"Mom? Mama?" You call out as you step out of your bedroom, tears falling down your face after you had the most horrific nightmare. You were tied up and you were forced to watch as your parents were murdered in front of you, you had to listen to their screams. You need them now more than anything, but they aren't here.
You flick the lights on to light up the dark hallway and you make your way to their bedroom.
"Mom? Mama?" You ask but you didn't get a reply, so you flick the light on to see their bed empty.
Of course they're not here. They're never here anymore. Work is all they care about.
You whimper and run back to your room, grabbing your phone.
03:21 am
The numbers shine back at you almost taunti You call both of your Moms but they don't pick up, so you text them but they don't reply. You don't want to be alone right now, so you call your Aunt.
She picks up
"Hello?"
Her voice is groggy which makes to you feel guilty. "A-Auntie Lizzie?"
"Y/N? What's wrong, sweet girl?"
You sniff back your tears but Lizzie hears it.
"I'm coming over." She says instantly when she hears your sniff.
You try to contain your sobs when you realise your Aunt cares more about you than your own mothers do. You what her shuffling on the other end of the phone and soon you hear a car door shut.
"What's wrong, Babygirl?"
"They're never here." You sob. Lizzie sighs sadly, making a note to smack her sister when she sees her next.
"When did you see them last?"
"L-Last week." Your voice trembles.
Your Moms have been extremely busy over the last year with their company. They are never home and the only time you see them is when they come home for showers and a change of clothes, but still they're only there for half an hour before they leave again. They miss out on everything. School meetings. Holidays. Your birthday.
You're so alone it's physically hurting,
"Why are you crying, sweetheart?"
"I had a bad dream." You sniff. "I watched them die."
"Oh, Y/NN, it's not real. I know they're never around, but they aren't dead."
"It seems like it." You cry out. "What did I do wrong?" You burst into tears. "Why do they hate me?"
"You have done nothing wrong, Y/N, you hear me? You are perfect in every single way and I
won't listen to you blame yourself for your parents doings. You are so amazing and if your Mom's want to choose work over you, then they are stupid. This isn't your fault, Y/N, I promise you that."
"I'm so alone!" You sob your heart out.
Lizzie feels a tear roll down her cheek but she wipes it away quickly.
"I'm here, Princess. I'll always be here."
You continue cry helplessly whilst you wait for your Aunt, who runs into the house a few minutes later. Lizzie rushes up the steps, taking two at a time and she hangs the phone up. She bursts into your room and falls onto the floor with you, pulling you into her arms and letting you cry against her.
"I've got you, Princess. I'm here. I'm here." Lizzie coos and strokes your hair. "I'm not leaving."
"I'm sorry." You cry against her chest.
"You have nothing to be sorry about. I'll do anything for you, you know that. You're my niece, I love you like you are my own, Y/NN. I will always be here for you. Always." Lizzie tells you.
Lizzie holds you for the next hour whilst you cry. She soothes you until your cries turn to sniffs and then you're quiet laying in her arms.
"Do you want to come stay with me for a while?" She asks you.
"I don't want to be a bother." You whisper, your voice hoarse from crying.
"You're never a bother." Lizzie assures and kisses your forehead. "Come stay with Auntie Hope and I, Y/NN. You don't deserve to be alone anymore."
"Are you sure Auntie Hope won't mind?" You ask insecurely.
"Are you kidding me? Auntie Hope adores you." Lizzie chuckles. "She doesn't get cuddles anymore since Hayley went to college, so I'm sure she'll be giving you lots of them. What do you say?"
"Ok." You agree.
Lizzie smiles and kisses your head. "Pack a couple bags then, sweetie, I'll go make you up a hot chocolate."
"What about my car?" You ask.
"We'll come get it tomorrow." Lizzie reassures.
"Ok."
Lizzie stands up and pulls you up with her, grabbing a tissue and wiping your face clean. "Beautiful."
You smile slightly and kiss her cheek before going into your closet to pack some clothes.

"Do you want to sleep in here or with-"
"Can I sleep with you?" You ask before she can finish.
"Sure, baby. Why don't you go freshen up a bit and then meet me in there?" Lizzie asks.
"Ok." You say before wondering into the en suite bathroom.
Lizzie walks back into her own room and sits on the bed, gently shaking her wife awake. Hope groans and her eyes flutter open.
"Liz?" She grumbles. "What's wrong?"
"It's Y/N." Lizzie says which makes Hope spring up.
"Is she okay?!" Hope exclaims worriedly. "Is she hurt?"
"She's not hurt, she's ok physically." Lizzie reassures and rubs her wife's shoulders.
"What's wrong then?" She asks.
Lizzie explains everything to Hope, from Josie and Penelope not being around to you being here with them.
"I'm gonna kill them." Hope growls. "What the hell is wrong with them?"
"I don't know." Lizzie sighs. "We have to focus on Y/N before we say anything to them though."
"You're right." Hope sighs. "She can stay here as long as she wants, she knows that."
"She doesn't though. She's so insecure now, it's heartbreaking." Lizzie whispers.
They hear a quiet knock on the door.
"Come in, Princess." Lizzie calls.
You slowly open the door and shyly walk in, lingering by the doorway. Hope gets up and walks over to you, pulling you into a motherly embrace and shutting the door.
"You stay here for as long as you want, little one. We won't ever turn our backs on you." Hope reassures. "You're our family, always and forever."
"Thank you, Auntie Hope." You whisper.
"Come on, you must be exhausted." Hope coos and pulls you over to the bed.
You climb into it and cuddle under the blankets. Your Aunts coo at you before joining you in bed and wrapping their arms around you.
"Go to sleep, sweetheart, we've got you." Lizzie whispers before you fall asleep.

"See you later." You kiss your Aunts cheeks happily before leaving the house for school.
It's been a month since you started living with them and you're so much happier already. They give you so much love and it's the best thing ever. They don't get mad at you and snap at you like your Moms used to do. They're just perfect.
"I'm gonna go talk to my sister." Lizzie grumbles and stands up from her chair.
"Want me to come?" Hope asks and wraps her arms around Lizzie's waist.
"No, I don't want you there when I throw her out the window." Lizzie says playfully and leans down to kiss Hope. "I'll text you when I get there."
Hope smiles and kisses her again. "Good luck."
Lizzie quickly drives to her sisters office and marches her way through the building, taking the elevator to the top floor.
Lizzie bursts into Josie's office and slams the door shut which makes her sister look up in shock.
"Liz? What are you doi-" before Josie can finish her sentence, Lizzie is slapping her around the face as hard as she can.
Josie's head swings to the side and her cheek immediately starts to bruise. She cries out in pain and holds her cheek, looking up at her sister with wide eyes.
"You crazy bitch!" Josie exclaims. "What the hell was that for?!"
"That's for Y/N." Lizzie growls. "How is she, by the way?"
Josie frowns angrily. "Why the hell should I tell you?"
Lizzie laughs sarcastically. "You're a horrible person, your wife included!" She shouts.
"What's going on in here?" Penelope asks and walks into the office with a frown, shutting the door.
"She bursted in here and slapped me!" Josie snaps.
"Why would you do that?" Penelope growls and walks over to her wife to see if she's alright.
"Y/N's self harming." Lizzie tells them which makes them look up.
"What?" Josie asks.
"You heard me. You wouldn't know that though because you haven't seen her in a month. Did you even know she's been saying with Hope and I for a month now?" Lizzie asks. The parents frown slightly. "Oh my god. You didn't know your daughter wasn't at home?" Lizzie asks in shock. "For the last year, the two of you haven't been there for her. You have prioritised work over Y/N and because of that you've made her feel so
alone that she cut herself. Your own daughter. She thinks it's her fault you're never around, she blames herself, because she thinks she isn't good enough. Your daughter has depression and anxiety and trust issues because of you. You two are the reason your daughter hates herself. You left her alone for a year and then you didn't even
know she moved out. Y/N think that Hope and I love her more than you do, and to be honest I'm pretty sure we do. Because whilst you two have been working, we've been making sure she doesn't kill herself!" Lizzie shouts at them, loving the guilty expressions that fall on their faces.
"Lizzie-"
"You're the reason Y/N wants to kill herself." Lizzie growls. Tears flow down their cheeks at Lizzie's words.
"We didn't mean to." Josie sobs.
"Don't give me that 'we didn't mean to' crap, because I don't want to hear it. You've damaged your daughter so much and I hope she never forgives either of you, because you don't deserve an amazing daughter like Y/N. She will blossom without you two. I love you, Josie, but you're a terrible mother. You too, Penelope. Some people
aren't made to be parents, and that applies to you two. You're both pathetic." Lizzie spits out before storming out of the office leaving the two mothers crying.

"I'll get it." Hope calls as she hears the doorbell,
She opens to door to see Penelope and Josie standing there. She rolls her eyes and goes to shut the door but Josie stops it with her hand.
"Hope, please." Josie begs. "We wanna see Y/N."
Hope glares at them and shakes her head. "You two disgust me."
Josie flinches and Penelope clenches her jaw.
"Auntie Hope, who's at the door?" You ask and walk over to her.
You peer over her shoulder and your face hardens when you'd really your parents.
"What do you want?" You ask them.
"We're so sorry, Y/N. We wanna talk, please." Your Mama, Penelope, begs.
"You don't have to if you don't want to, Babygirl." Hope tells you.
"I know." You say before looking back at them. "5 minutes."
Hope sighs but opens the door further and allows them in. The three of you go into the living room and sit down on the couches. They go to sit next to you so you get up and sit on the other couch.
"Are you gonna talk or are you just gonna sit there?" You ask.
"Y/N, we are so sorry for everything we've done. We're the worst parents in the whole world. We prioritised work over you and we broke you, we don't expect you to forgive us, we front deserve it. But we are so sorry for leaving you behind, for not being there for you, for making you think we don't love you. We will always, always love you because you're our little girl." Josie tells you, tears dripping down her cheeks.
"You're right, you did break me." You agree. "How do you expect me to ever forgive you for that? You're the two people in the world who are supposed to love me and protect me with all your hearts, but here we are."
Josie covers her face with her hands and cries into them.
"We don't expect you to forgive us, Y/NN, but we are going to do everything we can to make this up to you. No matter how long it takes, we will make you realise you are our world, even though we made you think otherwise. We aren't going to work as much and we're going to fix this family. We're not going to stop until you're home in
our arms again." Penelope says sincerely.
"I'm not coming home any time soon." You tell them, ignoring the crack in your heart as your Mom sobs painfully.
"I'm so sorry!" Josie sobs.
"I know." You say. "Maybe some time on the future I'll forgive you for what you've done, but I can't right now. It hurts way too much just looking at you two."
"I'm not going back to work until you're home, Y/NN, I don't care if that means I don't work for another four years or ever again." Your Mom tells you. "We never should of turned our backs on you."
"You should go now." You tell them and stand up. They also stand up.
"Can I hug you? Please? I don't know when I'll get to see you next." Josie begs.
You sigh and give her a silent nod. Josie immediately worse her arms around you but you don't hug her back, your arms just stay at your sides. You can't help but inhale her lavender scent though. You pull away a few seconds later and let your Mama hug you.
"We love you so much, Y/N." Penelope tells you and pulls away.
"I know. I love you guys too." You whisper. "Go."
Penelope and Josie tell you they love you one more time before walking out of the room. They see Hope and Lizzie standing by the front door. Penelope walks out of the house but Josie stops.
"Lizzie." Josie whispers brokenly.
Lizzie sighs and hugs her sister. "I know, Jo."
"Look after my baby girl." Josie's voice cracks as more tears fall from her eyes.
"I will, I promise." Lizzie reassures.
They hug for a while before Lizzie pulls away.
"I promise." Lizzie whispers which makes Josie nod slightly.
"Thank you." She says before leaving.
Hope and Lizzie walk into the living room and join you on the couch, wrapping you up on their arms.
"Are you okay, baby?" Lizzie asks.
"I think so." You reply. "I'm not alone anymore."
"Never again, little one." Hope reassures and kisses your temple. "I say we order takeout and watch a movie. Sound good?"
"Sounds perfect."
