks . I understand baccha it is very tough for u , what u said yesterday was just u don't wanted to raise false hope again right ?? ( Vi nodded slightly ) Its okk baccha its obvious to behave like that and trust me I even forget that incident , u too forget baccha and as far as the team nd those two ( yuvraj and harbhajan ) are concerned then understand it Cheeku u didn't failed instead they r failed as friend , big bros and kiddos . They r failure not u , never blame urself for thier stupidity . They r just being selfish jerk don't think about any of thier words . Understood ??
Vi just hums in response as he snuggled into Mahi more where as mahi let him do so ruffling and patting his hairs .
Vi( mumbled ) : u will not push me away na the way did???
Mahi ( kissing his head ) : never Cheeku , never ever in my life . I promise u .

Harry ( frustatedly ) why Mahi bhai can't understand a simple thing . He should not be anywhere near that person . His reputation will be spoiled . Atleast not because of reputation but for the sake of his family he can stay away from him .
Shikh : exactly Sak bhai can even handle but Ziva she is just 6 years old she don't know anything about all this stuff .
Jaddu : he is believing too much on him

Shikh : what the hell is his problem ??? What does he want ?? If he trust that person so much then why can't he go with him ??
Rohit quietly left for Jinks room he was also feeling the same he can understand Jinks very well . He reached Jinks room only to find Jinks sitting on the bed lost in deep thoughts . He goes and sat beside him
Ro : why did u came like this Jinksy ???
Jinks : I don't why but it is feeling we r doing something something
Ro : terribly wrong . It feels like we r doing something terribly wrong . I know trust me I feels the same . But
Jinks : but we have to this . Right ???
Ro nodded and said " look Jinks atleast 5 or 6 yrs of our career our still remaing and u know very well what can be done in these years . Moreover more than a cricketer people will remember for the person we were so we can't let our reputation in eyes of people fall like this . We have our life too after the retirement . Lets suppose if something bad happened with our daughters or wife then will we able to forgive ourselve ??? Will we able to live after that ?? We have to take the chance this Jinks think who is more important to u family whom u love more than ur life , career for which u worked hard for so many years or him ( Virat )

Rohit just hugged him tight as he knew how Jinks must be feeling . After sometime Jinks and Ro were watching a movie to lighten up the environment , In between the movie Jinks turned to Ro only to find him thinking something deeply . He paused the movie and shook Ro lightly
Ro : ha ? Ha what happened novie is over ??
Jinks : what r u thinking Ro ??
Ro : Jinks I was I was thinking about Mahi bhai , how to convince him to stay away from Vi I .. I mean Virat Kohli . His reputation will be spoiled and if god forbid something wrong happened with Ziva or bhabhi .
Jinks : I am also worried about this , should we ask Yuvi pa and Bhajji pa to talk to bhai . Yuvi pa is his nest friend his words will definately affect bhai . Lets call him
Ro : yes u call him
Jinks ( raising his eyes brows ) where is ur phone ???
Ro : battery is dead ( sheepishly ) I forgot my charger somewhere .
Jinks rolled his eyes shaking his eyes . They called Yuvi pa who was with bhajji pa at that time and told him everything .
Yuvi (angrily) : WHAT THE HELL !!!! Has Mahi lost his mind ??? I will talk to him u guys dont worry

Virat was laying on the bed with his head on Mahi bhai's lap . They were talking about various thing actually this time Mahi bhai was talking and Vi was just adding a word or two . That time Mahi's phone rang seeing the caller id Mahi bhai curled his finger in fist and ended the call . His phone rang again two times more and he again ended the call . He switched his phone off messaging dada to call on Vi's phone ( Virat phone was also with Mahi bhai so that Vi cant go through social media stuffs )
Vi : what happened bhai who is it ??
Mahi : no one Cheeku just wrong number .
Vi was unconvinced with the answer but still nodded .
On the other side
Yuvi : where the hell Mahi is ?? Why is he not picking up the phone ??
Bhajji : he wont pick up the phone lets go to his house only .
Yuvi nodded and booked the ticket for Ranchi .
