I sighed. Now we have to go back.. Hound Dog will want an explanation.. Izuku and I ran over towards Hound Dog, Ectoplasm, and Gentle Criminal. "Midoriya Izuku.. I am glad that you were the one I got to trade blows with last." I frowned and narrowed my eyes. "All the blame lies on me." Is he really giving up? "So please, pardon Aiba Manami." I doubt they will be able to pardon her, after all of that bragging he did about her code that could supposedly break U.A's security.. Izuku had filled me in on their plan while we ran back. "What about your injures?" "Were you fighting?" Asked Ectoplasm. "I realized that he was going to try and break into U.A, so we had a small disagreement." "But.. it's fine now." Ah. He's lying so that the festival can go on. I thought as Aiba sobbed. Hound Dog lifted his head as a phone rang. Ectoplasm answered. "Hound Dog, Ectoplasm C, any irregularities?" I heard the voice of Snipe on speaker. The clones looked at each other, but Hound Dog grabbed the phone. "Some video streamer who was being a nuisance wants to turn himself in." Hound Dog answered. "What the heck?" Snipe said. "I don't get it either!" "Huh?" He threw the phone back to Ectoplasm. "Anyway, this is not an emergency." I sighed in relief. The festival won't be canceled! "Please continue to be vigilant. "You can tell us more at the police station!" Hound Dog yelled at Gentle. "Midoriya Izuku." "I was once in the hero course as well." Gentle Criminal spoke. "Gentle Criminal is the mere shadow of someone who was once a hero dropout." "I'm in no position to say this, but I hope your feelings reach those you want them to reach." He was escorted away by three Ectoplasm clones, and Hound Dog. "All Might was worried." We turned, and one of Ectoplasms clones gestured. "Class A's performance starts at 10,right?" "Right now, it's 9:16..9:17." He looked at his watch. "Well, from here, you can get to school in fie or six minu-" "Um, sorry, I left the bag of things I came out to buy.." Izuku started sprinting back the way we came. "Where is it? I'll go with you." Ectoplasm said, following us. "Thank you!" I exclaimed.
As we ran to U.A's entrance, I saw Aoyama waiting for us. "Midoriya, Moon, you're late!" He walked towards us, holding Izuku's outfit, and the outfit's jacket I had left behind. "Aoyama, Sorry!" Izuku exclaimed. "Why are you so beat up?" He asked with a face. "I fell!" I sighed at the quick lie. "You clumsy boy, here change your clothes you two!" "Everyone's waiting!" I smiled, and we grabbed the outfits. "Thank you!" We dashed to U.A. "Wait, those scratches!" Ectoplasm ran after us. "Do you plan to perform covered in dirt?" "If you do, then everyone will be worrying about you rather than enjoying the show." I looked at my clothes, which only had a bit of dirt on them compared to Izuku's face. "You'll still make it even if you get those healed first, right?" We changed course, heading to Recovery Girl. She healed Izuku, and we borrowed clothes to rinse off the dirt on our skin. "Thank you!" I bowed to Recovery Girl, then ran after Izuku to the gym.
Performance We all stood on stage as the curtains opened, with our hand raised. The lights dimmed, and Bakugo raised his drumsticks into the air. "Let's go, dang it!" He shouted. "Let's make the opening showy!" Added Kirishima. "All of U.A.." "We'll kill 'em with our sound!" He screamed, an explosion erupting into the air, creating a wave of dust. The music started, the sound blaring to life. "What am I to be?" Jirou sang. We swayed to the music, our dance practice coming in handy. The crowd cheered as we jumped into the air, landing flawlessly. Izuku ran to Aoyama, green sparking around him as he threw him up into the air. Lasers flashed around Aoyama, filling the air with an aura of blue.
Ojiro caught Aoyama, tossing him back to his feet. Izuku ran backstage, and I braced myself as the next part came. Todoroki and Sero shot tape from the top of the gym, and streamers shot out from Momo's arm as she created them.
We danced on the ice bridge way created by Todoroki, high above the crowd.Tsu swung Ochaco by her tongue, and Ochaco reached out to the crowd. Those she touched floated up into the sky by her quirk. Rainbow light flickered down from the ceiling, turning Hagakure into a whiteish-rainbow outline.The crowd cheered as we threw our hands up in the air, the music dying out.
"It's fine to be late, but please answer your cellphone.." All Might scolded Izuku. "I was in such a hurry.. I left without my cellphone.." I tried not to laugh as Izuku scrolled through his missed calls list, showing more than 20 missed calls from All Might. Wow.. he was really worried! "I have a rough idea of what happened from Ecto's report." I looked towards Hound Dog as he approached. "Don't think what you did was 'correct'." Hound Dog leaned into Izuku's face. "You weren't really injured, and in the end, the school festival is continuing." "But that's just the result!" "You're heroes with a provisional license and U.A students." If you were going to fight, you should've relied on us!" "We have things we need to protect, too!" Hound Dog stood up. "Yes." I said, and Izuku whispered. "Why do you look so gloomy?" Hound Dog asked. "Get out of here!" "If the festival is going to continue, then make sure you enjoy it!" I smiled. I ducked as Hound Dog swung out his arms, and Izuku ran. "Wait up!" I yelled to him. I increased my pace as I heard Hound Dog grab All Might and howl.Gym Gamma"Hey, good work!" Togata said to us as we walked in. "You know what?" Eri stepped forwards. "At first there was a loud noise and it was scary, but then everyone was hopping with the dance and then there was a flash and Deku, you went away!" She's smiling.. I grinned at her expression. "--but then it got cold and then there was a spinning light, and a girl's voice said 'wow' and I said wow too.." I looked to the side, where Izuku was wiping away his tears. Eri paused as she looked at Izuku. "I'm glad you had a good time." Izuku said, and I nodded. Eri smiled at us. "You shouldn't be!" "Are you slacking off now after being late?" I frowned at Mineta's words. "Carry this!" He held up the ice. "Oh, sorry! I'll take it!" Izuku grabbed it. "Take mine, too!" I grabbed Aoyama's cart of ice. I walked to the huge sink and dumped the ice in, as Bakugo melted the ice with his nitroglycerin explosions. People walked past, waving and shouting compliments. "We had a lot of fun!" Two general education students came up to us, and shouted. "Sorry!" "We watched it to criticize it!" They admitted. "We're really sorry!" They shouted as they ran away. It seems that even the general education classes liked it.. I smiled. "I wonder if they're some of the people Aizawa-sensei were talking about who were stressed." Probably.. most general education kids tried to get into the hero course first, right? "If they were, then Iida, our feelings reached them!" Iida nodded. "But no matter what their reason, it was because they watched us!" "I'm sure there are those who didn't watch." "Let's not let this end today and let our feelings--" Iida was cut off by another student. "It's fine." "We heard about what you guys wanted to do when you planned this." He gave us a thumbs up. "We got it." "Now, we'll tell the others." Another said. "I mean, it really was fun!" A girl spoke to her friend. "Those of us who watched it will pass on your feelings." They assured us. "That'll be great!" Ashido elbowed Jirou. "Thank you for your kindness!" Iida bowed. Bakugo walked forwards. "I don't like it.. find the guys that didn't watch and bring him here!" He was restrained by Ojiro. "It's fine, stop that." "Hurry up and finish cleaning up all the ice!" Mineta ran with his bucket, quickly dumping it into the sink. "Oh, sorry!" Kirishima apologized. "Mineta, you've been on edge this whole time." Mineta turned, glaring. "If we don't hurry.. then we won't be able to get good seats for the beauty pageant!" He yelled.Beauty PageantThe crowd cheered as Kendo karate chopped the board, demonstrating her martial arts."How dull, you don't know anything do you?" A voice rang out. "To try and compete with me with that!" A huge statue head colored gold rolled out onto the stage, accompanied by rose petals.
"Support course third year and beauty pageant queen!" The announcer narrated. "She uses advanced techniques to show off her face!" I watched as the golden face spun around on the stage. "What kind of performance is this?" Eri asked. Good question.. "Dazzling splendor is the goal of beauty!" The blonde haired woman stood on top of her contraption. Letting out a laugh, she retreated off-stage. "Next, we have third year, Nejire Hado!" Nejire descended from the sky wearing a blue feathery dress. Smiling, she floated up into the air, leaving behind her a trail of golden electric sparks. Wow.. She drew a rose in the air, and the mist dissipated as she landed. People started to leave as the voting screen appeared, the pageant finished. "Woo-hoo!" "Tonight's gonna be great!" Yelled Mineta. "Class C's haunted maze looks crazy!" "Wanna go?" Added Kaminari. "Yeah!" Replied Ashido. "I'm not going to that." Jirou shot down the idea. "There's an obstacle course!" Kirishima said. "Crepes!" Ochaco bounced. "We've still got a lot to enjoy!" Said Togata. "Yeah!" Eri smiled. I smiled back. We wandered the festival, looking at all of the attractions, playing games and making food. When the results of the beauty pageant came back, we smiled up as Hado was announced the winner and she was given a crown and pink sash. As the sky turned orange, we headed towards the gates. "Thanks for today!" "It was fun!" Izuku told Eri. "Yeah." Eri said shyly. "Eri-chan." Eri looked up at us. "Surprise!" Izuku held up the candy apple. "A candy apple!" Togata exclaimed. "They were selling them?" "I couldn't find any!" He said. "I looked at the program and didn't see anyone selling them, so Izuku bought ingredients and I helped make them!" I explained. "They aren't that hard to make." Eri smiled as she bit into the candy apple. "Well, you should be able to see her again soon." Aizawa said. "It's even sweeter!" Eri giggled. We smiled. "We'll make them again!" Izuku said. "Look forward to it!" I added. "I will!" Eri grinned.
