Following the source of the battle the modern ships were close on the aftermath of the battle just some wreaks and spilled blood and oil. Jumping off their ships they checked it out.
Shangri La: It seems that they had a real clash

So they headed towards the old AL base at a brisk pace. Back at the AL base Tarawa's arm was almost done being reattached back on to her.
Moced: Okay just need to do the finishing touches and.....all done how does it feel?
Tarawa: {Gives her hand a little move} Hmm... okay all good
By that time Yorked had her stomach wound all fixed up aswell.
Yorked: Now thats more like it
Moced: Better?
Yorked: Much better
Iowa: How bad was it?

Back with Hood she was just in her ship in the ammunition room hood on just collecting her thoughts in silence. Revenged was spoiled from her very hands she was mad but she was also mad at herself she wasn't like herself don't as elegant as she was back then now all corrupted and bloody she wanted to be all alone.
Meanwhile with the modern ships they were making progress in the direction they were heading pass the Sakura Empire territory but they weren't worried about them as they could take em on with ease. The Russian were just having the DRINCC and everyone else was just laying around as nothing was happening at first.

Meanwhile back in the present day some of the US ships were on leave watching a Formula E race in the Charlotte Rovel

Back in the past the ships were just going passed Sakura territory as the usual Japanese seas looked the JMSDF ships were a little discomfort on passing their original older ships they have accepted the western way of life but it will be super awkward when they encounter them especially Ise who come pare to the Ise of this time is more sober though she does like a good martini every now and then.

Passing under what looks like a mix of mangrove and sakura trees admiring the beauty that they show.

Meanwhile they were actually sailing in range of the main base. Nagato having the feeling of some unwanted guest she sent out the fifth carrier division along with some other ships to check it out. Sakura Empire has known of Iron Blood's situation but were wondering on how they gave up so easily.

Zuikaku: With Iron Blood's leader captured it seems we and Sardegna are the only ones left
Ise: and with these new ships we don't stand a chance

As they got closer and closer to the modern ships they got into radar range.
Hill: Uh oh..we have company
Hornet{CV-63}: I count 6 hostiles
Philippine Sea: There in range of A.S missiles i'd say give these japs one four
Dragon: Yeah boyo
Sticks: I'd say yes everyone weapons on the port side fire at will.. carriers go airborne
Soyuz: Ara...

V.J: Submarines go deep

Hill: Okay {Brings up her grid} select AGM-84 targets lead ship
Everyone aimed port side weapons while the submarines went deep underwater and the carrier launching their aircraft into the air. Shells and anti ship misses flew thru the air as the submarines went below the water.
Kirishima: I sense a great danger
Suddenly a torpedo struck her keel followed by the rain of fire brought down upon them.
Shoukaku: What the?
Sampson: WOOOHOO Murica Tojo b*tches!!! {Looks to her left to see angy Japanese ships} Oh sh*t i mean not you guys

All the Sakura ships jumped off of their ships activating their riggings charged forward towards them.
Philippine Sea: We got incoming rigging deployed their coming in hot
Duke: We got them
Sheffield: Depressing barrels
The capital ships depressed their gun barrels down as the Sakura ship scourged forward. Caught completely off guard by the fire power brought down upon them Zuikaku and Shoukaku launched their dive bombers to attack the carriers which they recognized.
Yorktown{CV-64}: Bombers inbound
Sheffield: Engaging anti air protocol
Dragon: Firing sea viper
The Daring Destoryers's eyes inter targeting system computer locked on to the dive bombers incoming firing their Sea Vipers at them hitting them all
Enty activated her rigging {To which their crystals form an extra layer of armour on them covering their more exposed areas} and jumped down to face them on head on with Soyuz and Sticks joined her.
Sticks: Don't think you can have all the fun now..
Soyuz: da let us go comrades
Charging forward Zuikaku noticed of Enty's resemblance to the Grey Ghost she knew so she gunned for her.
Zuikaku: Grey Ghost!!!!
Shoukaku: Zuikaku wait!
Zuikaku rushed at Enty jumping into the air she...well..tried to strike at her but she grabbed the katana with both hands.
Enty: So you are already dead...
Zuikaku: Nani!?
Enty: I ain't no Grey Ghost i'm HELL"S GHOST
She gave Zuikaku a kick to the stomach then swug her bow. Shoukaku tried to come to her sisters aid Soyuz got in her way.
Soyuz: Sorry comrade but this way close
Shoukaku played her flute launching dive bombers at Soyuz.
Soyuz: Hmph... cute...
Opening her eyes glowing purple she with ease fired her AA weaponry hitting all of them.
Shoukaku: What?
Ise jumped to mount one of the modern ships little did she knew she just boarded her descendants ship landing on the top deck she was amazed by the helicopters on deck suddenly the Phalanx CIWS on deck turned towards her and fired at her she quickly avoided the burst of fire. Rei then jumped off of the island onto the flight deck.
Ise: Who are you?
R.E.I: Well...i'm basically your descendant but better i don't want to hurt my own but..{Pulls out a taser prod} let's see if this heaven is truly by your side
