Anshul's POV

...

...ugg...

...my head was pounding...

There was something...wrong.

I tried to place my paw on my head, but I couldn't.

Something kept me from moving my paws.

When I tried to pull on whatever was keeping me from moving my paw, the sound of chains rattling could be heard.

Suddenly, extremely cold water was thrown over me.

My body temperature lowered rapidly.

"*cough cough cough!*...*pant...pant*"

Finally, my vision focused.

"wakey wakey." A sinister voice called out.

As my vision focused, I saw a Sableye.

"seems that you finally decided to wake up..eyy?"

The Sableye looked back.

"tell this to the king! Inform him about this!" the Sableye demanded, commanding another mon behind him.

"so...the king had you thrown into prison...because he thinks you know more than you want to admit!"

"..."

"what? Not so brave now, are you?!" it taunted.

There was then some very strange talking going on.

It was confusing me, until I saw a Spiritomb in the room.

It send out some kind of frequencies.

"so...he finally woke up I hear?" a voice which could only have been from the king, spoke through a frequency that was being casted by the Spiritomb.

I then realized that I was in the castle prisons.

As I looked around more, I realized that this was the room where Blake was tortured...

...

This gave me a not so good inside what would be happening to me...

My paws were cuffed with metal, some kind of heat proof metal.

The chains stuck into the wall, pinning me against it.

"yes, he is finally awake!"

"hehe, finally! You know what to do!" the Spititomb's frequency told.

Then, the frequency disappeared.

The spiritomb was now looking at me.

"now, we can do this two ways! One. Tell us what you're hiding, and live. Or, we'll force the information out of you." The Sableye had a pointy teethed grin on its face.

"...I...know...nothing..." I said, not giving them any info at all.

The Sableye shook its head.

"you are lucky! The king specifically told me, that no physical torture will work on you."

"but, we have other ways to torture you!" the Sableye cackled.

Then, the spiritomb levitated in front of me.

It began to hypnotize me.

Because of this, it tried to get me to fall asleep again.

I tried to look away, but it followed me everywhere.

It soon caught me, with its hypnosis attack.

My eyes felt heavy, and I fell asleep once again.

...

Blake's POV

After so long.

Me and Ciana have been trying to escape that castle, since we weren't allowed to be together.

Now, I'm making a plan to get back in...

But, we have no choice.

Anshul is taken prison in that castle.

The only way out is in the castle.

I've studied that castle for years.

And I have to use all that knowledge to create a flawless escape plan.

...

...

It took some time to make it, but it's finally done.

The plan is complete.

"...ugg...now to get some shut eye..."

I quietly snuck into my sister's room, and laid down beside her.

My eyes shut, and sleep quickly came...

...

...

I woke up early.

Today...was the day.

By tomorrow night, we'd be free.

After all those years...we couldn't give up now.

He won't win this time.

I've trained all those years, for this...

I softly nudged my sister.

She woke up pretty quick.

"...easy sis, let me get the meds..."

My sister drank one of the flask the Flareon made for her.

It was empty enough to drink it completely empty.

I took the other medicine, putting it on her stitched wound.

"ahh, easy brother...it's still sensitive." Ciana said to me.

"...sis...today is the day...that we escape..."

Ciana had a first panicked look in her eyes, but that quickly turned into relief.

"brother...we'll have to face him again...remember what happened the last time?" Ciana asked.

"...oh, I remember alright...but this time...I'm not on deaths door...we have support, and I trained beyond physical limits...and don't forget that I'm pretty much immune to pain..."

"you aren't immune...you just don't feel pain...but your body reacts to it like normal..." Ciana reminded me.

"...yes...but we have come too far...we can't give up...not now..."

"we won't brother, we'll all make it out..." Ciana said.

I nodded at my sister, and opened the bedroom door.

"...let's get this nightmare over with..."

Ciana nodded, and padded out the bedroom.

...

The living room was pretty peaceful.

Clyde, Mira and Amber were all sleeping on the couch.

"should we wake them?" Ciana asked me.

"...yes...we have no time to lose..." I answered her.

Ciana nodded, and began to softly wake the three eeveelutions up with her ribbons, softly nudging their heads.

Her ribbons were completely healed again, making her able to use soothing energy to wake them up in a natural way.

Amber was the first one to wake up, she looked around in a drowsy way.

Next was Mira, a shy squeak emitting from her, when she saw us.

Last was Clyde, as he was sleeping in between the two sisters.

How he managed to not wake up, is beyond me.

Amber and Mira were stretching their tired limbs, sometimes a soft squeak emitted from Mira.

I had to give it to Anshul, she was extremely adorable.

Shaking the thoughts from my mind, made me realize that Clyde was up.

"wh-what! Are we under attack again!" Clyde called out, holding a defensive stance.

"no...not yet at least..." Ciana said.

Mira hid behind Amber.

"oh...so...this is the day?" Clyde asked.

"...this is indeed the day...and...I have a plan..."

"..I call it...operation: breakout..."

I guided them to the planning room, opening a door to lead us there.

When we were all inside, I revealed the plan.

It was a drawn map on a whiteboard.

Many lines and rooms were drawn in special ways.

"...operation: breakout, has several plans to it..."

"...plan A: we sneak into the castle, save Anshul and go via the mines to escape this hell..."

"...if plan A fails, we go into plan B..."

"...plan B: if we get caught, we hold them off, until team Alpha reaches the mines. Team Beta will hold them off...this only works if we are far enough into plan A..."

"...now...if we aren't far enough into plan A which would be team Alpha coming toward the mines. we're going to have to go into plan C..."

"...it's pure chaos, we leave no mon behind. We fight through everything, and stop at nothing. Our goal is the mines and Anshul..." I explained to my friends.

"what are the teams?" Clyde asked.

"...team Alpha will be Clyde and Ciana..."

"...team Beta will be Mira, Amber and Blake..." I said.

"what! Why no---oh right yea never mind." Clyde caught onto the reason.

"...this is the least amount of risk...Ciana will take Anshul's leaf bag with her, because the medicine she needs to take, are in it..."

"...is everymon ready..."

"umm, wait a second.."

"how are we going to reach the castle?"

"there is a village in the way.." Clyde stated.

"...we'll go as one team to the castle..."

"...all dark types that are now standing guard are exhausted..."

"...we'll sneak in via the graveyard..."

"...the murkrows will be asleep still..."

"...only the street lanterns are there..." I explained to everymon.

Everymon nodded, and got ready for the plan.

We ate the last berries in the den.

The berries were enough for breakfast.

All of us prepared to go to the village.

"...the forest is a cruel place...stay as close as possible..."

"...if you lose sight of us, say something..."

"...okay, let's go..."

We began to travel to the village.

I was dead serious, ready to put an end to all of this.

Ciana both looked ready to fight, and nervous to face the king again.

Clyde looked extremely focused, seemingly thinking of all possible strategies he could use, when we were there.

Amber looked a little worried, but ready to defend her sister at all cost.

Mira...she was absolutely terrified...she was shaking, the fear was in her eyes...

"...she must be so worried...poor girl..." I thought.

...

Anshul's POV

My vision went to black.

It didn't stay black for long.

A nightmare is what I saw.

...

Terrible things were shown to me.

The only thing that could scare me....

My friends were getting hurt...

Over...

And over....

And over....

Suddenly, cold water was thrown over me again.

I woke up very fast, and began to cough.

"*cough, cough!*" I looked at the sableye in rage.

"didn't get too comfortable, did we?"

"......"

"still nothing to say?"

"hmm, perhaps your friends would like to talk for you?"

"but sadly for them, they'll break if they are met with physical torture, hehehe." The sableye cackled.

He knew what I dreamed about.

The sableye used dream eater to know what my dreams were.

They were going to use this against me.

"It's simple. If you don't tell us what you know, we'll continue to do this, and torture your friends for the information that they truly might not know." The sableye snickered.

"...i.f....y.o.u....t.o.u.c.h....m.y...f.r.i.e.n.d.s..."

"...i.l.l....m.a.k.e....a.l.l...o.f...y.o.u....r.e.g.r.e.t.....i.t..."

"hehehe, empty threats! You couldn't even hurt anymon when they knocked you out!" the sableye cackled.

The spiritomb hypnotized me again, making me fall asleep .

My bet was that they use nightmare on me, a terrible move.

The terrifying images start to flash by again.

...

Clyde's POV

Me, Mira, Amber, Blake and Ciana were padding toward the village again.

Mira had me really worried.

She was staying close to Amber at all times.

Amber saw me looking at her sometimes.

She always looked back with a worried gaze.

I hope that Blake knew what he was doing, because I'm gonna have to trust him with both Mira and Amber.

"ain't this just the forest to be near that village!"

"I'd say it fits perfectly, if it wasn't such a nightmare to go through!" I said with annoyance in my voice.

"...damn right...I never understood why this forest is so overgrown..." Blake said.

"it's not supposed to. It's way too dark for plants to overgrow." Amber said, soothing Mira.

Blake slashed at some of the grass, cutting a way through.

"what do we do if we get caught in the village?" I asked.

"...we'll either have to hide, until they think we left...or we are going to have to brute force our way through..."

"...it's extremely unlikely, because none of the guards bother after the full moon..." Blake answered.

"*huff* let's just get this all over with..." Ciana said.

...

"there it is..." I stated, finally out of that forest.

We were in front of the village entrance.

"no guards? Nothing at all..." I said, surprised.

"...yep...follow my lead..." Blake said.

All five of us snuck into the village.

I made sure to stay close to Amber and Mira.

Blake stayed close to Ciana, as we followed him.

The village was extremely silent, not a single mon was on the streets.

Not even any murkrows were flying around.

I nudged Blake, getting his attention.

"hey Blake? Why are there no murkrows now?" I asked, feeling puzzled.

"...they have no reason to be here now...no mon to spy on..." Blake answered.

"...the only reason they fly around the village, is to spy on mons?" I asked in disbelief.

Blake nodded at me.

...

This only made me want to get out of here more.

...

Blake suddenly stopped us from proceeding.

He had a paw raised in the air, telling us to stop.

The Umbreon looked around the corner, checking everything to make sure they wouldn't be seen.

Blake then ducked back from the corner.

"...the blue fires are around...don't let yourselves get spotted by them..." Blake warned all of us.

I nodded at Blake.

...

We came past a den with windows.

Curiosity got the best of me.

I carefully looked inside the den.

It was empty...but there was tons of stuff there.

When I tried the door, I was surprised when it wasn't locked.

Blake motioned to us to follow him.

We all went inside the den.

...

"...take a short moment to catch our breaths...this village has a very dense ambience..." Blake said.

Mira was hyperventilating a little.

Amber soothed her, nudging her muzzle against hers.

This den was owned by somemon.

Blake saw that I was nervous, when I looked around the den.

There were many items, that couldn't have been part of the den's interior.

A paw was placed on my back.

"...they're dead...don't think about it, Clyde...they are long gone..." Blake whispered to me, so the rest wouldn't hear.

I had a surprised look on my face.

It took a little to snap out of it, but I shook my head.

"don't think about it...big boy has done similar things like this." I thought.

Blake smiled at me, and looked around the den a little.

Ciana was at the dining room table.

She was picking something up, and inspecting it.

I padded to go see what she had.

When I reached the table, Ciana had nothing in her paws.

"found something, Ciana?" I asked with interest in my voice.

She shook her head.

"nope, just inspecting some things on this table." Ciana said, sounding innocently.

My eyes squinted, as I sensed that something was off.

"are you sure?" I asked.

"yep! Very sure!" Ciana answered in a happy tone.

Hmm, interesting.

"...are we ready..." Blake asked.

I instantky looked at Mira and Amber.

They both nodded their head.

Once they nodded, I nodded.

Ciana nodded as well.

Blake nodded also.

...

"...ok...let's move..." Blake said.

He carefully opened the den door.

When he peaked out, he almost immediately closed it fast.

"...away from the windows..."

We all got away, when Blake said that.

"...what...I've never seen them mobile before..." Blake stated.

"hmm? What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"...did Anshul tell you about the blue flames..." Blake asked.

I nodded at him.

"...those flames...are pokemon...called litwick..." Blake explained.

"wait! What? They are pokemon? Why are they around so much?" I asked.

"...to keep an eye out...they spy as well, Clyde..." Blake explained.

"*sigh* we have to get out of here..." I stated.

Blake nodded, and padded back to the den door.

He slightly opened it, peaking out of it.

"...coast is clear...let's move..." Blake said.

We got up, and followed Blake again.

...

Blake was right.

There really were pokemon patrolling the village.

They were levitating in the air, and had a blue flame on their head.

Litwick was their names, and Blake told us to never get seen by one.

Apparently, they cause all ghost and dark types to be alerted to that position.

I assumed that it was very bad news, even if they were all asleep.

Blake motioned to us, meaning that we needed to stay close.

We all hid in an alleyway.

One of the many litwick levitated past the alleyway.

Once we all knew it was safe, we left the alleyway.

The castle was getting closer and closer.

...

"...we need to move...otherwise...we might get caught..." Blake warned.

Mira made a scared whine, and began to shiver.

Amber used her vines to rub her back.

She hoped that Mira would calm down, and hang in there.

Ciana used one of her ribbons, and touched Mira with it.

Mira stopped shivering, and only made soft whines now.

I raised one eyebrow, wondering what she did.

"...that's natural...Sylveon their ribbons hold a calming and soothing energy to them...they can soothe and calm other pokemons..." Blake explained.

"...wow...Sylveon truly are magical." I stated with an impressed voice.

Blake nodded at me, and continued to lead the way.

...

The staircase was nearby.

We just needed to reach it, and sneak up without anymon noticing.

"...we're here...let's go up..." Blake started to climb the staircase.

I checked on Amber and Mira.

Amber was still soothing Mira.

She was really scared to come here again.

Mira reluctantly began to climb the staircase.

Ciana stayed behind them, for some reason.

We all climbed the staircase.

...

Once we reached the top, I saw that the gate was closed.

"well then...that's a problem." I stated out loud.

"...no it isn't...we are taking another route...a better one..." Blake said, going east.

I checked the signpost, and saw that east went toward a graveyard.

"umm, Blake."

"I think that we are going the wrong way...that way goes to a graveyard." I said to Blake, as I speeded up to reach him.

"...it isn't a graveyard...do you really think they bury the bodies..." Blake stated.

My eyes widened at the thought.

"w-why do they have one then?" I asked, now curious.

"...it was made, when we still thought we needed one...until he went insane..."

I shook my head, forgetting about the entire thing.

Blake saw the gate of the graveyard.

When he tried to open it, he padded right into the gate.

He tried to open it, but he couldn't.

"...*sigh* curse this gate...we need a key..." Blake stated.

"what! Where would we get that!?" I asked.

"...hmm...the guards barracks should have the key...only...we need to get the key from there..." Blake said, looking at me.

My ear flicked, and I looked behind me.

Amber, Mira and Ciana were all moved to the side, pretty much saying that Blake wants me to get it.

"woa, woa, woa! hang on a bloody minute! Why me!?" I asked, taken aback.

"...well, you have knowledge of battles and villages..." Blake stated.

"that doesn't make any sense! Mira and Amber have lived in a village. Ciana and you are FROM this bloody village, and I don't even know where the barracks is, nor how that key would look!" I called out, in a frustrated tone.

"...would you really let Mira or Amber go into a dangerous building with high trained guards...while they are all alone...leave one of the sisters alone, without the other sister...and risk them getting caught..." Blake asked, looking at me with one eyebrow raised.

"well, n-n-no but---" I got cut off.

"...I've never been their either, Clyde...neither has Ciana...you have the knowledge and the experience to know how a guard barrack would look..." Blake added.

"how do you know the key is there, and how do I know what the key looks like!" I called out again.

"...where would they store the key otherwise...the state of the door, corresponds to the key as well...a rusty gate, would have a rusty key..." Blake explained.

I growled from frustration.

"fine! But you owe me one!" I said.

Blake just shrugged.

...

I padded back to the castle gatehouse.

The signpost told that west was where the barracks were.

My head turned that way, and I began to go there.

A stone building is what I saw.

It certainly looked like the barracks I knew back at the old village, but would the same rules apply to this village.

Then, my savior arrived.

My fins started to vibrate.

A small drip of water dropped on my head.

I looked up, and the clouds were dark.

"a storm is coming..."

My eyes widened.

"a very big storm is coming..."

Rain is very good for Vaporeon.

My water attacks increase in power, and it makes my pawsteps pretty much impossible to hear in the rain.

I waited a little, until the rain started.

As my pawsteps were covered by the raindrops hitting the ground,I began to pad toward the door of the barracks.

When I opened the door, several dark types were passed out.

There was a circular wooden table with some wooden chairs.

The dark types were passed out in the chairs.

Some more were in stacked beds.

I checked the doorpost, expecting a nail to hold the key.

"darn...no luck." I thought.

As I checked the room for the rusty key, I spotted a bunch of keys on one of the dark types their claws.

On closer inspection, there weren't any rusty keys.

Frustration build up in me, as I checked more.

I then saw it.

The key was in one of the guards their filthy claws.

As I inspected it closer, it had a pretty loose grip on the key.

When I tried to get the key, it got a firmer grip on the key.

Part of me wanted to destroy this little nobody, and another part told me to stay focused.

I took another key, one that was about the same size.

My paws swiftly switched the two keys.

Once I had the rusty key, I slowly began to make my way to the door.

None of them woke up.

As soon as I reached the door, I opened it and softly closed it.

When I was outside, I booked it to the graveyard.

...

I saw Blake, Ciana, Amber and Mira waiting by the gate.

They were drenched because of the rain.

My speed was way faster than normal, because of the rain.

When I stopped, I almost ran into the gate.

"...you got the key..." Blake asked.

I nodded, and tried it on the gate.

To my surprise, the gate opened.

My head turned to Blake with a surprised expression.

Blake had one eyebrow raised.

"...told ya...you'd be fine...now look..." Blake pawed at the graveyard.

"that was pure luck..." I stammered back.

"...you can't get lucky in skill..." Blake said back, padding into the graveyard.

I shook my head, and followed the Umbreon.

...

While I was following Blake, I noticed Ciana.

She had something in her ribbon.

As she closed the gate, one of her ribbons held something thin and metal looking.

Her ribbon swiftly hid behind her body.

"what is she carrying with her?" I wondered in my mind.

"...sis...come here for a sec..." Blake sounded different.

He sounded....emotional.

Ciana padded to Blake, faster than her usual walk.

She stopped beside Blake.

Suddenly, her ribbons drooped.

Blake looked at Ciana.

They understood each other.

"...this...is where it all began...this...is where we were caught...this...is where they saw us kiss..." Blake said.

Ciana placed a paw on Blake's shoulder.

"kissed? Caught? What are they talking about?" I wondered.

Blake and Ciana quickly recovered.

"come brother...lets finish this once and for all..." Ciana said.

The Umbreon nodded, and got back up.

"...ok...we are here...time to enter this hell hole...for one last time..." Blake said, looking at me, Mira and Amber.

All three of us nodded, Mira in a hesitant way.

Blake then moved some bushes and moss.

A crawlspace was behind all the rubbish.

"...I'll go first...Ciana goes last...follow my lead..." Blake said.

He crawled into the opening.

I looked at Amber and Mira.

Amber nodded at me.

After Amber reassured me, I entered the crawlspace and followed Blake.

...

The crawlspace was just wide enough to crawl through.

"how do you know of this?" I questioned Blake, whispering.

"...it's how me and Ciana got out the castle...he didn't know of this..." Blake whispered back to me.

"he? Who's he?" I questioned.

Blake tensed up.

"...the king...he is the mon that caused all of this...he is the mon that tortured me...he is the reason me and Ciana couldn't be together..." Blake explained, his voice getting filled with hatred the longer he spoke.

I decided to drop the subject.

"so, that's why that graveyard was your and Ciana's spot...it was never used...so...there was no reason to go there...the perfect place to get some peace and quiet." I stated.

"...exactly...until...that darn Honchkrow came...he used his Murkrows to spy around the village...including me and Ciana...once they saw us kissing...they instantly went to snitch on us...before you knew it...I got locked up..." Blake explained a little more.

"Blake and Ciana...they call each other brother and sister...yet...he's talking about kissing...I must be missing something..." I thought in my mind.

We continued to crawl.

"h-h-hey A-A-Amber?" Mira stuttered.

Amber looked back at her sister.

"yes Mira?"

"W-wh-what's t-this icky, p-paint-like g-goop?" Mira stuttered shyly.

Blake instantly turned around with wide eyes.

"...Ciana..." Blake called out.

Ciana used her ribbons to soothe Mira.

"What is that? Something red?" Amber questioned.

"...that isn't paint...that's blood..." Blake said bluntly.

I watched Mira's eyes widen in fear, as she was about to scream.

Ciana used a stronger soothing effect, to stop Mira's attempted scream.

My water gun gently removed the blood from Mira's paw.

She had a shocked expression.

Blake turned back, now going a little faster.

"you said no mon knew of this crawlspace?" I whispered to Blake.

"...how do you think we survived...we used these very tunnels to escape this hell hole...but we knew we weren't going to get far..." Blake said vaguely.

"far? What do you mean?" I asked.

"...he has a giant cage of Mandibuzzes...he lets them near starvation...if somemon gets too far away from this castle...he releases the Mandibuzzes...there is no soul that can outrun or outfly bloodthirsty Mandibuzzes...they will find anyone that isn't a dark type, and tear them apart...they are deadly...and are impossible to escape..." Blake explained in a soft voice.

"how do they know?" I asked.

"...Murkrows and some Trevenants stand guard...they can communicate with each other from far distances..." Blake explained, before crawling faster.

I decided to stay silent, until we got into the castle.

...

Anshul's POV

The nightmares got worse and worse...

All of them...were about Mira, Amber and Clyde...

Most of them were of Mira...

I've seen so many sights of her...

Hurt...

Scratched....

Punched...

Crying...

Begging...

...

"*gasp*...*pant*...*pant*"

More water was thrown into my face...

"are you ready to tell us your secret? Or do you need to spill some more tears?" the Sableye snickered.

It's true...tears were streaming down my face....

They were truly hurting me, with their nightmares.

"...g.o...t.o...h.e.l.l..."

The Sableye shook it's head, and nodded at the Spiritomb.

I was once again forced to sleep.

...

Clyde's POV

Blake opened a wooden trapdoor.

Once he opened it, he crawled out.

I soon followed, and helped Amber, Mira and Ciana to get out as well.

All of our fur was a mess.

Mira and Amber were covered in dirt and other filth.

Ciana's fur wasn't white, but gray and somewhat black from dust.

I had slight scrape wounds, from the long crawl.

Blake had some blood on him, but he was completely unbothered by it.

"...luckily...we are in a safe room...we can get our composure, before we make our way to the stairs..." Blake said, looking around the room.

"no. nonono. Mira it's alright. Your fur will be fine." Amber said.

Mira had a very sad and teary eyed expression.

Ciana used her ribbons again to calm her down.

"are you sure that I should go with Ciana? She has been soothing Mira more than I can count...if Mira doesn't see Anshul soon...I'm afraid of what will happen with her..." I whispered to Blake.

"...we can't Clyde...I know it's sad...but we have to push through it..." Blake said, understanding what I mean.

I frowned, and looked back at Mira.

...

Once we had our composure, Blake padded to the door.

I took a look at the room.

It seemed to be some kind of storage room.

"...we need to get to the stairs...avoid all blue flames at all cost...stay close...and follow me and Ciana..." Blake said.

Me, Mira and Amber nodded.

Blake slowly opened the door, and looked around.

"...coast is clear..." Blake stated.

I followed Blake.

He padded with haste.

Blake had no hesitation at all, when he needed to make a choice in what way to go.

Ciana closed the door behind us.

Amber crouched walked, trying to stay as silent as possible.

Mira was shaking in every step, her ears were flat against her head.

We were fast, and quick with every movement.

Some doors had snoring pokemon inside.

Something I noticed, is that the storm was still going on outside.

The corridors all looked the same, yet Blake had no trouble with knowing what way to go.

He checked around every corner, being sure that there were no dark types in the halls.

Mira was scared of the suits of armor.

I don't blame her, they look haunted.

Amber was far quieter than Mira.

I've known Amber for long enough, to know that her silence is a way of telling that she's either on edge or scared.

...

Suddenly, when Blake checked around one corner, he looked back, and ordered us to go into a room.

We went into the closest room, and closed the door.

All of us stayed as silent as possible.

Blake had his head against the door, listening for the mon to pass.

He soon opened the door, and pawed at the next corridor.

Ciana took the lead, and guided us for a little.

Blake closed the door, when we were all out.

He took the lead again, and guided us to the stairs.

...

There was only one corridor between us and the stairs.

One problem, there was a dark type by the stairs.

"...Ciana...this one is for you..." Blake said.

Ciana looked around the corner, and saw the half asleep dark type.

She used three of her ribbons to summon a numerous amount of magical leaves.

Once she was ready, she threw them at the dark type.

Right before the sharp leaves hit the dark type, they made a sharp turn right, away from the stairs.

The dark type flinched and looked at the leaves.

To my surprise, he simply followed the leaves.

"go, go!" Ciana said.

We padded toward the stairs.

The dark type was too busy with figuring out where the leaves went.

As the stairs got closer and closer, my heart was beating faster and faster.

Blake didn't bother with the steps.

He just jumped down the staircase and jumped into the basement.

I skipped some steps, getting down halfway, until I looked at what Mira and Amber were doing.

Amber used her vines to get Mira down, and then she jumped at me, making me catch her.

I gently placed her down, before Ciana graciously glided down.

Once again, I skipped some steps, and caught Amber when she jumped.

Her vines picked Mira up, and Ciana did the same as before.

We got further into the basement, to ensure that no mon would hear us.

"...we're here...I'm certain no mon suspected a thing...you made the leaves disappear...right, sis..." Blake looked at Ciana.

"yes brother, they're still looking..." Ciana said.

"...nice...when we get to floor -1, we'll split our group...Ciana will go with Clyde to safe Anshul...me, Mira and Amber will wait at the mines, until we can go...this is it...we can't afford to mess up now..." Blake said.

I nodded.

Ciana had a certain look in her eyes.

Mira was still shaking from fear.

Amber was ready to get out of here.

Blake turned his back, and began to guide the way.

...

After some time of padding, we reached the door to floor -1.

Blake began to unlock the door, using the key Ciana had in Anshul's leaf bag.

When the door was unlocked, Blake began to open it.

He checked both sides, and swiftly ordered us to get inside.

Blake didn't lock the door, for safety reasons.

"...the hell..." Blake called out.

He was looking at the right pawed side of the way.

There were no candle's lit.

"...Ciana, Clyde...go straight...that way will be where Anshul is...Ciana...you know how to enter my room, right..." Blake stated.

Ciana nodded, and then looked at me.

"you ready?" Ciana asked me.

I nodded, then looked at Mira and Amber.

"Clyde...please stay safe..." Amber said.

"I will, Amber...I promise..." I said.

I turned to Ciana, and started to follow her.

...

"you promised them you'd come back...why did you promise them?" Ciana asked me.

"umm, why wouldn't I?" I asked, confused.

"if something happens...you break that promise...you can't make promises, that are impossible to keep..." Ciana explained.

"hmm, nothing is impossible...if it is impossible...prove it...prove that it is indeed impossible..." I said back.

Ciana stayed silent for a bit.

We reached the room we needed to be at.

Ciana turned the lamp, and the door unlocked.

I was really confused, but decided to not ask questions.

The fireplace had some kind of mechanism and there was a fake wall.

I once again didn't ask questions.

Once we were on floor -2 ghost types started to become really common.

...

Third person POV

Blake explained that he'd use his rings to light up the area where they would be padding.

"...I've never seen this before...they were never off..." Blake said to himself.

Mira was shivering from fear.

She was really scared.

Amber tried to soothe her sister as much as possible.

"Blake...why is there no light?" Amber asked in a worried tone.

"...I don't know...I've never seen this before..." Blake answered.

"I don't like this at all..."

...

Clyde and Ciana were on edge.

"it's too quiet...where did all the ghost types go?" Clyde asked.

Suddenly, a gengar started to attack them

Ciana and Clyde used shadow ball on it, making it faint quick.

"we spoke too soon!" Clyde called out.

"let's go! Don't get spotted by those litwick! Other ghost type don't alert the king like litwick do!" Ciana said, now picking up the pace.

Clyde began to run as well.

Ciana was using a variety of powerful moves to clear the way.

Clyde covered Ciana's blind spots.

"look away, clyde!" Ciana warned, as she began to shine brightly.

Clyde took the hint, and looked away from Ciana.

An extremely bright flash emitted from Ciana.

The dazzling gleam attack knocked an abundance of ghost types away.

Other ghost type's that weren't knocked back or fainted, were blinded by the attack.

A ribbon wrapped around Clyde's paw, pulling him with Ciana.

"we have to keep moving! Anshul is on floor -3 we're getting close!" Ciana said.

Clyde was motivated by Ciana's calls.

He began to run fast.

The stairs were in sight.

"let's go!" Clyde said, using ice beam to freeze parts of the corridor.

Ciana and Clyde started to go down the stairs.

...

Blake sensed that something was wrong.

He noticed how all litwick were still there, but they were off.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, all of them turned on...they were all blue.

"...Mira, Amber! hide!..." Blake warned the two sisters.

Blake was too late.

The light shined on Amber and Mira, and an ear piercing screech was heard.

Blake was hiding behind a suit of armor, but the screech still made him dazed from pain.

Mira and Amber were on the ground, covering their ears from the ear piercing screech.

Litwick started to surround the two, and began to use imprison.

Mira began to cry.

Amber tried her best to defend her sister, but the imprison stopped her from using any moves.

Blake stayed silent and waited before taking action.

"...oh no...why now..." Blake thought in frustration.

Five guards came downstairs and put some steel cuffs on Mira and Amber their wrists.

"how did these two get down here!"

"oh, don't worry about that! The king will love these two! Hehehe!"

"true! Let's get them to the king!" the guards were cackling in their pathetic victory.

The litwick all disappeared.

"...this makes it more difficult...I'll have to ensure that they are safe...I'll have to follow them..." Blake spoke to himself.

He snuck away from the suit of armor, and began to follow the guards.

"stop struggling! Or I'll make you squirm!" the guards yelled at Mira.

She was sobbing from sadness.

"s-stop! Y-you're hurting her!" Amber snarled at them.

"like we give a damn!"

I wanted to do something, but I had to wait...otherwise it could end worse.

The door was still open, I had to get through, before they locked it

As they went through the door, I snuck low to the ground, close to one guards their legs.

When they didn't pay attention, I zipped past them.

I hid in a dark corner, observing what they would do next.

They didn't notice me, but Amber did.

She was looking at me with pleading eyes.

"...I'll stay close..." I whispered to her.

Tears were in her eyes.

Mira was whining and crying from terror.

"shut UP!!" one of the dark types yelled.

This caused Mira to cry and whine harder.

The Bisharp that was screaming at Mira, unsheathed a knife it had.

It began to walk to Mira.

Just as it was about to stab her, another Bisharp knocked the approaching Bisharp against the wall, and had its wrist blade against its neck.

"are you MAD! You wanna know what happens, if the king finds out we hurt one of his prisoners? He! Do you!" the Bisharp snarled, pressing it's wrist blade against the pinned Bisharp.

"she needs to shut up! I can't stand it, when they cry like kits!" the Bisharp snarled back.

"does it look like we have a choice! Stop yammering about it, and get a move on!" the Bisharp yelled, removing its wrist blade from the Bisharp's neck.

Mira continued to cry from terror.

She couldn't believe that the Bisharp almost stabbed her.

The steel cuffs were also very tight around her wrists.

She began to freak out, squirming to try and get out.

Amber looked extremely sad, as her sister was freaking out from terror.

The Bisharp's returned to their objective, getting Amber and Mira to the king.

They were walking up the stairs.

My luck ran out, as the guard Ciana distracted was back again.

It stood in front of the stairs.

There was no way I'd get around it.

I waited until the other dark types were away.

Once the coast was clear, I jumped in front of the Bisharp guard.

Just when he was about to say something, or call for help, I stopped it.

I used Throat Chop on the surprised Bisharp.

Any calls for help, or intimidating screams, were replaced by choking sounds.

The Bisharp had its hands on its neck, trying to breathe in air to fill its lungs.

My fangs then showed, as it looked in horror at me.

I leaped into the air, and used Double Kick. (drop kick)

Before the Bisharp had time to recover, I delivered a forceful Double Kick to its upper chest.

The Bisharp was launched back, down the stairs.

Its body made a rumble, as it tumbled down the stairs.

I went to look, ensuring that it was out cold.

It was indeed out cold.

I then went into the direction the guards went.

...

"umm, Ciana? What is that you're carrying with you?" Clyde asked, as they were padding down the stairs.

"hmm? I don't have anything...why do you think I'm carrying something?" Ciana asked in an innocent tone.

"I saw something in one of your ribbons...when you closed the graveyard gate..." Clyde recalled what he saw.

Ciana made a loud sigh.

She showed her ribbon, a sharp knife was being held in her ribbon.

Clyde tilted his head in confusion.

"why do you need a knife, Ciana?" Clyde asked.

"why do you think! That...rapist took full advantage of my body...I'm surprised he didn't go all the way.....I'm carrying this for self-defense...I-I-I---" Ciana got cut off.

"Ciana...you don't have to remind yourself of what he did to you...the knife is for self-defense, no further explanation needed..." Clyde stopped Ciana from fully recalling what happened several years ago.

Ciana had sensitive eyes.

She stopped thinking about what happened, and nodded her head.

"l-let's s-safe Anshul..." Ciana said, both of them were now down the stairs.

Clyde nodded at Ciana.

"now, let's unlock this door, and get to the cells." Ciana said, as she unlocked the door with the key they had.

Once they were on floor -3, they began to look around for the cells.

"Blake knows everything about this castle?" Clyde asked, as they wandered the corridors.

"well, let's just say that he knows more than the king...Blake got locked up, when he found out about us dating...Blake found a way to escape that room, and he started to wander through the corridors to not get bored...he has done that so much, that he's memorized the entire layout..." Ciana explained to Clyde.

"unbelievable...how could he do something so terrible..." Clyde wondered out loud.

The two eeveelutions came across a door.

It was covered in blood.

"hey...what is this door? Why is it so sinister looking?" Clyde asked out loud, as he was about to open the door.

Before Clyde could get a peek at what was inside, a ribbon and paw shut the door completely.

Clyde had one eyebrow raised at Ciana.

"why did you do that?" Clyde asked, a hint of frustration in his voice.

"if you know what's good for you, never open this door....it's his favorite room...Blake told me that it was once empty...it's no longer empty..." Ciana warned Clyde.

Clyde was about to protest, until he smelled a very strong scent.

His eyes became small, and he nodded his head.

Both Ciana and Clyde swiftly moved on.

...

Blake followed the dark types all the way to the throne room.

They forced Mira and Amber with them.

Mira continued to cry the entire way there.

Amber was filled with worry, even I could sense it.

The storm was still going outside.

There was a heavy rain going on, with the occasional thunder rumbling in the sky.

once the guards entered the throne room, I stayed outside, and listened closely.

"our highness, we have successfully captured two trespassers in the basement." One of the guards said.

They were a fair distance away from the throne.

"hmmm, what do we have here?" the king asked out loud.

"they tripped an litwick...they were heading to the mines for some reason." The guards further instructed.

Mira's eyes widened, when she saw the Umbreon looking at her.

She began to cry uncontrollably.

"could you just shut up now!" the Bisharp snarled at Mira.

The king got off of his throne.

"hmmm, I know you two cuties! Yea, you're the two that were instructed to leave!" the king snarled at Amber and Mira.

Mira couldn't stop crying.

The closer the king got, the harder she wined and cried.

The king padded close to Amber and Mira.

He inspected them from up close.

Blake watched from the big double doors.

The king stopped in front of Mira.

She began to cry louder.

That one Bisharp was getting very on edge.

"hmm, what is your name?" the king asked Mira.

Mira was way too scared to talk.

The Bisharp had enough of it.

"SHUT UP!" the Bisharp screamed in rage, as he was ready to use guillotine on Mira.

"NO!" Amber screamed.

*SLASH*

...

...

...

*aghack!!*

*cough, cough*

Blake watched what happened.

Amber wasn't watching.

It was only, when the cries of Mira were heard again, that Amber turned to look what happened.

There was a lot of blood...

The king had a bloodied paw.

And the Bisharp, had both hands on its throat.

It was chocking.

Mira looked up in horror, as the Bisharp was trying to keep itself from bleeding out.

The king turned his head.

It didn't take long for the Bisharp to fall back.

A puddle of blood formed, as life drained from its eyes.

"hmm, hehe...no mon touches my queen" the king said.

He picked Mira up, she was squirming in his grip.

"shhhh, it's all going to be fine, my queen" the king smirked when he said that.

He looked at the other guards.

"it seems that I've found my queen! Take care of this corpse...and keep an eye out for any trespassers...any other intruders should be killed and disposed of...got it!" the king snarled at the other guards.

Three of the four dark types nodded, and began to pick up the bleeding body.

There was one guard remaining, a drapion.

Mira was struggling in the king's grip.

"hmm, now that I have my queen...I can truly make you mine! Hehehehe!" the king cackled, licking his lips in a perverted way.

Mira began to cry again, struggling more against the king.

"leave her alone! You disgusting pervert!" Amber called out, struggling as well now.

The king began to pad away with Mira.

Blake waited until the guards were gone, before entering the throne room.

He listened to the king, as he was talking into a voice box.

Split POV

"a little update on the situation..." the king said.

"oh? Something positive perhaps?" the sableye talked back, keeping an eye on Anshul.

"hehe, it seems that we have some...visitors...."

Anshul's ears raised slightly.

He was silently listening to the conservation the two dark types had.

"visitors? Like who?"

"hehehe, two beautiful pokemon!"

"umm, could you be more specific?"

"well, one is a Leafeon...and the other is a Glaceon!"

Anshul was fully awake when he heard that.

Something was building up inside of Anshul.

"what! Does that just so happened to be the friends of the Flareon?"

"hehehe, they are! I called some guards to dispose of the Vaporeon...that rattata is probably sneaking around somewhere, heheheh!"

Anshul was getting really angry.

His temperature was raising rapidly, as he began to return to his senses.

"oh, hehe. What about the Flareon?"

"easy! If he doesn't start talking soon, we'll kill his leafeon friend! Hehehehe!"

Anshul felt an unfamiliar energy streaming through him.

He began to shake from anger.

His fangs bared, and his temperature was increasing faster.

"what about the Glaceon?"

"hehehehe! Well, my favorite Sableye! I've found myself...A NEW QUEEN! HEHEHEHE!"

...

Anshul was blinded by rage.

He began to shake from inner rage.

"I promise you...I'll keep you safe, Mira..."

Those words kept repeating themselves in Anshul's mind.

"well then, I have a cutie to claim! Be sure that you get that info from that Flareon!"

"hehehe. Seems like we are going to win!" the Sableye said.

Suddenly, the Sableye was aware of the increasing temperature.

"the hell is this?" he questioned out loud.

The sableye looked at Anshul.

His eyes widened in shock.

"quick! Give me a water bucket!"

...

The king turned his device off.

He began to drag Mira again.

"hehehe, don't worry my queen, as long as you obey, I won't hurt you, hehehe!" the king cackled.

As the king was distracted, Blake continued to sneak toward the Drapion.

Once Blake snuck close enough to the Drapion, he jumped onto its back with his claws out.

"...grrrrr..."

Blake used a combination of Crunch and Shadow Claw to attack the Drapion.

He struck his fangs and claws on exact locations, so it would hurt the most for the Drapion.

The dark type screamed in pain, it didn't last long, until it passed out from pain.

It hit the ground with a loud thud.

"what's this n---" the king turned around, and saw Blake.

Blake looked back at the king.

...

Amber crawled away, and used her vines to grab the key for her cuffs.

The king held his claw to Mira's neck.

"well, well, well. look who we have here..." the king said, grabbing his voice box again.

"kill him! Kill the Flareon now!" the king yelled.

"what is this thing! The water just evaporated!" the sableye yelled in frustration.

"KILL HIM!"

The sound of a knife getting picked up could be heard.

"HYYAAA!"

*hssssss*

"AAAARRRG!! My claw! It burned my claw! The bloody knife just melted in my bloody claw!" the sableye screamed.

Blake was staring in frustration, as he couldn't do anything yet.

The king kept his claw on Mira's neck.

"if you don't kill that Flareon right now, I'LL BE THE ONE KILLING YOU!" the king screamed into the voice box.

Mira was crying from fear.

"I'm trying! Just....*throws bucket at Anshul*....WHAT! the bucket just melted!" the sableye yelled, sounding very nervous.

"for darkrai's sake! JUST KILL HIM!" the king was getting extremely frustrated.

"hey...what is he doing!.....OH GOD!...NO!...NOT HEAT WAV----*static noises*"

The king's eye twitched.

He turned his focus back to Blake.

"so...we have a Flareon being tortured in my dungeons for information about your whereabouts...and now...you turn up...tell me...how about we make a deal?" the king said to Blake.

Blake stayed silent.

"how about, you kill that Leafeon right there...I'll accept you back into my castle...I'll finally have somemon to name queen...and you can find a nice mate as well." the king said.

Blake hesitated for a second.

The king was looking closely at Blake.

He grew a very wide smirk, when Blake turned toward Amber.

Amber showed real fear.

"B-Blake....w-what are y-you d-doing.." Amber said, holding one paw up.

Blake began to charge up a focus blast.

"N-NO! l-leave m-my s-sister a-alone!" Mira called out in distress.

"hehehe, shhh my queen! Just enjoy the show!" the king placed a paw on Mira's muzzle, muffling her.

"hmmph!!" Mira began to cry again.

The king got in a more comfortable position.

Just as Blake's focus blast was fully charged, he turned around, and fired the attack directly at the king.

The king had a shocked and surprised expression, as the powerful focus blast hit him right on his head.

He got blasted really far, sliding over the floor.

Mira was terrified, as she fell to the ground, the attack didn't hit her at all.

"...Amber...help your sister to safety...I'd never betray you..." Blake said to Amber.

Amber nodded, and used her vines to get Mira to safety.

She used the key to remove Mira's cuffs.

Mira was crying loudly.

"hehehe...that's so you! After so long! You haven't changed a bit!" the king snarled at Blake.

"whatever your name may be! I'm positive you changed it since the last time!" the king yelled.

"...none of your pathetic business...you haven't changed at all...still hiding behind a mask..." Blake snarled back, growling at the king.

"hehehe. After all those years...I still want to see you bleed! Come and meet your end!" the king yelled, charging at Blake.

Blake did the same, his claws unsheathing.

...

third person POV

Anshul was panting.

The steel cuffs that held him to the wall, melted.

He was on the ground, twitching slightly.

Then, he felt the rage in his body.

His temperature was going far beyond normal levels.

Anshul got up, and looked at the damage he caused.

Both the Sableye and Spiritomb were gone.

The door was gone...and the wall too.

Anshul was free to pad out.

He began to breathe hard.

"a.n.y.m.o.n...t.h.a.t...s.t.a.n.d.s...w.i.t.h...h.i.m...w.i.l.l...b.e...h.u.r.t" Anshul told out loud.

...

"what was that!" Ciana asked, slightly spooked.

"hmm, it seems that Anshul broke out...which means only one thing...Mira is in danger...if Mira is in danger...so is Amber...Blake is with them...we need to hurry..." Clyde said to Ciana.

Something ran by one if the corridors.

"did you see that?" Ciana asked.

"no...what was it?" Clyde asked.

*CRACK* "YYYAAA!!" *THUD*

Ciana was creeped out.

"there he is! Kill the Flareon! Don't show merc---*CRACK* EEHHH!!" a mon yelled, soon a loud thud followed.

"hit him! He can't take us all out!" another mon said.

There were many loud snaps and cracks being heard, as well as a lot of screaming.

"Ciana! That's Anshul! let's go!" Clyde said, following where the screams came from.

Ciana followed Clyde.

...

They saw a corridor with many defeated dark types.

All of them had broken limbs, scratch wounds and bruises.

"did he really do all of this!?" Ciana asked in disbelief.

"yep...he's the only mon I know that could cause this much harm...to such a big group..." Clyde said.

"we need to follow him! To ensure he's safe!" Ciana stated, now running down the corridor with defeated dark types.

Clyde began to run after Ciana.

...

Anshul was going berserk.

He didn't have any mercy for any dark types that got in his way.

All of the tactics Anshul used, were fast and painful.

No mon was killed, he made sure of that.

"halt you pathetic fir--*BANG*

Anshul took care of the dark type, with an iron tail to the chin.

It was instantly knocked out.

There were many dark types moving down the stairs to floor -2.

Anshul made short work of them.

He always went for their limbs, breaking either an arm or a leg.

It depended on what kind of mon it was.

Bisharp's would always get a broken leg or two.

Other dark types that fought back, got a broken arm and leg.

One wanted to be smart and jumped out exactly when Anshul made it to floor -2.

The dark type burned himself by how hot Anshul was.

Anshul got a grip on the dark type, shoved its head into the wall a few times, and then scraped its head across the wall.

When he reached the end of the corridor, Anshul broke its back.

A Weavile shot a shadow ball at Anshul.

He didn't care.

Anshul picked the Weavile up, and threw him up against the ceiling.

Once the dark type landed, Anshul broke both its legs and stomped him out cold.

A group of dark types tried to stop Anshul.

They quickly regretted their decision, when Anshul lit them all on fire with flamethrower.

Anshul put them out, by resistively shoving their sorry body into the stone walls.

He made sure that they were out cold, when he continued his rampage.

...

One dark type tried to hide behind a wooden door, in an empty room, to get behind Anshul.

He quickly teared the door off of the hinges, and began to break as many bones in the dark type's body.

Once Anshul was done with the dark type, he threw the mon against the wall, out of the room.

Just as some dark types were coming down the hallway.

Anshul padded out the room, and saw the dark types.

"time to die!" they yelled.

Anshul picked the door up, and threw it at the dark types.

He then threw the unconscious dark type at them, and then ran at them with quick attack.

Once Anshul was in the middle of the group dark types, he used heat wave, blasting every dark type really far away.

There was a Drapion stopping Anshul from proceeding.

Anshul charged a very powerful fire blast up, and shot it at the Drapion.

The dark type was send back into a wall, breaking its back on impact.

Anshul was going up the stairs, soon reaching floor -1.

...

"what is he doing! He's gone mad I'd say!" Ciana yelled, as he was padding past all of the unconscious bodies.

"that's Anshul for you...never make him mad..." Clyde advised.

"watch out!" Ciana warned Clyde, as some ghost types stopped them from continuing.

Clyde got them with a surf attack, having slight difficulty due to being indoors.

"come on! We can't lose Anshul!" Clyde said, running again.

...

Anshul was stopped by a big metal door.

He began to use flamethrower on the door.

It melted right through the door, making way for Anshul to continue.

Far more dark types were waiting on the opposite side of that door.

"what! He just burned a hole through a reinforced steel door!" one of the dark types yelled.

Anshul jumped through the melted steel door, and didn't hesitate to use heat wave again.

All of the dark types that were still standing, were shoved into a wall and beaten until they were out cold.

Anshul was still heating up.

He began to charge down a corridor, hitting any litwick with shadow ball to knock them out instantly.

A dark type turned the corner, exactly when Anshul used flare blitz.

The dark type was thrown into the door that connected to floor -1 and the lower level of the castle.

It broke the door immediately, when the dark type was thrown into the door.

Anshul ensured that it stayed down, by breaking its leg.

He then padded up the stairs, throwing anymon down the stairs that were after him.

...

Ciana and Clyde were getting attacked by many ghost types.

They were on floor -1 now, having followed the path of unconscious dark types.

The ghost types followed them from the lower floors, and were very angry.

Clyde had to defend Ciana, because there were many deadly ghost types attacking them.

An Doublade was trying to slash Ciana with its sharp blades.

In one of the rooms was a chandelier.

Both Clyde and Ciana were surprised, when its flames turned blue, and it began to attack them.

"what kind of lighting is this!" Clyde yelled, using shadow ball on a Gengar.

"those are Chandelure! They are really strong and tricky to defeat!" Ciana told, barely dodging a shadow claw from a Banette.

She charged up, and shot a mystical fire attack at the Banette.

The ghost type screamed in a high pitch, as it was on fire with blue flames.

It quickly dissolved into nothingness .

"what was that!" Clyde yelled in amazement, using iron tail to duel with a Doublade.

"mystical fire! especially helpful against ghost type's, as it burns their ghostly skin!" Ciana explained, using moon blast to stop Clyde from getting over run.

Clyde was trying to knock out the Chandelure, but the ghost type was actually really strong.

It used energy ball, hitting Clyde with a super effective hit.

"darn...that thing...is strong!" Clyde said, using water pulse on it.

The Chandelure went into a wall to avoid the attack.

It came back out the wall, when it missed.

"hey! That's cheating! Coward!" Clyde yelled, using aqua jet to get close.

The Chandelure was too slow to react, and got hit with a lot of force.

It got knocked back quite a bit from the attack.

Ciana defended herself with another mystical fire, hitting the Doublade dead on.

It made a deeper echoed scream, and disappeared.

Ciana was running out of energy, her body still not fully recovered from her painful scar.

Clyde used hydro pump on the Chandelure, effectively knocking it out.

"Clyde!...I'm running...out of...energy..." Ciana called out.

Clyde used aqua jet to close the distance in between him and Ciana.

He used surf, effectively knocking the ghost types away.

Ciana got on Clyde's back, as he began to run.

"where is the stairs!" Clyde yelled.

"that way!" Ciana called out, using her ribbon to point Clyde into the correct direction.

Clyde saw the busted down door, and instantly ran toward it.

"something tells me that Anshul was here!" Clyde joked.

"oh! Look at this mon!" Ciana said, looking at the dark type.

It had a leg twisted into the wrong direction, pretty much having a shattered kneecap.

"yep, that's so Anshul." Clyde said, running toward the stairs.

"are they...dead?" Ciana asked.

"no...Anshul never kills...not even anymon that hurts Mira or his friends..." Clyde answered.

"but...wouldn't be just easier to kill them instead?" Ciana stated.

Clyde shook his head.

"Anshul told me, that he'd rather let them live, so they can experience the pain when they wake up." Clyde answered.

"oh.....OH...that's both nice and very sinister at the same time!" Ciana called out.

"hehe, that's Anshul for you. Kind to his friends, but very lethal to anymon that threatens his friends!" Clyde said.

Clyde ran up the stairs, carrying Ciana on his back.

...

Once they reach the ground floor, they were greeted by a lot of unconscious bodies.

All of them had several broken limbs.

"omg, he's really getting mad now!" Ciana said.

"hmm? Why you think?" Clyde asked.

"well, look there." Ciana said, using her ribbon to point into a direction.

Clyde looked into the direction, and his muzzle fell open.

There, in the hallway, was Anshul.

He was fighting of several dark types on his own.

They would come close, and get grabbed.

Next, they would either get shoved into the wall a bunch of times, or they would get thrown into the ceiling.

There wasn't a ten second break between the sound of breaking and snapping bones.

Anshul was really going in on everymon that stood before him.

The dark types would only get the chance to use one move, before Anshul caught up to them, and knock them out cold.

He always made sure, that there was one limb broken.

Many passed out from the pain they received from the broken limbs.

Anshul was growling loudly, even using flamethrower every now and then.

Once the corridor was clear of conscious dark types, he moved onto the next corridor.

Ciana and Clyde followed Anshul.

They made sure to not get in the way of the rampaging Flareon.

...

It took Anshul no time at all, to have cleared several corridors of dark types.

There was one dark type on the run, but he didn't get far.

Clyde and Ciana noticed the big two wooden doors.

"isn't this the throne room?" Clyde asked.

"...yes...that's the throne room..." Ciana stated in a hurt voice.

Clyde peeked into the room, and saw Blake battling with the king.

"you'll die here, traitor!" the king yelled.

Ciana's eyes widened, when she heard that.

She pulled Clyde back.

"we need to help him!" Ciana said.

"what about Anshul?" Clyde asked.

"he'll be alright! He's been carrying us through this entire castle!" Ciana said in disbelief.

Clyde nodded, and charged into the room, using aqua jet.

Ciana ran into the room, and saw both Amber and Mira to her right.

She ran toward them, hoping to provide some aid.

"what's this! Another pest I'll cleanse from this world!" the king yelled, looking at Clyde.

"the only pest here, is you! You don't even deserve to be called a rattata! That's how much of a pest you are!" Clyde yelled, shooting a water pulse at the king.

The king was very fast for an Umbreon.

He dodged most of the attacks that were thrown from range, making it hard to hit him.

"hehehe, I see that your wonderful witch didn't make it! hehehe, I hope that wound made her bleed out very slow!" the king mocked Blake, unaware that Ciana was with Mira and Amber.

She made her presence known, by firing a super effective moon blast at the king.

"arrg! Such insolence! Which coward dares to----" the king got cut off, when Blake used shadow claw on him.

"you talk too much!" Clyde said, hitting the king with iron tail.

"grrr! Such pest you are!" the king snarled, using low kick to sweep Clyde's legs.

"what the!" Clyde stammered.

"time to DIE!" the king yelled, using mega punch on Clyde.

Clyde blocked the attack, but it was very strong.

He got away from his predicament, by using hydro pump.

It send Clyde some distance.

The king was too busy with Clyde, that he didn't realize that Blake was charging at him.

Blake used shadow claw again, getting a very heavy hit in the kings back, keeping his claws dug into the kings back.

He screamed from rage, and got Blake off.

The king charged up an attack.

He quickly got to Blake, and used revenge.

"insolent fool! Remember this move! Hehehe!" the king cackled, hitting Blake in his stomach.

Blake stood there, and didn't even flinch.

He grabbed the king's shoulders, and full on head-butted the king, knocking him far back.

"grrr!" the king growled, as he rolled over the floor.

Blake instantly began to charge at the king again.

Once Blake got near the king, he used payback, hitting the king back insanely strong.

"what! Impossible!" the king yelled.

"...you're finished...accept your destiny..." Blake said, not even hurt at all.

"hehe...hehehe...hehehehahaha! Never!" the king charged up a sinister attack.

Blake was too slow to get to him.

The king let loose a shock wave that was pitch black.

Blake got hit by the attack, and got thrown really far back.

He hit one of the walls, knocking the wind out of Blake's lungs.

"what the! I've never seen that move before!" Clyde yelled.

"that's night daze! A powerful move that only the darkest minded mons can learn!" Ciana yelled out.

"like it?! it's a gift from lord darkrai! Hehehe!" the king cackled, running at Clyde.

Clyde used ice beam, trying to hit the king.

The king dodged it, by jumping in the air.

He tackled Clyde, and unsheathed his claws.

"tell lord darkrai, I sent you!" the king yelled.

Just before the king could sink his claws into Clyde's neck, Clyde caught the attack.

"how...about...no!" Clyde said back through clenched fangs.

Clyde was getting overpowered.

Just as Ciana wanted to get up and do something, the big wooded double doors got destroyed, blasting a giant hole in the underside of both of the doors.

There was something that flashed toward the king and Clyde.

It was so fast, that the king only got time to look up, before a knee met his jaw.

"AGHACK!" the king let out a pained yell, before flying back from the power it had.

When Clyde looked up, a smirk grew on his face.

"hehehe! Oh you have DONE IT NOW!" Clyde yelled at the king, as Anshul stood in front of Clyde with a bloodthirsty look.

Mira's eyes widened, when she saw Anshul.

She started to run toward Anshul, but the king had other plans.

He used agility, flashing by Anshul and Clyde, to tackle Mira.

"EEEEPP!" Mira screamed in fear, as the king placed a claw on her neck.

"good riddance!" the king yelled.

Before he could even think about unsheathing his claws, very sharp claws dug deep into the kings back.

"AAARRGG! WHO DARES!" the king screamed in pain, as he was lifted into the air.

"...n.o...m.o.n...h.u.r.t.s...m.y...c.r.u.s.h..." Anshul stammered out, throwing the Umbreon all the way to the other side of the throne room.

"HHYYYAAA!" the king yelled, as he got thrown at an insane speed.

*CRASH!*

When the king made contact with the throne, one of his paws broke.

...

Mira looked up with teary eyes, at her savior.

She saw that Anshul had an enraged look on his face.

Her reaction was not happy however.

Mira began to cry loudly, slowly curling up into a ball.

Anshul turned to look at Mira, and became even more mad seeing her like that.

He began to pad toward the king, but Blake stopped him.

Anshul looked at Blake with a menacing look.

Blake had zero emotion from seeing Anshul like that.

Anshul decided to not tear the king apart just yet.

He didn't stop growling though.

Amber used her vines to get Mira back to her.

Clyde and Ciana stood beside Anshul and Blake.

"...it's over...you're outnumbered..."Blake said, holding back a growl.

"hehe *cough* hehe...you think you won..." the king got up, and fixed his broken paw, twisting it back into the correct place.

"what you don't realize...is that the battle is just beginning!"

"right...brother?" the king tilted his head, his grin showed his pointy fangs.

...

"brother? What?" Clyde questioned, looking confused.

"hehehe...yes...we're brothers...he probably didn't tell you this...hehehe." The king grinned more.

"...you...are...not...my...BROTHER..." Blake yelled.

Blake hasn't showed this much emotion yet.

Anshul just growled more.

"wait! Is he ACTUALY your brother?!" Clyde asked.

"...I don't see him as a brother...neither did he call me that...ever..." Blake said.

"but...if he is your brother, then how is Ciana your sister, when Ciana was the queen originally?!" Clyde asked extremely confused.

Both Blake and Ciana sighed deeply, and raised both of their right paws.

There was a scar on both of their paws, marking them forever.

Clyde's eyes widened.

"blood siblings? You are blood brother and blood sister?" Clyde realized.

"...yes...once we realized...that our life got ruined by that monster...we decided to become blood siblings...we see each other as real siblings...so don't call us blood siblings..." Blake explained.

Clyde nodded in a respectful way.

"I can imagine, that if you have something like that as a family member...that you'd want to forget about him instantly!" Clyde stated.

"...thank you for respecting us..." Blake thanked Clyde.

"ahahehehehe! Blood siblings?! How pathetic is that! Hehehe! I'll break that so called 'bond of you two!" the king yelled, unsheathing his claws.

Ciana padded forward.

"you'll never put a paw on anymon EVER AGAIN!" Ciana screamed, her ribbon moving in an odd way.

Then at light speed, she threw the knife she carried with her, at the king.

*SWOOSH*

"HA!! You missed!" the king taunted.

*THING*

Suddenly, a big chandelier that was suspended by a rope was cut by the thrown knife.

It came down extremely fast, right directly where the king stood.

The king looked up, and his eyes widened.

He didn't try to move away, as the chandelier made impact with the ground, crushing the king as well.

The room was filled with dust and sand, covering any sight from the king and chandelier.

...

It stayed silent for a while.

Then suddenly, Anshul began to growl again.

Ciana used fairy wind to clear the dust away.

They saw the king, crawling away from the chandelier.

However, something was....different.

The king was now totally black, no rings, no red eyes, just pure black.

"hehehe....I hope...that you realized...what you just did..." the king said, sounding different than before.

The Umbreon started to deform...almost reversed evolution.

It grew bigger, now standing on two legs, instead of four.

He grew longer fur from his head, and his muzzle grew larger as well.

Once it took the correct form, the mon started to become colored.

A Zoroark, was where the king was, just moments ago.

"ehehehe! You are all SCREWED!" the Zoroark yelled out, now having a different voice.

"UMM! Blake! Some answers please!" Clyde yelled.

"...he is a Zoroark...he was never a Umbreon..." Blake said nonchalantly.

"and you never found the time to state this to us!" Clyde yelled.

"...as I said...I hate him..." Blake said.

"hehehe, you know...I don't really find this fair...four against one...hehe, let's change that!" the king yelled, pressing a button on his voice box.

Marely a minute later, something flew into the throne room.

*caaww!*

A familiar Honchkrow flew toward the king, it was carrying something in its talons.

The Honchkrow dropped it above the king, and the king caught it.

It was a long sheathed sword.

"hehehe! Oh, I really like my odds now!" the king yelled, unsheathing the sword.

Ciana flinched heavily, when she saw the sword.

"what is it dear? Scared of the witch slayer! Hehehehe!" the king cackled.

"...sis...get back to the others...I'm not risking losing you to that monster..." Blake commanded.

Ciana looked at Blake, and nodded.

"where are you going!" the Honchkrow yelled, flying toward Ciana.

Clyde blocked the way, and used water pulse on the Honchkrow.

"you ain't getting past me!" Clyde yelled, running at the Honchkrow with iron tail.

The Honchkrow dodged, and the two began to battle.

"...Anshul..." Blake said.

Anshul turned his head.

"...he is fast...watch out for that sword...if we can break that sword, we can end this..." Blake whispered to Anshul.

Anshul nodded, and looked back at the king.

"hehehe! I guess I should make the first move!" the king yelled, now running at Anshul and Blake.

Blake was right, he was fast.

He reached Anshul and Blake in no time.

The king slashed his sword at Blake, who dodged it at the last second.

Anshul used iron tail on the king, but he blocked it with his sword.

Blake shot a dark pulse at the king, hitting him in the back.

The king used low kick on Blake, knocking him down.

Anshul dug his claws into the kings back, before he could stab Blake.

"curse you!" the king yelled.

The king used night daze again, knocking both Anshul and Blake back.

He then ran at Anshul with night slash, his claws glowing with black energy.

Anshul went with slash, and caught the king's claw with the sword in it.

They struggled for a bit, but Anshul overpowered the king, and threw him into a wall.

"arrg! Damn you!" the king snarled, running at Anshul with revenge.

Blake got in close with shadow claw, striking the king with the shadowy purple claw.

The king retaliated at Blake, kicking him in the back, and slashing his sword at Blake.

Blake reacted by sound alone, ducking under the sword, and jumping over the next swipe.

Anshul used iron tail in the kings back, hitting him hard.

The king used mega kick on Anshul, knocking him back to where Blake was.

...

Clyde was battling the Honchkrow.

It was using several strong moves, via the air.

Whenever it swooped down, it would try to use night slash on Clyde.

"hey! You overgrown Ducklett! Get down here!" Clyde yelled.

"hehe! How about no!" the Honchkrow cackled, shooting a dark pulse at Clyde.

It swooped down, while it used dark pulse.

Clyde blocked the attack, and charged up an iron tail.

The last duration of the dark pulse attack hit Clyde, but he got a hit with iron tail.

*caaww!*

The Honchkrow screamed.

"and now, huh?!" Clyde yelled, using aqua jet.

The Honchkrow flew back up, and used drill peck.

It got a powerful hit in on Clyde, shoving him far back.

"gahh! Grrr!" Clyde used hydro pump, but the Honchkrow used the pillars in the throne room to avoid the attack.

...

The king was swinging his sword around, heating the blade up.

It was turning red from how hot it was getting.

He then ran at Anshul and Blake again.

Blake tried to use double kick on the king, but he instantly regretted that decision.

The king stopped way sooner than Blake anticipated.

Anshul jumped in to help Blake.

He blocked the king's sword slash with iron tail.

Blake hit the floor, but still went with double kick.

Anshul was blocking the king's sword, and Blake double kicked the king right in his stomach.

The king flew back, stunned by what just happened.

"grrrr! Enough! Die!!" the king yelled, now inhaling a lot of oxygen.

Anshul could recognized this move in his sleep.

He got in front of Blake, and blocked any damage he could have received.

"...Anshul...what are you doing..." Blake yelled.

the king yelled, and used flamethrower.

Anshul blocked the damage.

Instead of hurting him tho...it made him way stronger than before.

Anshul had absorbed the fire's heat, and now used his own flamethrower.

The attack was far more powerful than the king's flamethrower, and a good portion of the throne room's floor was covered in flames.

The king had barely enough time to jump up and avoid most of the flames.

But, he couldn't stay in the air for long, and soon fell down again.

He burned his legs badly from the flamethrower.

The king then used his sword to use the heat from the flamethrower to his advantage.

The sword caught fire, and it stayed ablaze.

Anshul stopped his flamethrower attack.

The king began to run at the two again, far faster than before.

Blake ran at the king as well, using shadow claw.

The Zoroark was fast, and Blake wasn't backing down.

They both slashed at each other.

Both of them hit each other.

They wounded each other's shoulder.

The king didn't stop running tho, he went for Anshul as well.

Anshul's eye flashed, and he build up a lot of power.

When the king wanted to strike, Anshul used heat wave.

"HYYAAA!" the king screamed in pain, as he was thrown all the way to the other end of the throne room again.

There were some embers in his fur from the attack.

Blake grew a smirk when he saw that.

...

Clyde was having a lot of difficulty now.

The Honchkrow was using the throne rooms pillars to dodge any attacks that Clyde used.

Whenever Clyde missed, the Honchkrow would fire an attack, hitting the Vaporeon a lot.

Then, the Honchkrow began to flap it's wings at Clyde.

Clyde was confused, but didn't question it, and used ice beam to try and hit it.

The wind that was created by the Honchkrow flapping its wings, began to shape.

They became razor sharp winds.

Clyde was terribly hurt because of the attack, cutting many small wounds into his skin.

He flinched from the attack, not noticing that the Honchkrow was coming straight at Clyde.

When Clyde looked up, a talon was clenched around his neck, and he was shoved to the ground.

The Honchkrow dragged Clyde across the floor, and threw Clyde into a wall.

Clyde was pinned against the wall by the Honchkrow.

It came to Clyde's realization, that the Honchkrow was using super power.

"any last words!" the Honchkrow yelled, only moments away from breaking Clyde's neck.

"BURN!" Clyde yelled, and used scald from point blank range.

The Honchkrow screamed at the top of its lungs, as boiling water was shot right into its face.

It let Clyde go, and it fell to the ground.

Clyde shot an ice beam at the Honchkrow.

The Honchkrow was bleeding badly.

"*caaww!* screw this!" the Honchkrow cawed.

It flew up, and began to fly away.

"I'm out! Screw you! Screw you! And screw all of you!" the Honchkrow screamed in rage, first looking at Clyde, then at the king, and then at everymon else.

It fled the battle.

"traitor....TRAITOR!" the king yelled, now running after the Honchkrow.

he tried to hit it with dark pulse, but the Honchkrow dodged it.

instead, the Honchkrow turned around and shot its own dark pulse at the king.

"aarrgg! Next time I see you, you're dead!" the king yelled in frustration.

"there WON'T be a next time for you!" the Honchkrow cawed back.

"grrr!!" the king was very angry now.

He used agility in combination with mega kick.

The king zoomed toward Anshul, and kicked him against one of the pillars.

He wasted no time in running toward Anshul, attempting to stab him with the flaming sword.

Blake didn't like that very much, and used shadow claw.

The king stopped Blake, by using low kick.

He then ran at Anshul again.

Right when he reached Anshul, Clyde knocked him away with aqua jet.

"gaahh! Curse you!" the king screamed.

"give up already! We have you outnumbered!" Clyde yelled, using hydro pump.

The king dodged it, and hit Clyde with the sword.

"aarrrg! Damn!" Clyde yelled.

"DIE!" the king yelled.

"...t.h.e...b.i.g.g.e.r...t.h.e.y...a.r.e......t.h.e...h.a.r.d.e.r...t.h.e.y...f.a.l.l..." Anshul said.

Anshul used super power, and uppercut the king in the chin.

The king might, or might not have hit the roof, and made a very loud pained noise when he hit the ground.

He stayed down for a little.

Then, he got back up and used night daze, knocking Clyde, Anshul and Blake far back.

He rushed at Blake, swiping his sword rapidly.

"I hate you! Ever since you took her from me! Ever since you hatched! You've always been against me!" the king yelled, as he kept slashing at Blake.

Blake used shadow claw to slash back against the sword, and dodged it many times.

"...that's not true...you treated me like an outcast...from the start, you always chose some strangers over me...you always abandoned me...when you got the chance...then...the one person...that had my back...you...killed...her......with that...horrible...murderer......then...when we were alone...you continued to look down on me...I never talked back to him...yet...he hurt me...every night...I evolved...not because of you...nor him...I evolved...because of mother...that's how much...I loved her...then...y.o.u...t.o.o.k...h.e.r...a.w.a.y...f.r.o.m...m.e...I'll...avenge...you...mother..." Blake told, now extremely mad.

Blake began to really slash at the king.

The king had trouble keeping up, with the slashing of Blake's shadow claw.

Blake actually got some very nasty hits in.

"enough!" the king yelled, using mega kick.

Blake was too focused on attacking, that he got hit, and knocked back by the attack.

"it's time for you to join mother! Hehehe!" the king cackled, readying his sword.

"...Ciana...now..." Blake yelled.

Suddenly, the king lost his grip on the sword, and slashed Blake with nothing.

"what!" the king yelled in anger.

He looked back, and saw that Ciana had the sword, and threw it in the air.

Both Ciana, and Anshul began to use fire moves on the sword in the air.

"give that back!" the king yelled, his claws growing and readying to use night slash.

Clyde stopped the king, by using iron tail.

"hell no!" Clyde yelled, knocking the king back.

Blake took the opportunity, and used iron tail to swipe the king's legs, making him fall down.

The king rolled backwards, ending up on all fours.

Anshul was really concentrated in using flamethrower on the sword, while Ciana used all of her energy, to use mystical fire.

The sword was spinning in the air, making it extremely hot in temperature.

Once the sword started to fall to the ground, Ciana gave Anshul a boost, and threw him up.

Anshul grabbed the spinning sword, and began to fall down, aiming the sword toward the ground.

He dug the sword into the floor, as hard as he could.

Next, Anshul used all of his power, to grab the swords hilt, and used super power.

"what do you two think you're doing!!!" the king yelled in frustration.

Ciana continued to use mystical fire, heating the sword up more.

Anshul began to forcefully pull against the flat side of the blade.

It took Anshul most of his energy and focus, but the sword started to bend.

"NOOO!!" the king yelled, running toward Anshul.

He was too late.

By the time the king reached Anshul, he bended the sword in such a way, that the sword broke.

The king was furious, and used mega kick, sending Anshul flying at an incredible speed.

Anshul hit the far wall of the throne room, and didn't get up again.

He fainted, from the amount of energy he used.

"I'LL KILL YOU FOR THAT!" the king screamed at the top of his lungs.

Suddenly, Mira got in the way of the king.

She was standing in between Anshul and the King.

Blake and Clyde would not make it to Anshul in time, before the king could reach him first.

"MIRA! NO! GET BACK!" Amber screamed in horror, growing her vines to get Mira out of there.

"wanna die first! Fine then!" the king snarled, running at Mira with his claws unsheathed.

"leave"

"him"

"ALONE!"

Mira then charged an extremely powerful attack.

Just as a lightning strike hit just outside the castle, from the storm that has been going on the entire morning, Mira fired her attack.

Before the king could reach Mira, she used hyper beam.

The beam got a direct impact with the king.

He was shot at an incredible speed.

There was no hope left for him.

The beam carried him all the way through the throne room.

Not once did the beam slow down.

"NNYYAAAA!!" the king yelled in pain, as wounds started to rip into the kings skin, from the sheer amount of energy the attack had.

Once the king made contact with his throne, the beam stopped.

An explosion was caused, when the beam stopped.

Mira was breathing rapidly, before collapsing.

"MIRA!" Amber reached her sister, the second she collapsed.

She didn't hesitate to use aromatherapy on her sister.

Both Blake and Ciana were stunned from what just happened.

"...Ciana...go help them...quick..." Blake said, turning toward the king.

Clyde shook his head, breaking himself out of the trance he was in.

He followed Blake.

Once Blake reached the throne, barely anything was left of the throne.

The king was laying in the rubble, one leg and one arm completely broken beyond repair.

"*cough, cough, cough*....ehh...is...this...what...you...wanted...*cough, cough*" the king spoke in a very soft tone, obviously hurt from the devastating attack.

"*cough*...do...it...*cough, cough*...kill...me...*cough*" the king said.

"...no..." Blake refused.

"what?" Clyde asked confused.

"...I'm not...killing him..." Blake refused again.

"why not? He has caused you so much misery? Yet, you refuse to kill him?" Clyde spoke.

"...he just so happened...to be my only true remaining family member...my brother..." Blake spoke.

"do...you...*cough*...think...I...wanted...any...of...this.......all...i...*cough*...wanted...was...to...be...happy......to...not...be...alone......*cough*...now...look...at...me..." the king spoke, now coughing up blood.

"...brother...I...I..." Blake didn't know what to say.

"...say...hello...to...mother...for...me..." the king spoke, now bleeding through some of his wounds.

The king unsheathed his claws, and slashed his own neck.

"*cough, cough*"

".....lo-ord....d-dar-rkr-rai......" were the king's last words.

His eyes rolled back, and his body went limp.

Blake stayed silent, just scanning over the king's body.

"Blake..." Clyde said.

Blake looked at Clyde.

"let's leave..." Clyde said.

Blake reluctantly nodded his head.

Clyde wrapped his arm around Blake's shoulder, and began to pad away.

...

They padded to the rest of the group.

Ciana was busy with healing Mira and Anshul.

Amber used aromatherapy, to help with the healing.

"will they be okay?" Clyde asked.

Ciana looked up at Clyde, first staring at Blake.

"Anshul fainted, because he ran out of energy...but Mira...she fainted...from fear..." Ciana stated, sadness in her voice.

Before Clyde could scream WHAT really loudly, Ciana continued.

"it is that Amber was there so quick, otherwise it might have ended way worse for her..." Ciana added, hope returned to her voice.

"how did she faint from fear?!" Clyde asked.

"she panicked...the king got extremely close to her...so close, that she fainted from it...she's doing far better now..." Ciana said.

"oh thank Arceus..." Clyde spoke.

"Blake?" Ciana asked.

Blake looked up.

"did he..." Ciana didn't finish her sentence.

"...he...did it...himself..." Blake answered, sounding somewhat sad.

"brother? Is everything alright?" Ciana asked, placing a ribbon on his shoulder.

"...I'll be alright...we should get out of here now..." Blake said, sounding less sad now.

Ciana nodded.

"I'll carry Anshul." Clyde said, getting him on his back.

"Mira...it will all be ok...I promise you." Amber said, gently placing Mira on her back using her vines.

They all left the throne room.

...

Amber's POV

My sister was unconscious.

I could feel the fear in her, streaming from her body.

She would shiver every now and then.

Clyde was carrying Anshul.

He didn't look well at all.

His fur was a mess, and there were some scratches on him.

Blake leaded the way.

There was no mon holding us back.

Ciana was keeping close to Blake.

We padded down the stairs, and entered floor -1.

There were an abundance of unconscious dark types scattered all over the place.

"woa...umm, how did this happen?" I asked, scanning over the many dark types.

"Anshul did...he broke out himself...and hehe, he wasn't very happy." Clyde answered, looking at Anshul.

"I hope he'll be ok..." I stated.

"he will, Amber...just like Mira." Clyde said.

I grew worried over my sister.

She has gone through too much.

...

We reached the mines.

"...it's dark in here...so we need some torches..." Blake said.

Ciana got a torch, and held onto it with one of her ribbons.

Blake used his rings to light things up.

"...we need to take a right somewhere...it's pretty hidden, so heads up..." Blake said, padding into the mineshaft.

I stayed close to everymon.

Clyde was staying on edge, rapidly scanning over the directions where something could jump out.

"why do they need a mineshaft?" Clyde asked.

"...they used it to mine many different ores...but after a while, they ran into a dead end..." Blake answered.

"oh...ok...but where are we going?" Clyde asked.

"...since they abandoned the mine, no mon came down here...they never checked for anything, not even for any connecting caves...I think I found a cave that leads outside..." Blake said.

"when did you find this?" I asked, now curious.

"...while I was kept prisoner in that room...I got to explore the entire mine, and noticed some air currents as well..." Blake answered.

"well, let's hope they are still there." Clyde spoke.

...

We all continued to pad further into the mineshaft.

There were some moments, where we had to go down deeper underground.

Blake stopped every now and then, to check if the embers of Ciana's torch would flow into a different direction.

It took a long time, but when Blake stopped once, the embers of the torch were flowing to the left.

Both Ciana and Blake began to shine their torch, and rings to the right.

They saw a crack in the wall.

"...everymon...back up, and protect your eyes..." Blake said, getting ready to use focus blast.

I backed up, and protected Mira with my vines.

Ciana used her ribbons to Block any fragments of rock that could hit us.

Blake used Focus blast, and blew a hole into the wall.

When the dust cleared off, Blake looked at what was behind the crack.

"...there is a cave here..." Blake said.

He went through the hole, and ended up in a somewhat bigger cave.

"...it's safe...follow me..." Blake said.

Ciana went last, to ensure that we went in.

My vines kept a firm grip on Mira, ensuring that she stayed on my back.

Clyde went through after me, being sure not to hit Anshul's head on something.

...

"...look there..." Blake said.

Further ahead, there was light.

We all made our way over to the light.

Once we reached it, we identified it as an exit.

Outside, was a canyon.

"...this must be the canyon by the castle..." Blake stated.

"I remember that, when we arrived yes...we were looking at the other side, and turned back then." Clyde told.

"now that you say it, I remember that as well, yes." I agreed.

"but...where do we go now?" Clyde questioned out loud.

"...we'll split up for a little...give us a sign when we found something..." Blake said.

We all nodded, and separated up.

...

It didn't take long at all for me to find another cave, this time, it was on the opposite side of the canyon.

"I found something!" I called out.

Blake came over with Ciana.

Clyde had Anshul on his back.

"...looks like another cave...let's hope it leads far away from...there..." Blake said, looking back at the other side of the canyon.

"well, only one way...and that is forward..." Clyde said.

We went into the cave system.

...

After a long time of padding, we didn't come across an exit yet.

"I think we should rest here...looks like a safe place..." Clyde said, yawning soon after.

"yea...we've...been...going...for...a...while...now..." Ciana said, panting.

Blake nodded as well, using his rings to give us light.

We all laid down close to each other for warmth.

It didn't take long at all for us to fall asleep.
