Once upon a time long ago
A Lion was sleeping at peace,
But a small Mouse came playing
And hiding behind trees.
He jumped on the sleeping Lion
The lion woke up full of rage,
And threatened the Mouse to kill him
But melted to see his small age.
The Mouse asked for forgiveness
And requested for some mercy,
"Spare me King and I will
Come to your service for free."
But the Lion let him go simply
And the Mouse marked his owing,
"I will surely help you whenever
You'll need me, My Great King."
Then after sometime when he grew
Stronger and The Lion was rather old,
The Lion was caught by a hunter
And he was almost there to be sold.
But his cries were heard by the Mouse
Who was nearly passing by,
He ran for his rescue because
To the Lion belonged that cry.
He came and chewed all the net
To save him from the danger,
Then they became best friends
From some enemies and strangers.
Here we learnt a lesson that
We shouldn't be cruel to anyone,
And if we are the strongest in all
A helping hand is better than a gun.
