"Onee-chan, don't go!" A little girl yelled, grabbing onto the sleeve of her older sister, her mother and father chuckling at the exchange.
This little girl was 5 year old Natsuki Uzumaki, she was currently trying to stop her 10-year-old sister, Haru Uzumaki, from starting her first day at the Shinobi Academy.
"Okaa-san," Haru whined. "Can you tell Natsuki to leave me alone?" She asked, annoyed.
Haru was already two years older than most people at the academy. When she had said she wanted to be a shinobi like her mother and father two years ago, they'd decided to train her for 2 years before sending her to the academy, she could even activate her Byakgun.
Though the training had sort of made going to the academy pointless for her. Thus, she was two years older than she'd usually be if she'd enrolled when she was earlier.
Nonetheless, Haru Uzumaki stood at 150 cm. She had dark brown hair like her mother and light blue eyes like her father. Instead of being energetic and exuberant like her father, Haru was instead a relaxed person like her mother.
At least most of the time she was.
When she was annoyed, she'd whine, ignore people, and would often huff cutely. Now was one of those times.
She really loved her younger sister, but at times she'd just be downright annoying. Natsuki would often ask Haru to play with her and would be sad if she was even remotely mean to her, making her feel bad.
Natsuki, on the other hand, Idolized her sister and looked up to her. She thought that Haru was a great sister and often wished that she had more time to spend with her sister. She of course had her own friends to play with but it wasn't the same as spending time with her sister.
She had blonde hair and blue eyes, taking after her father. Natsuki was also energetic, so much that she could play all day and still be filled with energy.
"Natsuki, let your sister go." Hanabi said to her daughter.
"But, I don't want her to go." She said, becoming sad.
"When I come back, I promise to play with you all day, ok?" Haru said to her younger sister. Natsuki reluctantly nodded as her older sister headed toward the door.
"Bye Otou-san, Okaa-san!" She waved with a smile on her face as she left. Naruto and Hanabi could only smile as their daughter slowly grew up.
Hanabi felt like she and Naruto were great parents. It'd felt like only yesterday Naruto was proposing to her, now they had two wonderful daughters. They couldn't be any happier than they were right now. Hanabi mainly stayed home to take care of Haru and Natsuki, but occasionally went out on missions.
As for her clan, she and her father had made up a few years ago, but their relationship consisted only of occasionally conversations and letting Haru and Natsuki visit their grandfather.
She and Hinata, on the other hand, had made up completely and were frequently in touch with one another. She was a loving aunt to Haru and Natsuki and had moved on from what had happened between her and Naruto. She often busied herself in clan matters though as she became clan head, while her father joined the council.
Naruto meanwhile, had taken up his Sensei's position as Hokage, though the title was nothing compared to his title as a father. He loved his daughters more than anything, and would gladly do anything for them.
He never expected himself to have a family, but Naruto had to say, having a family was one of the best things to ever happen to him. He was grateful for them and was proud of how far he and Hanabi had come. Though he wasn't the only person in the Konoha 12 to have a family.
Everyone else in the Konoha 12 was either pregnant or already had a child save for Rock Lee, Tenten, and Hinata. Sakura and Sasuke were the first to have a child 4 years ago, while everyone else followed shortly after. All of their kids were friends with each other, except for Haru since she was 5 or 6 years older than everyone else.
"So, Natsuki, I'm going to be making a banana cake for dessert tonight, would you like to help?" Hanabi asked, knowing Natsuki would help. Natsuki smiled in excitement.
"Yes, please!" She said, going to the kitchen with her mother.
Naruto smiled, unlike 10 years ago, Hanabi's cooking had improved, and she could cook nearly any food available in Konoha. Eating her meals were pleasant. Nonetheless, Naruto was having a great morning. And so was Haru.
Class was great for Haru. They'd mainly introduced themselves and demonstrated their abilities, and Haru did amazing on the demonstration. She had amazed everyone with her ability to walk up a tree and had gotten full marks in Kunai throwing. It was safe to say that she was the best in her class.
Though there were some annoying parts. A few boys kept bothering her telling her that she was pretty and that she was talented. Meanwhile, a couple of girls kept giving her mean looks for some reason, she didn't think she did anything to them. She did, however, discover that standing out was annoying, and wished that she hadn't stood out as much as she did.
Even though Haru knew just about everything that was being taught so far, she still found class confusing. Well, it was more like her classmates she found confusing.
LATER THAT DAY
Haru was back from the academy, and the day was starting to come to a close.
"How was your first day at the academy?" Naruto asked Haru as the family of 4 ate dinner together.
"It was easy, but also confusing." She responded, taking a bite of her Udon. This surprised Naruto and Hanabi
"Confusing? In what way?" Hanabi asked. They thought that she'd be more than prepared at the academy. Maybe they didn't train her hard enough?
"Stupid boys keep telling me that I'm pretty and are always bothering me." Naruto nearly spit out his noodles. He really hoped that Haru wouldn't be involved with boys this early, or at all. Thankfully, she didn't seem like the type of person to chase after boys.
"Just ignore them, they'll stop bothering you eventually." At least Hanabi hoped so. Meanwhile, Natsuki barely understood anything they were talking about it.
"I hope so." Haru responded.
After dinner, the family ate the cake Hanabi and Natsuki had baked earlier, though not before Natsuki arguing that Haru had a bigger piece of cake than she did.
"But it is! She has a bigger piece than I do!" Natsuki whined.
"No it isn't, ours are the same size." Haru sighed, too tired to be annoyed.
"Why don't you two just switch then?" Hanabi suggested. Haru shrugged and swapped plates with Natsuki.
Once they all finished their cakes, Naruto decided that it would be best to turn in for the night.
"I think I'll head to sleep now, you guys should do the same." Naruto said.
"But I'm not tired!" Natsuki yelled.
"Natsuki, if you don't go to sleep then I won't let you have dessert tomorrow." Hanabi said , causing Natsuki's face to fall.
"Fine." She mumbled, pouting.
After all the dishes were clean, Naruto went to go and say goodnight to Haru, while Hanabi did the same for Natsuki.
"Sleep well, my little spring flower." Naruto said, planting his lips on her forehead. Haru giggled at her father's nickname for her.
"Goodnight, Otou-san." She smiled as he left the room.
Meanwhile, with Natsuki and Hanabi.
"I'm not even tired." Natsuki muttered.
"If you don't sleep now, then you'll be asleep all day tomorrow, meaning you won't be able to play with your friends and your sister, do you want that?" Natsuki shook her head. Hanabi noticed that she was still sad about having to go to sleep, so she decided to cheer her up.
"How about this? Tomorrow, we can make anything you want for dessert tomorrow." Natsuki's eyes lit up at that. She quickly turned over to get ready for the next day.
Hanabi smiled as she made her way toward her and Naruto's room. She thought that they were wonderful parents, and was so happy for her family.
As Naruto joined her in their bed, she asked him a question.
"Naruto-kun?"
"Yes?"
"Are we good parents?"
"Yes, we are." He responded, kissing her before turning the lights off.
"Goodnight, firecracker."
"Goodnight, Naruto."
As she closed her eyes, Hanabi wondered what would've happened had she decided to drink at a different place all those years ago. But, Hanabi didn't think she cared that much, because she was glad that she met Naruto that day, and was glad that everything that happened, happened. She wouldn't change a thing had she ever had the power to.
Though the event that led to them falling in love was a coincidence. Hanabi was grateful, grateful for everything that had happened. She now had a husband and two daughters.
She now had a family

I know my story has its faults, and that at times it may seem confusing and things that felt unnecessary happened, but thanks for putting up with it. Also, I know the ending is very abrupt, but I felt like it had to be or else I wouldn't be able to end it properly.
