Peter Pettigrew betrayed his crew, his Captain, and it didn't take a genius to figure it out.

Now, let's recall the last things I told you. Apparently, all of you thought it was some sort of cliffhanger? Whatever that means...

After a short while, the entire crew was awake and informed that they had to leave immediately.

Of course, the crew was not told of any thing Princess Bellatrix Black has told them. Only Remus Lupin and Frank Longbottom were the exception.

"It's absurd," commented the first mate of the Snitch once he was told.

Frank couldn't speak. Instead, he nodded in reply to what Remus said.

They were walking to their ship, not knowing what they were going to find that was going to surprise them.

While I tell you this tell, I will inform you that we have two conflicts in this tale of pirates and royalty. After all, it is about two sides instead of only one side.

"We'll be fine, won't we?" whispered Lily to the Captain. They were far behind the rest of the crew where the crew cannot see them.

He squeezes her hand in reply, hoping that the answer was enough for now.

When they reached where the ship was standing on the water waiting for them, they heard some of the crew members' gasps and words of shock.

The Captain made the princess hide with her brother crouched down in the middle of the crowd so nobody could see her and her vibrant-colored hair.

The Captain of The Snitch made it forward and glared, clenching his jaw instead of letting it drop to the ground from slight shock.

"Hello, Captain Potter."

You might notice how the Captain protected his red-haired lover. You might notice how the second mate of the The Snitch protected his sister by hiding with her.

That's one thing both gentlemen - excuse me, pirates - had in common, wasn't it? Both pirates had the aim to protect the red-haired princess in case this was some sort of trap or attack that could harm her.

You are probably impatient about who said the last words I recently told you, but remember that sometimes you have to be patient on the situations that seem like you can't even do that. Patience is a virtue. At least that was what I was taught when they forced me to have patience.

Now, keep your patience in a little bottle and let me explain a few points.

Captain James Potter had many enemies as I once I told you not that much many moons ago. From the smallest of pirates that think they can destroy gods to the biggest pirate that could count as Captain James Potter's equal.

I have a question for you, people that are reading this tale because of fate. Which enemy could possibly be after almost everyone?

He had so many enemies that, at the moment, only one person seemed to be his true enemy at the moment...

"Hello, Captain Potter," said a voice the Captain new very well.

The man was tall, skinny, and bony pale that he could almost blend in with the color white. His hair was as white as whatever object is the whitest that people didn't know where his skin ended and his hair started. The red eyes of his seem almost snake like, as if his eyes were the reason he called his ship The Snake.

Beside him was a man who looked slightly guilty, but was trying to seem emotionless. His skin was the color of sand due to the fact that his duty on The Snitch made him be nearest to the sun from any other of his crew mates. His blonde hair and blue eyes both seemed to scream guilt that he was trying to hide.

"Captain Riddle," sneered Captain James Potter.

Peter Pettigrew, starting to sound like a name of a traitor and backstabber to the people of The Snitch, was standing beside Captain Tom Marvolo Riddle, otherwise known as the Dark Lord, making it seem like they were in some sort of alliance.

They were.

They definitely had some sort of alliance between them for reasons even I couldn't figure out. Maybe the Captain of The Snake bargained with him something that Peter could not resist.

Let me tell you a couple of things...

The traitor, otherwise known as Peter Pettigrew, was the lookout of The Snitch. Captain James Potter mentally cursed himself that he should have known something was up when Peter declined going to The Secret Lounge.

The Dark Lord, Captain Tom Marvolo Riddle, was indeed very clever at hitting his arrow at the lookout of The Snitch. He could have choose another sort of attack, if he ever had the patience for that, such as attacking the ship while the lookout couldn't say anything because of the bargain.

Captain James Potter glared at Captain Tom Marvolo Riddle, otherwise known as the Dark Lord, as the Dark Lord started smiling evilly.

"Let's see, Captain Potter," said the Dark Lord as he slowly started to pace a short distance. "I would like to have a fair fight with you. I want to fight with you when we have equal forces. But that doesn't mean I'll leave you empty-handed."

"What do you mean?" asked the Captain of The Snitch, his fist clenched at his side as he tried not to show his anger. He always tried to follow one of his simple rules which where to never let his enemy know what his emotion were so they don't use it against him.

"I give your three days time to figure our a plan of attack me and I'll be ready whenever," said the Dark Lord. "After that, don't say I didn't warn you when I attack you. I'll even give you a prize you have to get."

Captain James Potter raised an eyebrow in question. He was curious on what the Dark Lord could possibly mean about a prize.

Out of who knows where, hands grabbed the Meadows twins and tied them, dragging them until they were wiggling at the Dark Lord's feet.

"You'll have to try and get these twins," said the Captain of The Snake. "You'll have to form a plan and everything. I expect a fair attack."

"Why are you doing this?" asked James, momentarily glancing at the Meadows twins who couldn't speak because their mouths were tied shut. "Why the game, Riddle?"

"You know I like games, Captain Potter," said Captain Tom Riddle.

With that, they whisked away and disappeared.

The crew members of The Snitch hated their former lookout who was know only known as a traitor to them.

The Captain of The Snitch stormed to his cabin and smashed the door close. It was honestly a wonder that the door didn't break and fly away into the sea.

Lily stood up, her lips slightly parted in shock.

"I should check on him," said the second mate of The Snitch.

"I can do it," said the first mate of The Snitch.

Once they started arguing, Lily shut them up.

"I'll do it," said Lily.

Moving forward, she muttered softly to herself.

The red haired princess hostage entered the cabin and shut the door softly behind her, sure that no door would be flying to the ocean.

She watched as the Captain threw a book at the wall in frustration. If her eyes were not kidding with her, there was a lone tear starting to fall down his cheek.

"James," Lily said softly as she moved toward him slowly.

"It's my fault," muttered James as he hit one of his fists on the wall behind his desk. It was such a hard hit that it slowly started to bleed.

Lily moved forward and held his bleeding hand. She made him look at her and locked eyes with him.

"James Gilbert Potter," she said firmly. "This is not your fault, okay? This is not your fault. This is the Dark Lord's fault. Were you the one who stole Dorcas and Devonte? No. Do you have the gift of prophecy and saw that this would happen, but did nothing to stop it? No. At least I hope you don't. You don't, right?"

"No, I don't," said James, sniffing and barking out a small laughter.

"Good," said Lily as she wiped away his lone tear. "Now, you can cry James-"

"Last time I cried in front of someone was my parents' funeral," the Captain of The Snitch informed her.

"Either way, you still can cry," said Lily, making him lay on his bed. "It is not a weakness, it is just an indication that you have been strong for king. In your case, I am assuming a very long time."

James sat down on his bed, his feet firmly planted on the floor. He grabbed the red-haired princess by the waist and pulled her closer. She laid her hands on his shoulders.

He looked up at her in awe.

"How do you know how to calm down my storm?" asked the Captain of The Snitch.

"I guess I am the person who was fated to calm down your storm whenever it starts," said the princess.

James grabbed her right hand from his shoulder and flipped it so that her palm faced him. He brought it close to his lips and kissed her palm.

"Thank you," whispered Captain James Potter to the princess.

"I am going to be here for you," said Lily, forgetting their situation. "I am going to be here for you when it is high and when it is low. I will try my best to calm your storm."

She leaned down and kissed his nose as if the would seal a promise she might not be able to keep.

Captain James Potter held the princess's hand tightly and dared any of his crew people to utter even a single vowel or consonant of a single word.

He looked at them and to figure what to say.

"Dorcas and Devonte had just been kidnapped and we have to get them back," said the Captain of The Snitch.

"What about Peter?" asked one of the currently angry pirates that made up the crew of The Snitch.

"Whoever sees him can kill him and bring me a piece of his body," said the Captain. "I usually prefer a finger or toe of my enemy. That way I know he is dead and I can show anyone else who tries to cross paths with me what would happen. It can also be a reminder that none of you should betray me. I made you gain my trust and from now on it will be harder."

"Who's the lookout?" asked Sirius. "We don't have the traitor anymore, meaning we don't have anyone to be lookout."

"Dorcas-"

The Captain stopped himself for a moment and squeezed back Lily's hand. He remembered the situation they were in and that Dorcas, nor Devonte, were hear.

"Remus and Sirius, assign anyone you find worthy. I'll talk to you all when I have the full plan to defeating Riddle," said the Captain before he dragged himself and his partner back to his cabin.

Closing the door, Lily looked at him.

"It's not your fault," Lily reminded him. "Now think of a plan because we need one."

She ruffled his messy hair.

Dorcas and Devonte were tied in a cell, but - fortunately for them - they didn't have anything that limited their ability to speak.

"We'll be fine," assured Devonte Meadows. "The Captain will get us out alive and we will be fine."

"Let's hope so," said Dorcas. "Otherwise, we are dead."

"Your sister isn't wrong," said a voice they started to know.

Captain Tom Marvolo Riddle emerged from the dark shadows and showed his evil face. His red eyes seemed to blow in the poorly lit cells of his ship while his pale lips held one of the evilest smiles there could possibly exist.

"What do you want?" asked Dorcas.

Ever since they were little, she was the stronger twin. She was the twin that would go into battle with a sword. She was the twin that if you threw into a pack of wolves, she'll come out as their fearless leader. She was always the fearless one out of the Meadows.

"Revenge," said Captain Tom Marvolo Riddle.

He sounded like a snake, who was bound for revenge with devil-like eyes.
