I heard the school bell ring. School's finally over I thought. I began putting my notebooks and pencils away as Yumi walked towards your desk.
"I literally don't understand chemistry at all," Yumi said. "Can I come over after practice and ask your brother for help?"
"Ah, sorry but I have work today right after."
"Aw okay okay. Well, let's head on over to the gym."
When we stepped on the court, we noticed that the volleyball guys were still there. "Oi aniki*, get off the court, it's our turn to practice."
"Okay okay. Come on guys, let's take down the net." Kuroo said.
As they were taking down the net, Yumi and I headed towards the locker room to change. I put on my basketball shorts and a black t-shirt. I changed into my basketball shoes and tied my hair up in a ponytail. We headed back out on the court and all the guys have left. "Oi first years, hurry up and get changed before Coach Ito gets here. He'll make us run if we start late." I yelled. I then grabbed a basketball and started shooting around.
*Aniki is slang for older brother
Timeskip to after practice
"Nice job everyone. Just a reminder that we have a game after school on Friday" said Coach. We all changed back and I headed towards the door.
"Bye everyone. Good job today and I'll see you all tomorrow at practice. Make sure you put all the balls away." I started walking towards the cat cafe I work at. I took out my phone and noticed that Kuroo had texted me.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards the back of the cafe. I decided to work there because it's so cute and I love cats.
I put my school bag in my locker and changed out of my uniform into a t-shirt and leggings. I took my apron that was hanging and slipped it over my head. I headed back into the cafe and began changing the litter boxes. "I love cats but I don't think I can stand smelling this everyday" you mumbled to yourself. I heard the bell ring as a group of elementary kids walked in. One of the kids tried to grab the cat but the cat hissed and scratched his hand.
"Ow! What the heck!" I rushed over to him to put a band aid over the cut.
"Hey, you shouldn't grab the cats. They get scared too you know." I told him. He grumpily apologized. When I finished putting on the band aid, I looked at the boy and his eyes widened.
"Woah! Your eyes are purple" he shouted. All the other customers looked over at us" I chuckled and nodded.
"Now, can I get you guys something to drink?"
After the cafe closed, the Okada-san called us all over. "Nice work today everyone. I got a notice that we will be hosting an event with the owl cafe in Shibuya this weekend to raise some more money. We will have a small pop up cafe over the weekend in Shinjuku. I know it's far from here but I'd really appreciate it if all of you could make it."
"I can make it," you said.
"I can also make it Okada-san," Kimura-chan said.
"Okay, thank you Kuroo-san and Kimura-san. I'll add you to the groupchat later."
I looked at Kimura-chan and smiled. She was my favorite co-worker at the cafe. I took off my apron and walked out of the cafe. As I was on the train home, I got a notification.

I was studying when I got a notification on my phone. Y/n Kuroo? Maybe she's related to that guy Bokuto is friends with, I thought.
"Keiji-kun, can you help me wash the dishes?" my mom said. I got up and walked down to the kitchen.
"Mom I'm going to be working over the weekend. On Sunday I'm going to be in Shinjuku and then staying over at Bokuto's friend's house in Nerima."
"Okay, just make sure you finish your homework and get enough sleep." my mom replied. I nodded and started washing the dishes.
Your POV
As the train was slowing down, I got up and then exited the train. I walked out of the station and began walking home. When I stepped inside, I smelled curry.
"KUROO! I THOUGHT I ASKED YOU TO MAKE UDON NOT CURRY YOU-"
"OI OI SHUT UP. I made curry udon y/n, now go get changed. It's almost ready."
I rolled my eyes and headed into my room. I changed because I had cat fur all over my clothes. I put on a hoodie and some sweatpants. I walked back into the kitchen and sat down across from Kuroo.
"Over the weekend I'll be in Shibuya for work. I'll come back home at night though." Kuroo just nodded and continued to eat. "So who's coming over on Sunday?" I asked.
"I literally told you already but the captain and setter from Fukurodani and Kenma. You can invite Suzuki-san if you want."
"Yay!! Oh also I have a game on Friday." I replied.
"I can try to go to your game. Is this for a spot at nationals?"
"Yah, and we're playing Nohebi Academy. I heard they weren't that great though and we're only playing then cause the ref favored them. We should be able to win, coach has been making us practice a lot."
"Okay, I'll ask Kenma to go but no promises." I laughed and finished up my noodles.
