(Ok so for you to understand. This one shot or mini series or how the heck you want to call it is taking place in multiverse that is somewhat similar to NaJ in style that there is no magic. Yes there are monsters ore humans with abilities but most of them get it from cultisitc groups or from mad engineers etc. Anyway This multiverse is differen because there was a war between two nations. "Guardians" and "Balancers" both countries got into war because they leaders wanted to kill each other. After several years of fighting peace sign was made making both countries stop fighting and connect to each other again. Unfortunatly some people stil belive in either "Guardians" or "Balancers" so they made gangs under names "Guardians of the City" "Balancerse of law" Both these gangs attack each other but most importatnly attack civilians at no reasons what so ever making cities dangerous place to anyone mostly in night. Our story will start in midde of "dark age" [aka middle of war] and then we will get to the present. So be ready for story of this Error and his cruel live.)
Error's pov:
Blood, Bodies, Screams, Begs, Depression, Stress, Insomnia, War, Smell of rotting flesh and bones, strict rules, and no hope what so ever.
Yeah that's how would I describe war. Just one big mess. It does not help even when you are second most vauable member of army. Yes This is me non other then the cruel General Glitch or Error if you want to call me by real name.
I work in army for almost two decades. I went from foot solder to most important member of this war in just two years. But I payed for it. I had to went cold and with no remorse what so ever. If you will ever be in war. Remember this. If you want to be general. You must use iron fist, and don't fear to make a sacrifice. But hey. You don't choose you live. Do you?
Winter is even worse when you are in military. Snow always covers your roads. Cars are always cold. You are more probably getting sick from being outside, and everything healing is taking way longer. I know this from other soldiers who whine about this constantly.
I sigh puffing out some air before going to training side seeing some soldiers training. But most of them were on smoking break. I growl getting everyones attention while they jump and quickly put in line. I rolled my sockets before shouting.
"You are all worthless pieces of shits not a soldiers! You were suppose to be killing machines and not some whining bitches! I would say that you are usefull as a bunch of corpses but even those can be bigger threat for our enemy! Now stop whining and give me 20!"
Everyone quickly scramble around and starts to do pushups while I rolled my sockets again before someone tap on my sholder. I turned to other side and saw one of new solders looking at me while shaking in fear before he stuttered out.
"C-captain N-Nightmare w-w-wants to speak w-with y-you." ". . ." "p-please." "Good. Tell him I will be there in few minutes." I told. He nod shakily and quickly ran away making me chuckle. I then turned back to those shit bags and told them to do something usefull and got to ammo storage to check on clips before leaving.
I went to my office and grab liter and pack of cigar before leaving thought back door strait to Nightmares. I walk pass few solders who quickly react and stood back into possition saluting. I salute back while still walking before I stop infron of door. I sigh and knock on them before waiting.
"Come in." I didn't answer and let myself in before closing door behind letting warmth of his place to go thought my bones. "General Error." "Captain Nightmare." We exchanged eye contac before I walk to him and look down at the map of warzone. "Why do you need me so sudden."
"I want to talk with you about plans on attacking Dream's base." "That would be suicide at this point. We don't know anything about it and no one want to give us any informations." I told quietly while looking at clock. "This was takes too long for my liking." "Agree." "Hmm." "I hope I didn't disturb you from something." "No. I was just checking on soldiers." I told.
Even if Nighmare didn't show it. I think he is also scared of me. Not that I'm wrong. I still don't get why he went into war with his brother in first place. Probably for power and his "negativity" or what the hell that even is. I wonder how it makes him stronger anyway. But I should not ask about unnatural powers myself shoud I? No.
"Maybe we could do sneek in and destroy it from inside. We don't need to kill my brother. Even if I want to sometimes. He is still part of family." "It would be possible Nightmare. But we would also risk loosing our best soldiers and without them. We could even loose war." "Good point." Nightmare told looking at map before stabing pin in map.
"Even if we don't know much about ther base. We do know that this is their most vulnerable point." "Mass grave?" "Yes. i notice that every tuesday and friday they send out truck filled with dead boddies there. If we could sneek up inside than we have straid line into their insided from where we could attack." "That could possibly work. But we would need mapping for the base for us to-."
"Captain Nightmare!" Both of us turned around noticing messenger who just ran here. He looked at us and gulped before walking slowly and speaking. "I'm sorry for disturbing you. B-but one of the prisoners just d-died." "WHAT?! HOW!!" Nightmare shouted hitting table harshly. "He someone t-took gun from one guard and shot himself while shouting. "You will never get anything out of me! For the Guardians!" "That bastard." "So there is only one prissoner left." I asked and when I recive nod I chuckle before turning to Nightmare and speaking.
"I guess I will go adn try to get anything out of him myself. If it would be possible find me as much information about him as possible. Leave them in his cell and tied him to chair with chains." I told before leaving.
time skip
I walk thought prisson hearing nothing more then echoes of my steps. When I got to room of prisson #00745 I inhale from my cigar for one last time and threw it into trash before grabbing key and opening door. I notice him sitting on chair so I closed door and turned on light making him hiss before I grab paper and sit on chair infron of him.
"Another try. Tsc. Like I would say anything." "#00745 also called Stretch Rivertone." I saw how his face turned into shocked. Good they didn't screw up at least something. "So Stretch. I will ask you few qu-." "Go to hell with you questions!" He shouted. "Oh really so. Well I knew you would react like this. So what about making a deal." "I'm not trusting someone with blood on his hands." "I could say the same to you." He didn't answered.
". . . About this. If you will tell me all information you know about Dream's base." "Yea and what could be so worth of dumping my fr-." "Freedom." ". . ." "Heheheh. I knew you would be like this. So let me get this straid. If you will tell me everything I want to know. I will make sure you will be able to get back home before christams." "And why would I do that!" "Yes if it makes me to see my brother again. I will." My smile grew like never before. I then place his papers back and grab recorder.
"Now speak up." "Dream's base in between mountain of freedom on north side of country right next to sunshine river. There are two main entrees. One on souths side and other on north side thought mountin. You probably know about corpse system so just get in and when night will hit, go and ran to storage on left side. That way you can get in without any key cards. If you will manage to do so you will need to go thought prison we have in -4 floor." "-4? I thought you had only -3." Stretch shook his skull.
"Dream build it to torture and get informations out of prisoners. Like those two rats we found about two weeks before you took me." "What rats?" "I don't know their names. But from one we took red scarf and from second one we took black sun glasses. They were disguised as civilians that delivered food-." I quickly cut him of when I shoved his skull on table making him his before shouting.
"WHERE ARE THEY!" "I told you -4 floor. They are both in cell #0452 Second hall on left." I growl and let him go before sitting back. "Where do you want to get exacly." "To place from where we can destroy their base." Stretch look up at ceeling before looking back at me and telling. "From prisson get to second floor that were we have ammo storage. There is enought explosives to turn that place into one smoking crater but its heavily guarded." I stop recodring and shoved it into pocket before walking to him and whispering.
"Good boy. Now wait here. I will pack your shit and then get you out of here. Expect to be free in two days." He nod before I chuckle and left. I had to get him his thinks from storage which was hard but few threats made their way in so I take everything. When night falled I walked to his cell and grab him before we left from other side. I walk with him to train station with gun under my coat just in case. I look at him before I gave him suitcase and passport.
"Train will be here in 20 minutes. Go on it and leave. If I will ever see you again in this war. I will send bullet straid thought your fucking skull." "Why are you doing this?" He asked me. I chuckle darkly and turned behind before mumbeling. "I never wanted to be in war in the first place. But I promised to help civilians." Before he could say anything I left.
time skip
"So he is dead?" I nod. "I chase him for almost hour before I shot him with gun in leg. Then I put him out for good. We have everything we needed." Nightmare growl but say nothing. "So we will go like this. Right?" Nightmare nod again. "It seems as a best option. There will go team of six people and-." "Take me." "What?" "Take me there. I know that place most." "That's too dangerouns you are needed here and-." "I don't care. I found out that there are prisoners that need to be set free." "Prisoners?" Nightmare ask not believing me. I nod and gave him recorder. He listen to the recond before he look at me with horrified face. "Fuck you too brother." He mumbled before he stab knive in map and shouted.
"Fine. Have it your way. You will lead that team anyway. Just try not to die." "I've been in front line for 7 months don't tell me how to survive." I told before grabbing my thinks and leaving.
Day D
We woke up in a morning anf check if we had everything. Me and five others got on truck and drive to the given location. We quickly found enemy units there waiting.. We had with corpses already feeling effect of those pills kicking. When I woke up I knew i was still in truck. That smell of rotting flesh and bones was disguesting. But I could survive it. After what seems to be eternitly they stop and dumped us into hole. I wait for little longer before digging out with others. I look up at sky and knew it was night we were out for 5 hours at least. I shook my thought away and helped everyone to get out of grabe before we ran to storage. There were two guards but we took them out quietly before we notice clothing in boxes. We change into their sets so it would be easiter sto slip in before going into halls.
We then ran downstairs to -4 I then turned to my team and whispered. "Alright. I will go and check prison. You two get to second floor and set those explosives. And you three try to make havoc around. Remember that we might not survive this. Stay on touch." "Yes sir." They whisper shouted and left.
I quickly look around and grab my gun before running thought halls. I saw many people in cells. They were starving, hopeless, hurt, with blood everywhere. It made me sick. I ran thought first hall before almost tripping when someone showed up. I quickly got back and look at guards who made tsc and left while mumbeling.
"Fucking retard." I rolled my eyes and glare at second hall. I change my direction there and walk pass cells while looking into them. After while I was ready to gave up when my eye caugh them. I notice guard watching them so I walk over to him and spoke. "Hey man you can take break I will take care of this." "Sorry newbie but I can't let you do that. They must be on watch all the time." "Tsc. These two. Really? What they can do. Glare me to death?!" "Yea. . . no. So ratter go away before. Wait a minute. I never saw you here before."
"Maybe you just missed me." "No. I think I know you. You are that genempff-." I cut him off when wrap arm round his face to muffle him. He tried to grab gun but I kicked him in knee before sending bullet strait thought his head before throwing his corpse on ground. I then grab keys and opened cell before going inside before hearing voice.
"What do you want? We don't know anything." "Geno." Geno quickly looked up before his eyes widen like he would saw ghost before mumbeling. "Error." I nod and quickly walk to them before taking chains from him and Fresh who was still procesing everything. I was ready to say something before Geno hold his ribcage and groan in pain almost falling. "Geno what the hell happend!" I shouted not caring. I look down on his ribs and saw on big slash that was still bleeding.
"Shit." I mumbled. I quickly grab shirt from that dead guy and rip it before using it as make shift gause to stop bleeding. "Fucking damit. Don't worry Geno I will get you both out of here." I mumble. I then glare at Fresh who was more quiet then I remember before Geno told.
"He didn't spoke ever since they took him for day. I don't know what's wrong with him. We fucked it up greatly and-." "I don't care now. I wil lget you both out of this hell hole before it will fall on us." I told before I helped Geno stand up while he used me as support. Frest walked to me and tap on my sholder. I look at him confused before He grab Geno and hold him so I could walk freely. "Thanks." He nod wealky.
I then grab walkie-talkie and reported. "Team one. Are you there. Over." "Team one on the line. Over." "How is it with thosee explosives. Over." "Everything is set up. Over." "How mutch time we have. Over." "This load will explode in 30 minutes. Over." "Great get the hell out of here. Over." "Yes sir. Over." "Team two are you there. Over." "Umm yes sir. Over." "How is the situacion? Over."
"We made havoc so everyone was distraced. Back entrance is opened but we have enemies next to out asses. Over." " Get the hell out of there and try to loose them in forest. Then go back to base and send help. I found our spies hurt. Over." "Yes Sir! Over." I sigh and grab gun before I walk with my brother to elevator. I called it out and hide behind box.
When elevator opened two guards walk out so I quickly jumped up and shot one in head and second one in chest but he didn't died and pinned me to ground. "I gonna rip your teetsh out before force feeding them back you black fu-." He wac cut of with loud gunshot. I then watch how he falled on me with blood oozing from his back. So I shoved him away before looking up only to see Geno holding gun in one hand breathing heavily.
"Don't touch my brother you *huff* fucker." "Thanks Geno." "Let's just get *huff* out of here." "Don't worry help is on the way." I told him before we walk into elevator that took is in second floor. When we got there I helped them to ran thought hall next to exit but but then someone saw us and turned on alarm while I shot him in head.
"FUCK!" I shouted. "There he is! Don't let him get away!" Someone shouted. I ignore them and helped Geno to ran. We shake them off by running into different corridiors before we appear in garage. I helped Geno and Fresh to car ready to hop there myself before someone jumped at me. "Run!" I shouted at them before they stared car and drive away.
I look up at who got me only to smirk. "Well well well. Look who caugh my eyes once more. Did you miss me that much?" "Shut up Error." "Oh Ink. Are you still mad at me for what happend." He didn't spoke. "Guess you still are." I tease only to recive punch in face. "Shut up you morron." "Ouch that almost hurt." I mumbled wiping out some blood from my face."
Ink growl and put gun next to my skull and told. "I could just kill you right here and walk away and you would done nothing about it." "Then why don't you do so!" I shouted. Ink glared at me and lower the gun before letting me go while telling.
"Even if I still hate you for what happened. I can't do so. Those times when were . . .t-together were still my best moments in my live." "So what. You just want to make out with me again!" "You were drunk at the time!" "Same goes with you." I told crossing my arms. Ink huff before glaring at car. "Leave before I change my mind." "I would advise you the same. This place will go down in 10 minutes. There is enought plastic explosive to turn this place into new Grand Canyon."
"The-The WHAT?!" Ink screamed with gun up in air while I nod. "You are fucking psycho." "Tell that to those that died in prison!" "What prisson?" Ink ask me cufused while I blink. "Aren't you suppose to be General!" "Yes But I never heared about fucking prison in here!" "Are you fricking kidding- grr. What ever go with me or die in here. I don't care." I told hopping in car. Ink was thinking for few second before he hop into car while I found keys taped on ceeling. I rip it out of tape and stared up before driving thought gate to the nearest village.
Ink sigh leaning agains glass before mumbeling. "I want this war to end." "Yea. It takes too long." I mumbled while looking at road. "Found anyone yet?" Ink nod. "I dated with Dream so far. At first he was kind and all. But in past months. He become toxic as hell. Maybe I should just break up with him." ". . .Look Ink. I know you still hate me a lot after that makeout in hotel room and I get it. But I think you should break up with him. If he is really like this. Than he is no better than me."
Ink hummed looking at his gun before asking. "And what about you. Did you found anyone?" I shook my skull. "I didn't even try. I was so into work that I forgot. And when I had free time. I try to help civilians. Something that Nightmare hated." "Oh."
I was driving for another ten minutes before Ink break the silense. "You think that I hate you because of your side. Right?" I didn't answered. "If so. Then let me tell you that it isn't because of that. I'm. . . I'm still kinda mad at myself for what happened. Maybe if we would not drink so much. Heheh." "Yea. How is he anyway." "Fine. For the most part. I meet him last week. 9 years old already." "Wow. Time goes really fast." "Yea. He don't know about you. He just know that you are alive and his biological father. Anything like job or your look. I didn't told him." "I think it was for the best."
"Ink. I don't know if I'm able to say this but I-." "WATCH OUT!" "Wha-." I was cut of when other car hit into us with crash. Both of us groaned before we get out of car while i falled on my knees rubbing my forehead with blood dripping of it. I walked to car and notice two soldiers poiting guns at Ink. I glare at their uniforms and saw that they were from his side. What is going on?
"What are you doing. Put those guns down idiots!" "We are sorry General. But this is order from Captain." "That bastard." Ink then grab gun and shot one in in leg and then in chest other quickly got grip on gun ready to execute Ink but I jump on him and stab him in knive in neck before shooting him in chest two three times. I falled on ground with him.
"Error. Are you alright!" Ink shouted helping me to get up." "Nghh. Y-yea just a hit from crash. What did they want?" "I think Dream wanted to break up with him and this is his type of break ups." "Oh." "We should get out of here before-."
"*cough* *cough*." We turnet behind us and notice that one soldier Ink shot in chest with smile and blood escaping his mout before he hold grenade and took out safety. "Burn in hell. F-*cough* Fucker."
"Get the hell out!" I shouted shoving Ink back while I tried to run before grenade exploded. Everything was blurry. My ears were rining and I was slowly falling asleep. I looked up and saw someone talking into something or maybe shouting. I don't know. They then kneeled to my level and starts to shake with me. I think they try to say something. But I didn't hear them right. I hear my name calling. Why are they calling it? Maybe I will just get some rest. . .
