Ms reached the hotel . He directly went to Vi's room like asusual it was opened . He saw Vi lying on his stomach on the floor hidding his face in his arms . Mahi slowly went near him and caressed his hair . It somehow calmed every nerve of Vi . He slowly looked up to find his Mahi bhai looking at him concern and warmth . Same warmth which was always there in his eyes for him . He felt little relieved but one second isn't he thinking too much may his assumption is wrong like other time . No he won't expect anyhting from anyone he is alone and he has to except it . Mahi's heart clenched as he saw Vi face . His eyes were dead and red , face was deviod of any emotion . Mahi had known this boy since last 12 years but never saw him this much broken . He made Vi get up from the floor and sit on the bed . He took him in a hug as he sat beside him .
Mahi : what happened Cheeku ??? Why my baccha is so silent even after meeting his mahi bhai .
But Vi was just sat down quietly parting away from the hug . Mahi bhai again tried " cheeku what... " only to be cut by Vi in between
Vi : U don't have to come here . Dont worry I won't come near ur daughter and ur wife . Ur reputation will not be spoiled because of me . I will stay away from u so away that even my shadow won't reach to u .

Vi just kept quiet sitting looking down he just don't want to trust anyone even his Mahi bhai . Mahi was angry , hurt , helpless . Angry on the team and so called big bros of Cheeku who broke him to this extent , hurt as his Cheeku is not ready to trust him but he understands Vi is not in the condition to trust anyone offcourse how can he trust anyone easily now as his trust is broken by the person whom he trust . Vi just let Mahi drag him where is he taking him it doesn't matter now . They were in corridors only to be stopped by a voice Mahi didn't find the need to turn he very well recognised the voice. He just took deep breath and tightened his hold on Vi as he saw Vi getting stiff just by hearing the voices . That's when Ro , jinks , shikh and jaddu came in front of him . As always they all hugged Mahi but much to thier shock Mahi didn't respond to the hug and pushed them away . They all could see the anger in his eyes which they have not notice in these so many years and offcourse they know the reason .
Ro : Bhai the team want to talk with u

Mahi nodded and as they went to Jinks room Vi was not stepping inside the room it seems like his legs were not working . Mahi noticed this he just tightened the grip on Vi hand and said " calm down Cheeks this time u r not alone ur Mahi bhai is here with u . No one I repeat no one can say anything to u in my presence . U don't trust me its okk I understand but u too understand that ur Mahi bhai is always there .He is not going to leave u like others . ( glaring Ro , Jink , Jad , Shikh ) " Vi calmed down as he heard those words but he was reminding himself again and again not to raise any hope from anyone . He is still alone . His thoughts were broken as the door open again and all other juniors came inside too . They went to hug Mahi but he pushed them away too. They r not mature enough to hide thier emotion , the hurt was visible on thier face clearly . He heard Mahi no not Mahi it was Ms who was speaking . Mahi sat on the driving seat where as Vi sat beside him . The journey was silent Vi was immersed in his thoughts . He was at some peace after so many hrs . He was thinking about Mahi's word . He wanted to curse himself how he didn't trusted his bhai , his words must have certainly hurted him . Soon they reached at Ms house . This silent Vi was something Mahi was not able to accept he remembered how his heeku used whine , complain , laugh whenever they went together . Mahi took him to his room and made him sit on the bed .
Mahi : Cheeku u must be hungry na . Wait I bring something to eat u get freshen up .
Vi just nodded , mahi sighed and went to kitchen . He wanted Vi to let out his emotion . He knew Vi needed a outburst otherwise his Cheeku will be lost and then none can bring him back . On the other hand Vi came from washroom he started feeling dizzy , he hold his head from one hand and wall for the support from the other . That's when he realised two strong arms holding him he turned to see ms standing there with concern eyes . Mahi had come with dinner only to see Vi standing with support of wall . He put the plate on table and rushed to him . Mahi made him sit on the bed in half lying position. " cheeku u r fine na ????. Are u feeling dizzy even now ??? What happened to u suddendly ? " asked Mahi worriedly as he cupped Vi face . " I am fine bhai " replied Vi . " When did u ate last ? "asked mahi suspiciously but Vi just sat there quietly looking down Mahi tried again " I am asking something to u Cheeku " . " Yesterday morning " mumbled Vi . Mahi just sighed heavily , he just took the plate and fed Vi with his hand occasionally eating his own . After dinner Mahi made him lie on the bed and sat there massaging his head lightly

Vi just snuggled in him holding his hands tightly and mumbeled something like " I don't wanna sleep . They will come again " making Mahi confused " what r talking about kiddo ??? " asked Mahi not understanding anyhting as he holded Vi more close to him . " night .. nightmares , they r ve...very scary . " replied Vi with shaky voice as he snuggled more in Mahi clutching his t shirt . Mahi understood the nightmares r not letting sleep properly , he was now even scared of sleep .
Mahi ( softly) : ssh just sleep kiddo , I am here just beside u .
Soon Vi slept holding Mahi tightly and Mahi sat there in caressing his hair . First time in his life he felt he failed to protect his kiddo , his Cheeku who happens to be one of the most important person in his life . Words of the team were reverbrating in his mind how can someone not trust his Cheeku . Then he realised he had not talken to Sakshi after coming again . Mahi dialed her number .
Sakshi : hello Mahi how is Cheeku now ???
Mahi smiled at her concern Cheeku was also her baccha , her ladla devar . He can count more than hundred of incidents even in his sleep when these two bhabhi devar ganged up against him .

At first Sakshi was surprised at the sudden confession of love because she knew Mahi is the kind of person who can't convey his feeling for any person in words . It's reflected in his actions . She smiled and replied I love u 2 . They hung up the call and Mahi slept in the sitting positon holding Vi close to him .
In the middle night , Mahi's sleep broke as he felt movement from Vi only to find Vi fidgetting his leg , was shivering badly , his face covered with sweat , mumbling some thing and was clutching the bedsheet tightly with his hands .

Mahi tried to wake him but all went in vain . After few seconds Vi woke up screaming . He was shivering badly taking deep breath , his heart rate was unusually high . He was not regestring anything . Mahi just took him in a tight warm hug to calm Vi down and Vi ended up crying badly . Mahi just sat there rubbing his back muttering sweet nothings and let Vi cry to his heart extent , to let the hurt out in form of tears . He knew a lot was going inside his heart which needed to be let out . Seeing Vi cry like this was breaking Mahi as well but he knew he has to be strong for his Cheeku . " Let it out cheeku everything that is hurting u " said Mahi in his mind . His thoughts were broken as he heard Vi .
Vi ( crying ) : bhai I.. I did... didn't d..do any...anything tr..trust m...me pl...plzzz . Do...Don't plzz dont l...leave m...me al..alone . Vi ( crying badly ) : YES I AM A COWARD . I am the one . But what should have I done ??? I am not this much strong . I can't take it anymore . Vi kept on crying clutching Mahi t shirt after what seems like eternity he calms down hiccuping in between and soon dozes off to sleep . Where as Mahi bhai sat there taking support of wall on his back and caressing Vi's hair who was sleeping on his chest clutching his t - shirt .
