Yoohyeon could only stare at Byeong filled with hatred. Her mind flashed back to when she saw JiU lying on the floor again and her anger grew.
Byeong still had a smirk on his face.
"So, why did you come back here?" He asked directing the question towards JiU. JiU tried to ignore him and he got angry.
"I'm talking to you! Show some respect." He walked towards JiU angrily and was about to touch her shoulder to turn her around, but Yoohyeon grabbed his wrist before he could touch JiU.
JiU waiting for him felt nothing and turned around and saw Yoohyeon in between her and Byeong.
"Get out, I'm not talking to you." Byeong said angrily.
"If you have something to say to JiU, then you say it to me too." Yoohyeon said not bothered by him. He tried to ignore Yoohyeon and yelled at JiU.
"Why'd you come back? You want to die again? Cause I'll gladly kill you! Nobody needs angels! They're useless and can't even fight back!" He said. JiU wanted to punch him so badly. She just glared at him.
"Don't say that to JiU!" Yoohyeon yelled at him. Her blue flame appeared and JiU's eyes widened. Byeong also got out his yellow flame again. She quickly called the others.
"Why? What I said was true. You didn't see how weak she was when put up against me!" He said while laughing.
Yoohyeon was about to punch him in the face with her fist. Her horns came out as well. JiU could only think of one thing to do to stop her from losing control.
She wrapped her arms around Yoohyeon and gave the girl a back hug while closing her eyes fearing that it might not work, but it did. Yoohyeon widened her eyes and her horns and fangs went back in. Her flame was still on, but it was less big and bright.
Byeong seeing this just laughed at how pathetic the two were.
"Wow, the only way you can control your form is when this angel touches you?" He asked. He was about to say something else, but JiU went up to him and kicked him hard in the stomach.
"Don't you dare say another word." She said in a low voice. Byeong just fell to the ground and held his stomach while glaring at the angel.
"You'll pay for that." He said while wincing in pain. She just looked at him and smiled.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there." She said. She gave him a little wink and kicked him again causing him to lose consciousness. She looked over to Yoohyeon who just stared at her shocked.
She definitely fell in love even more with this amazing angel.
The two heard footsteps running towards them. Dami, Siyeon, Sua, and Handong appeared. Both of the demons had their fires out while Sua and Handong just looked around frantically.
They all made eye contact with JiU and Yoohyeon and ran over to them.
"Are you okay? Did something happen?" Sua asked worried.
"The place doesn't look burned down and you don't look like you lost control." Siyeon said to Yoohyeon. Dami looked at the body laying next to them and laughed.
"Did you beat the crap out of this dude?" Dami asked while still laughing. Yoohyeon shook her head.
"Actually, JiU did that. I just witnessed it happen." She said while staring at JiU.
"So she got her revenge?" Siyeon asked. JiU who heard everything walked over to them.
"I got my revenge." She said happily. The demons just looked at her shocked. They didn't know that she was listening that whole time.
"What did happen though? JiU texted us saying that you lost control." Yoohyeon looked over towards JiU.
"I don't really know. For one second, I was standing between Byeong and JiU and the next, I felt a warm feeling around my waist and back and when I looked behind me, I saw JiU hugging me." Yoohyeon said.
Dami and Siyeon looked at each other.
"So, she got you back in control?" They asked her. Yoohyeon just continued to admire the girl in front of her.
"I guess so." She said while smiling.
"Whipped." Siyeon and Dami said at the same time. JiU, Sua and Handong grabbed the books and proceeded to check out. Once checked out, the group decided to go to the angel's dorm again.
They started to hangout there usually and it was like their own hangout place.
They all got in and each decided to help Yoohyeon out as well. JiU took the other 5 books and decided to read those while everyone else took one book.
JiU sat down on the couch and stacked the other 4 books on the table while getting ready to read one. She got out her big round glasses and pulled her hair back.
She took out a notebook and pen and started to read. The others looked at her thinking she was weird except for Yoohyeon.
Yoohyeon felt moved seeing how motivated JiU was to learn about her and help her. She decided to sit in front of JiU on the other side of the table and started to read her own book.
Yoohyeon couldn't pay attention though because she kept glancing at JiU. She looked much prettier with the glasses on. She didn't know that she was staring until JiU also glanced up at her.
Once they had eye contact, they both looked away flustered and hid their faces in the book.
Gosh dangit Yoohyeon. Why do you have to look at me like that? JiU asked herself in her head.
Gosh dangit JiU. What are you doing to me? Yoohyeon asked while putting her hand to her chest to feel her heart pound.
After a couple of minutes, JiU finally composed herself and continued to read. She noticed how quiet it was and looked around the living room. She saw Sua's face in a book literally and chuckled.
Handong also fell asleep while reading and Dami and Siyeon were already sleeping before they even picked up their books. JiU just sighed and looked towards Yoohyeon who was surprisingly reading her own book.
"Have you found out anything?" JiU asked. Yoohyeon looked up from her book.
"It's interesting reading about our past." She said and looked back down at her book.
"I didn't think you would actually read." JiU said amused. Yoohyeon looked up.
"I don't pay attention in class because it's boring and people are too loud. I need some peace and quiet at some times." Yoohyeon said.
"I can't relate. I can't stand it on the angel's side. It's too quiet and makes me uncomfortable." JiU said.
"It's interesting seeing how different we are isn't it?" Yoohyeon asked. JiU just nodded and continued to read. One part that did interest her was a thing about demons forms.
There are good and bad demons, but there are demons that are banished from both hell and heaven. These delinquents are those that have done bad deeds or want to do bad deeds. They go to purgatory and forever live in a prison where they can't get out.
JiU looks up at Yoohyeon.
"Hey, have you heard of delinquent demons?" She asked wondering if Yoohyeon knows anything.
"Not really. My teacher keeps talking about us and telling us not to become them, but then I stop paying attention afterwards." Yoohyeon said.
"Figured." JiU said while sighing.
"Why do you ask?"
"It just interests me." JiU said. She continues to read and takes notes on more chapters about forms. She goes to the next book and starts to read about their history of flames.
She read the basics such as which flames are powerful, but one thing that intrigued her the most would be the history of the dark blue flame.
It's rare to have blue flames. Those born with it are the most powerful and are those who are heroes. Most that wield the power of the blue flame are sought after the most by hunters. It's heat is hotter and if they learn more tricks, it can be the most dangerous. Those with blue dark blue flames have two forms.
She continued to read.
The last time there was a blue flame sighting was when a black demon appeared and tried to wipe out humanity. The black demon thought that demons should be the rulers of the world and both heaven and hell. He wants to destroy all. He was sent to purgatory never to be seen again and that was the last sighting of the blue flame and the black demon.
JiU looked up from her book again and stares at Yoohyeon.
"Can I see your flame?" JiU asked. Yoohyeon looked at her confused, but still obliged. The dark blue fire came out of her hand and she just stared at it. She looks towards Dami and remembers that her flame is light blue.
JiU quickly turns to the page talking about the light blue history.
Light blue flames are the second most rarest to have. Their flames burn things quicker than others. Usually these are the most hunted by hunters because it isn't too hard of a challenge like the dark blue ones are. It's still a challenge, but they are easier to kill than a dark blue demon.
There aren't many in the world left. Hunters killed most of them and so did the black demon. Since the light blue flames were the second most powerful, he thought that they would be able to stop him if they teamed up. He killed most of the light blue and all of the dark blue fire demons.
White flames are still very powerful just not in the same way. They are less hot and their flames don't burn as quickly, but it spreads fast and shoots fast as well. Usually they are harder to find. Even though they are powerful, they are probably the least hunted.
Nobody knows who has these flames and who doesn't. It is rare to find because nobody uses it that often.
Yellow flames also burns things easily, but it's slow. The one thing that is an advantage is how bright it can get. Usually demons with yellow flames use this to stun enemies and be able to kill them while they are stunned. Or they can use this to distract others to run away.
JiU jots down a ton of notes circling the yellow flames and the dark blue flames. She looks up and sees the demon asleep and walks over towards her.
She leans towards her and kisses her forehead.
"Goodnight." She said quietly. She goes back to her room and grabs a blanket. She puts the blanket over Yoohyeon and goes back to the couch and continues to read.
