{Y/N's POV}
(Present time)
God, why did the place Dream wanted to meet have to be so far away?
I guess he is a pretty mysterious guy... maybe he lives all the way out there...? maybe he just wants to make sure no one will interrupt us when meeting...? but, who knows.
Either way, I need to be careful of my surroundings... and of Dream.
The more steps I take forward, draws me nearer to where Dream is.
No matter what happens, I need to remember to get that sword back at all costs.
I was currently in a Savannah biome, I was only a bit away from the designated spot.
I had to climb up quite a huge set of mountain, and by the time I arrived, I saw who I was expecting to see.
Dream.
But, other than him... I also noticed Tommy and Tubbo.
Out of all people... Why are they here with Dream?
And... why are they completely armorless? They seemed out of breath, tired, lost....? The area around them seemed pretty messed up and destroyed too....
Did... I turn up at a bad time..?
Before I could process anymore of the situation at hand, Dream spotted me. Waving to me, an action telling me to come towards them.
"Hey, Y/N. You're finally here, what took you so long?" Dream called out
Tommy and Tubbo turned their heads around to face me, they seemed quite shocked to see me here.
I mean- I guess the feeling is pretty mutual. I didn't expect them to be here either....
I only expected Dream.
"Y/N..!?!?" Tommy shouted
"What are you doing here??" Tubbo exclaims
I ignored Tommy and Tubbo's shocked sounding voices and walked over to the three males, eyeing Dream up more than the other two.
"What is this about, Dream?" I asked, curious of not only the situation in front of me, but also the situation about my precious sword
The sound of the wind was the only reply I got. Since Dream, didn't even utter a word. All he did was stare at me. The mask covering his face didn't show me much about how his actual expression is... But I could feel his intense gaze behind the white smiley face mask.
It only stopped when I finally stood in front of him, Tubbo and Tommy.
"We'll talk about it after we go to a more... closed environment" Dream says
We're literally in the middle of no where and he doesn't think it's closed enough? It's literally so far away from civilization. And I know my maps of the word, literally no one is anywhere near us for miles.
"Anyway, I'd like you three to follow me" Dream says, beginning to walk past us
I was going to follow him, but I was stopped by someone grabbing my wrist.
Turning around, I see it was Tommy who did the action.
"Why... Why are you here..?" Tommy asked
At first, I didn't know if I should tell him the reason I was here. But, I decided to tell him about my sudden appearance here briefly.
"....Dream has something I desire to have back in my possession" I simply told him
His eyes widen, a glimmer of hope sparked in them.
"W-we do too..! Hey- maybe you can---"
"Lemme stop you there, Tommy." I spoke up to cut him off "I know what you're going to say, and I don't want to do it. At least allow me to see my options before I do something so reckless"
That hope instantly transitioned into sadness. He was giving me those weird mythical 'puppy dog eyes' that I'd never expect to see from him out of all people... But even with those eyes, it didn't change my mind.
I ripped my arm out of Tommy's grip.
"I'm not doing anything until I see there to be no other choice. I suggest you do the same. See your options before anything else" I state
Turning around, I slowly followed after Dream while the two teens followed behind me.
We walked and walked, but while this happen, my mind was wondering why Tommy and Tubbo were here.
I thought back to what Tommy said.
They have something taken by Dream as well.
If I'm right about this... He's talking about the music discs.
Of course.
It always goes back to the discs.
Though, thinking about it... If they wanted to come here to take back the discs... Then this is definitely where Dream resides... Or at least, this is where some sort of base of operation or storage is placed and hidden away.
But... Would he really hide two stupid discs here?
Dream ushered us over and we ended up slowly and steadily going down a water stream off the cliff.
The view was pretty breathtaking, all the shades and hues in the sky. The stars and the moon too. The trees and the rest of the plains all just seemed so... perfect for a situation like this.
Peace before the war.
...or at least, peace before the conflict.
"Hey, Y/N. Do you want to know what these two were trying to do before you got here?" Dream suddenly spoke up
Not really... but...
"...okay?" I reply
"These two just showed up. And decided to fight me in an attempt to get back their discs. They really thought they were doing something, they really thought they won, they succeeded. But, they failed to see that I already had a plan. I already was many steps ahead of them" Dream explains
By the time we got to the bottom of the water stream, Dream continued to speak.
"I mean--- Tubbo thought I was his friend. What an idiot, right? Even Tommy thought I was his friend at some point." Dream says
"That's because you said we were your friend" Tommy states
"There's a little thing called: manipulation... Tommy, I thought you out of all people would at least know some sense of it" I said
Tommy rolled his eyes at me after hearing my comment.
"....look. The whole reason I have the discs, is because... you, Tubbo. Believed that Tommy blew up the community house... I framed Tommy when in actuality... It was Y/N who blew it up"
"Huh??!" "Wait-- What?!?"
Tommy and Tubbo both shot their gazes to me, ones of complete and utter shock. They were in such disbelief.
"Y/N..!?" Tommy uttered "Y-you...!!"
"You blew it up..??" Tubbo questioned
"If it weren't me, then it would've been Dream. I'm telling you, no matter what... this outcome wouldn't of been any different." I muttered
Tubbo would've still given the discs, even if I said I did it, the outcome wouldn't of changed. It was set in stone from the beginning.
Just like some sort of historic tale...
"I won't say she's wrong... But not entirely right either" Dream says
Just say I got it right, dipshit.
Dream then pulls out his pickaxe.
"But... still.... L'manburg's gone... I have the discs..." Dream then points the pickaxe out at us "...I have you guys at my mercy right now..."
"But- Y/N still has her stuff on her" Tubbo points out
Dude-
Dream's head turns to me for a moment before turning back over to Tubbo.
"...She's not a threat unless Technoblade is here."
"Oh my god- Y/N. Are you really that much of Techno's bitch?" Tommy asked snarkily to me
I didn't react to Tommy. Mainly because-- why the hell would I?
What would I even say to that?
It's not true.
no.
But, why would anyone want to reply to that?
"...Anyways" Dream draws out, walking over to the side of the mountain
Once he got to the wall, he raised his pickaxe with both of his hands and hit it down onto the stone, creating a hole in the wall to another room in the aftermath.
"Follow me and don't get left behind... You won't survive the rest of the night as the way you all are now... Tired, most of you armorless.... It's advised just to follow" Dream says
He's kinda right about it all though.
We all walked inside the little room within the stone walls, and we ended up into a pretty decently sized room with an obsidian platform basically in the middle of it all.
"Stand in here" Dream says, pointing over to the platform
We all walked over to the platform, seeing a section in the center that is indicating for us all to stand in it.
Tommy and Tubbo were a little cautious about it, but I didn't have anything to fear.
So, I stood where I was told.
Tommy called me an idiot, but at the sight of Tubbo following my lead, Tommy just gave in and followed through as well.
Dream started some sort of redstone contraption up and he joined us, after a while, we all started to move down with the platform.
Allowing ourselves to sink further and further into the darkness....
