Pony's POV
No.. no.. no. NO!
She's going to hurt her.
I can't let Zizzy get hurt just like I let everyone at the factory get hurt.
Zizzy is my everything, I can't let that happen.
"We need to go after them!" I told Poley.
"Shouldn't we tell the others first?" he suggested.
"We don't have time!" I started running after TSP.
Poley followed suit.
We followed them to Settlement 6.
All of my uneasiness went away, Zizzy was in danger.
I could only think of hugging her once we were safe, getting her away from Willow's clutches.
What could that insane, wretched witch be doing to my girl?
Zizzy means the world to me, I can't let that monster hurt her.
I picked up some scissors to break the fence in front of the refinery.
"Pony, I know why you're stressed, but we need to be able to think straight. Calm down, take two deep breathes. I'll take care of things in the meantime," Poley said as he took the scissors away from my hands.
He was right. I took four deep breaths and then went inside the facility.
The guards mostly let us be.
They all seemed tired, Willow must've been overworking them.
By the end, we managed to find Zizzy with little hassle.
"Poley, Pony! You've got no idea of how many infected I've beat up," Zizzy smiled.
"Oh, Zizzy! Thank goodness you're alright!" I was too relieved to express with words.
Zizzy chuckled.
"Good to see you, Ziz," Poley waved his hand slightly.
"Alright ley's head home," I grabbed Zizzy's' hand.
"Hold on, I think I got scratched by something.... oh," she had a huge bite mark on her arm.
My heart shattered.
"Th-That's not from an infected... is it?"
"You.. you guys need to leave," Zizzy said, with an expressionless face.
She looked away.
"But.. but we can get you help!"
"What help, Pony?"
"We can cure you, we can save you!"
"If there was a cure we wouldn't be here in the first place!" Zizzy cried, "You don't want to see me turn into one of them, so go."
Poley placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Take care, Ziz. We'll miss you," he started crying as well.
My glasses weren't clean anymore. I was crying so much I couldn't see.
"Zizzy.. I love you," I kissed her on the cheek.
"I.. I love you too, Pony," she smiled one last time and wiped her tears, "Stay safe, Poley. Take my hat, and tell Zee and Zuzy they mean the world to me."
Poley placed Zizzy's hat on my head, "We need to go now."
I hesitantly walked out with him, sobbing all the way to the Safe Place.
We were both extremely silent.
Zee's POV (Zee's the one with the light pink dress)
I heard the door to the outside world open.
"Zizzy's here!" I cheerfully ran up to them.
Pony feel down on his knees.
"Where's Ziz?" I asked.
"She's.. she's infected," Poley informed us.
"Zizzy's gone?" were the only words that crossed my mind.
Mimi and Giraffy went to comfort Pony while Poley sat down and told Y/N, Georgie, Zuzy and I how it happened.
I couldn't believe it.
How could someone do that to another survivor?
Especially when we need to help each other; now more than ever.
Whoever imprisoned Zizzy has to be the most evil person I've ever heard of.
