Molly's POV
'It's locked' I say and back away from the door.
'Lemme handle this' roisin steps forward.
She kicks hard on the door causing it to fall.
'After you' she says and we all walk inside.
'Where is he?'
I scan the room.
'What's that?' I ask pointing over to black smudges along the walls.
We all walk over to investigate.
'Is that?...'
'Ink?'
Zach's POV
'They said they'd be back by now' I say looking for the guys.
'They'll be here soon' Burt reassures me.
An hour later they still haven't come back.
'We should go look for them' I say.
'Yeah, let's go. we'll set up shelter once we find them' Burt agrees and we set off.
'I seen them go this way' I point to a mountain/cliff that I saw them head towards.
'Well lets go then' Burt says and we set off up the mountain.
'If you three would have helped us out fast enough we wouldn't be in this situation!' a girl complains.
'Well if you two wouldn't have been so stupid and got into this mess in the first place none of this would have happened!' a familiar voice shouts back.
'Shut up Tyson!' the girl shouts.
Tyson?
'Guys! you there?' I call out.
'Zach! over here' Steve calls back.
I follow his voice to a structure made of bedrock.
'What's going on?' Burt asks.
'Ask them' bash says, pointing to a girl and a boy in the corner of the room.
The girl rolls her eyes whilst the boy steps forward.
'Zach, you have to get us out' he says and explains their situation.
'Go get help, and come back with more people' Steve says.
'Who?' I ask.
'There's a small oak wood cabin at the edge of the sea,beside a mushroom biome.' the girl speaks up.
'You'll know who they are. just say you know where kellie and Jason are' she says.
So her name is kellie.
'On it. you guys will be okay while we're gone?' Burt asks.
'We'll be fine. now hurry!' bash says and we set off to find help.
Kyle's POV
'Ink?'
Great, just great.
Ink.
'The squids... they did something to him' jerome says.
'That's why he's been acting weird'
It all makes sense now.
'But wait. what happened to kellie and Jason though?' I ask.
'Something's controlling him, apparently at night. He must have brought them to the squids' Tyler says.
Of course!
They want a bigger army so they took them.
'Where are they then?' Amy asks.
'Under the sea' roisin says.
'Nah. that's too obvious.' Molly speaks up. 'they'd take them somewhere we wouldn't find them' she states.
'Molly's right, they have to be somewhere far away' Alesa agrees.
'We need to go searching then' I say.
It's dark outside so we might be able to see sky somewhere.
Suddenly there's a knock on the door.
Precious pushes me towards the front door.
I open it slowly and peak outside.
'hello?' I call out.
'Kyle,it's Zach. You have to let us in' Zach says from outside.
'it's Zach' I say and let him in.
Burt follows behind him.
'how did you find us?' I ask.
'a girl named Kellie told us to get you'
'where are they?' Molly asks.
'pretty far away' Burt shrugs.
'well, let's go!' Molly says and runs outside.
'I guess we're going now' I say and we all go outside.
Kellie's POV
'psst. Kellie wake up' Im awoken by Jason shaking me.
'what?' I groan
'I think I hear someone' he whispers.
I listen.
Nothing.
'there's no-one there. Just go back to sleep' I say and close my eyes.
*dream*
'Kellie! Help!' the screaming coming from my little sister startles me.
'Laura! Where are you!?'
'help me!'
I run straight forward to see a squid holding her.
'put her down!' I shout.
He takes out a blade.
'please! Don't hurt her'
They seem to be vanishing, fading away.
'Laura! Come back!'
But its too late.
*end of dream*
I feel something, slimy.
It runs over my arm and grabs me.
I wake up with a squid in my face.
Everyone else is asleep.
I just watch them as they drag the others outside of the room.
If I run now, I can get help.
I quietly stand up walk towards the door.
I sneak past the squids, still staring at them.
Where are they taking them?
'where do you think you're going'
I turn around to see sky in front of me with his arms crossed.
'sky please' I whisper.
'it doesnt have to be this way.' I beg him.
For a second his eyes change back but they turn red immediately after.
He pulls me towards the squids.
'look who almost got away' he says throwing me to one of the squids.
I struggle to get out of their grip but it's useless.
'I told you. They can have you first' sky laughs.
'did you guys hear something?' Tyler asks.
Tyler!
'guys over he-' a slimy hand covers my mouth.
'shut up' sky whispers.
'I think it came from over here' Mitch says. I see them walking the wrong way.
I try to scream but the squid has a tight grip on me.
'now what?' the squid asks.
'what'd you mean? Hurry before they come back' sky commands.
Tyson's POV
I feel myself being dragged along the hard ground.
What's going on?
I see Kellie being held by a squid.
Muffled screams come from their direction.
I need to do something.
'I think it came from over here'
No! Wrong way!
'over here!' I shout as loud as I can.
A squid runs over to me with a diamond sword.
'shout one more time and your head comes off! You hear!?'
I nod slowly.
Hopefully they heard me.
Tyler's POV
'over here!'
Who was that?
'Tyson?' Zach asks.
We all run in the direction of the calls for help.
I peak around the corner.
Sky is taking to a squid.
And who's that.
Kellie struggles in the squids grip,her mouth covered by his 'hand?'
'they're over there' I whisper.
'three....two.....one!' Mitch says and we all run around the corner.
'HEY!' Molly shouts.
'PUT HER DOWN!' Ty joins in.
'and why would I do that?' the squid snarls.
Sky has a diamond sword in his hand.
We all step forward.
' COME ANY CLOSER AND I KILL HER!' he shouts at us.
His voice is cold,deep.
Not like him at all.
'sky, put the sword down' Ty says stepping forward.
'I SAID DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!'
'Ty get back' Mitch says.
I see Jason unconscious behind them.
I nudge Kyle and point to where he is.
They don't seem to be looking at us so we sneak past them to get to Jason.
Molly's POV
We all stand still.
Why is sky doing this!?
Everytime one of us moves the blade gets closer to Kellie.
'molly' Mitch whispers.
'look up' he says. I look to the sky to see the sun slowly come up.
He's okay during the day so maybe he'll stop.
'Adam.' Alesa says.
'what!?' he spits.
'it's me, alesa. You need to stop. Think about what you're doing' she says and steps forward.
This time he doesn't move.
'whatever they did to you, you can overcome it' she says and gets even closer.
I notice his eyes slowly changing.
But the sun isn't out...
'drop the sword. Please?' she asks.
He looks at her and drops the sword.
'alesa' he says and pulls her into a hug.
She did it!
'isn't this sweet' the squid says.
Crap!
'put her down squid!' sky's voice is back to normal.
' but you said we could have her first.'
The squid smirks.
'I didn't know what I was saying' sky says.
'it's too late now. I think we'll be leaving now' he says.
'no!' I shout.
The squid falls forward, letting go of kellie.
A sword is stuck in his back.
'don't mess with my friends' Jason says we all look up to see him.
He must've stabbed the squid from behind.
'you okay?' he asks Kellie.
'Jason!' she says and hugs him.
'thank you'
'ah, it was nothing really' he says.
Kellie looks up at him and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
Jason immediately goes red in the face.
'jellie!' I shout out.
Kellie runs over and hugs me.
'I was worried about you' I say.
'We all were'
'I'm sorry you guys. I didn't know what I was doing' sky apologises.
'get over here' she says and he joins in the hug.
'GROUP HUG!!!' Tyler shouts.
They all climb on top of us in a group hug.
'I can't breathe' Kellie says.
'oops. Sorry'
Alesa's POV
We all get off of kellie.
'lets get back to the house.' sky says.
Everyone agrees and we set off back home.
'what a crazy day huh?' Megan says.
'you can say that again' Jason says.
'I'm just glad it's over' I say.
'ditto to that' Bash says.
' so were are you guys living?' Kellie asks them.
'nowhere, yet' Zach says.
' well you could always live with us.' Tyler says.
' that'd be great. Thanks' Steve says.
' we'll have to expand then' roisin says.
' that's fine'
We arrive home minutes later.
All of us are exhausted.
' well goodnight' I say.
' we have some spare wool so you guys can make a bed'
'okay, goodnight.'
Kellie runs into her room.
'I missed you bed!' she says burying her face in the pillow.
' goodnight Kellie' I laugh.
'night'She says and closes her door.
We all go into our rooms to sleep,
