Yoohyeon woke up and saw JiU sleeping on the couch. She felt a blanket over her and looked at it. It had bunnies on it and she laughed at how cute it was. She got up and put it over the angel.
She picked up the book next to JiU to put it on the table and saw JiU's notes. Her notes were filled all the way to the bottom of the page. She picked up the notes and read them. She was so shocked by how much JiU wrote down.
She looked around and saw the others sleeping as well. She decided to do something nice for them today and walked over to the kitchen.
JiU woke up to the smell of bacon and got up happily. She looked at who was cooking and saw Yoohyeon. Sua also could smell food and was up as well. They both looked at Yoohyeon cook.
"Wow, if you do date her, then that's good because you love all food." Sua said. JiU just rolled her eyes and decided to approach Yoohyeon.
"Good morning!" JiU said happily. Yoohyeon not expecting to hear her voice jumped a little and turned around and smiled at JiU.
"Morning! Morning to you too Sua!" She said happily. Sua nodded and sat down at the table where Handong was still sleeping. Sua tapped Handong, but she didn't get up.
"DONGIE!" Everyone who was still asleep got up and everyone who was awake jumped.
"Don't do that Sua!" JiU said while putting a hand to her heart.
"You scared the crap out of me." Siyeon said grumpily. Handong just woke up like nothing happened. Dami just looked at Sua with wide eyes.
"Why did you wake us up like that?" She asked a little annoyed.
"Sorry, I wasn't trying to wake you up." Sua said.
"I think you just woke the whole dorm building with your loud ass voice." Siyeon said. Sua started running towards Siyeon and Siyeon ran away as fast as she could.
JiU and Yoohyeon just looked at the two chase each other and laughed.
"Do you need any help?" JiU asked. Yoohyeon shook her head no.
"Well too bad then." JiU put on her own apron and stood next to Yoohyeon. Yoohyeon feeling a little flustered by this gave the pan to JiU.
"You wanna cook this?" She asked. JiU smiled and nodded excitedly. She loved food. Yoohyeon just smiled and stood next to JiU watching her cook the food.
Once finishing cooking, JiU and Yoohyeon set the table up and everyone surrounded the table.
"Thank you for the food!" They all said. They all went to school. It was a pretty normal day. JiU brought some of the demon books to her own library to read them. She sat down and continued to read. Once school ended, JiU went to the portal to see Gahyeon.
She entered the orphanage and was greeted by Cherry.
"Hi Cherry!" She said while playing with the dog. She picked her up and hugged her.
Gahyeon stuck her head out after hearing JiU's voice.
"Eomma! I didn't know you would be here today." Gahyeon said while hugging JiU.
"Well, I'm here right now." She said happily.
"What are we going to do today?" JiU asked.
"Can we take Cherry out for a walk right now?" She asked cutely. JiU just smiled at the younger girl and nodded. They put a leash on Cherry and decided to walk out.
Gahyeon still doesn't know about JiU being an angel. She just thought that she went off to college which is kind of true in a sense. JiU didn't want to put her in danger.
Cherry started to pull on the leash and barked towards something. JiU looked up and saw a dog that looked similar to cherry and a familiar silver color.
"Pie, stop barking." The girl said to her dog. JiU just smiled and walked up to the silver haired girl.
"We meet again." She said happily. Yoohyeon nodded.
"I shouldn't be surprised anymore." She said while laughing a little. Pie started barking at JiU.
"What's it's name?" She asked while getting down to it's level.
"Her name's Pie. and what about yours?"
"We named her Cherry." Gahyeon said trying to figure out what was going on.
"She's cute." Yoohyeon said while getting down to it's level to pet it.
"It's kind of funny how we keep meeting like this huh?" JiU asked.
"Yeah. It is." Yoohyeon said while smiling. Gahyeon let out an awkward cough.
"So, mind introducing me to her eomma?" Gahyeon asked while looking at JiU.
Yoohyeon just looked at the girl in front of her.
Did that girl just call this black haired girl her mom? Isn't she a bit young?
"I actually don't know her name yet. We kind of just bump into each other, say hi, and then say bye." JiU said while scraping the back of her neck.
"Ah, I'm Y-." Yoohyeon stopped herself from saying her name in front of them. They could be normal people, but it's still dangerous to let her demon name out there.
"I'm sorry what was that?" JiU asked.
"It's Rachel Kim." Yoohyeon said while smiling.
"Rachel? It sounds English. Are you a foreigner?" JiU asked.
"Ya. I came from America." Yoohyeon said trying her best at English. Good thing she studied some English she thought.
"And you are?"
"Minji. Kim Minji." JiU said while smiling.
Yoohyeon looked towards the girl that called JiU her mom.
"What's your name?"
"I'm Gahyeon." Gahyeon said still not knowing what to think of this girl.
"Nice to finally know your name." Yoohyeon said to JiU.
"Likewise." JiU said with a smile. Gahyeon feeling a little awkward told JiU to wait for her for a second. JiU watches Gahyeon disappear for a little bit confused.
"So, Eomma?" Yoohyeon asked.
"Oh." JiU said while laughing.
"I'm not really her mom. We both grew up in an orphanage together and we would pretend to play house. I would pretend to be the mom and she would be the kid." JiU smiles sadly.
"I guess it just kind of became a habit." She said. Yoohyeon felt bad.
"I'm sorry for bringing it up." She said while looking at the ground.
"It's fine. I bet anyone would be confused. I'm only 8 years older than her." JiU said. Yoohyeon nodded. Gahyeon came back with a bag of cherries in her hand.
"I got some cherries!" She said happily. JiU looked at her confused.
"Well, me and Eomma should get going." Gahyeon started to drag JiU and Cherry away from Yoohyeon and Pie. Yoohyeon just stood there confused.
"Good bye? I guess?" She said confused. JiU who heard this whispered a sorry not like Yoohyeon could hear.
When Yoohyeon was out of sight, Gahyeon stopped pulling JiU and stood in front of her.
"So when were you going to tell me?" She asked irritated.
"Tell you what?" JiU asked confused.
"That you were dating someone?"
"I'm not dating her. I only met her three times. This is the first time I even got to know her name." JiU said.
"You can't lie to me Minji." Gahyeon said feeling hurt. Hearing her birth name come out of Gahyeon's mouth hurt JiU a little bit. She had always called her Eomma and hearing her call her Minji felt like they were more distant.
"I see the way you look at her and the way she looks at you. I just wish you would have told me sooner instead of me feeling like a third wheel and feeling like you don't trust me." Gahyeon said. JiU immediately pulled her into a hug.
"I promise you, I don't have any feelings towards her. I like someone else and I promised you that you would meet them." JiU said. Gahyeon just nodded.
"Please don't keep any more secrets from me." She said sadly. JiU's heart broke and she hugged her tighter. She doesn't know if she can keep that promise or not.
She waved goodbye to Gahyeon and made her way towards the portal. She kept thinking on whether she should tell Gahyeon about what she is and who she has a crush on.
She doesn't even know Yoohyeon's Korean name and she doesn't want to put Yoohyeon's life in danger because she said her name. She didn't know what to do.
She remembered how hurt Gahyeon looked when she didn't tell her about Rachel. It really hurt her as well. What was she going to do?
A/N: Since Kim Yoohyeon is her stage name and birth name, I decided to just go with her English name for the sake of it. I hope that doesn't bother too many people.
