Sloth woke to something breaking downstairs. "huh?" He got up and peeked out the bedroom door to see the front door in chunks on the floor and part of it still on the hinges, only the moonlight was making light. Sloth was freaking out when suddenly, he was pulled out the room by paws. He was about to scream but then he realized it was his mom. "Quick get Bubbles" She whispered and Sloth's father, a flareon rushed past them and pulled Bubble out. "What's going on?" Sloth whispered. "Someone got in the house. Here. Take them to our room and open the window. Remember that bush that you want to cut down?" Mom nodded "okay if whoever it is gets past me, jump out, land in the bush and run to the town." Their dad said. "But what about you?" Bubble asked and small tears were starting to form in her eyes "I'll be fine, now go quietly." He kissed Bubble on the forehead same with mother and Sloth. He then started down the stairs. Their mom rushed them into the bedroom, and they huddled by the window just listening... "Hey!!" "KROOK!!" "Get out of my house!"
The sound of burning and punches landing came from downstairs. The sounds continued with the occasional groan or yelp. Until the sound of something ripping was heard and a sick wet thud. "KROOK!!" the invader cheered in victory. Bubble started crying thinking the worst had happened Mom tried to comfort her when heavy footsteps started going up the stairs. "KROK!!!" It was so loud and so close!
Their mom quickly grabbed them and jumped out the window into the bush. Their mom quickly hopped out the bush with Bubble in her mouth and Sloth on her back. "KRO!!" The sound of the door breaking came from the tree house. Sloth and Bubbles mom started sprinting to the town. "Mom! Is Dad going to be okay?" Bubble asked with tears going down her face and her ears drooped. Mom swung Bubble onto her back and said, "He's going to be okay, he's your father, he's made it out of worse situations"
"Mmmhmm..." Bubble quietly whimpered. Suddenly from out of the bush a Midday Lycanroc jumped out and hit their moms back leg. Knocking her down and launching Sloth and Bubbles into a nearby bush. "Kids!" their mom called and turned to see their attacker. "Listen you don't want to do this" "LYCAN!!" It jumped and bit her tail and swung her into a tree, then bit at her leg and thrashed violently. Their mom was lying on the floor dazed and in pain. "Momma!" Bubble and Sloth called as they were pulled out the bush by two Aracnines. "Kids!" their mom called. The Arcanines put the two eevees on the floor and pinned them with one paw each. "LET US GO!" Sloth shouted, struggling to free himself Bubble was just crying. "What do we do with them, boss?" "Eat em" The Lycanroc Snarled. "NO!!" "Momma!" Bubble and Sloth cried as the arcanines licked their chops and was about to bite when a Garchomp lunged at the arcanines piercing them with its claws. "GARRR!!!" "Grah!" an arcanine coughed blood and tried to get away but the Garchomp bit down on its neck ending its life. Sloth and Bubble ran past the terrified Lycanroc and snuggled their mom's side. "It's okay littles ones, it's okay..." She attempted to get up but fell. "mamma!" Sloth cried. Bubbles put herself under her mom's front right paw to help her stand. "LYCAN" The Lycanroc lunged at the Garchomp who simply smashed its tail into the Lycans Skull. The Garchomp walked over to Sloth, Bubble, and their mother. Sloth bounced in front of it "HEY LEAVE US ALONE!" Sloth growled at it. The Garchomp looked at him curiously. "Sloth stop," Their mom said. The Garchomp lowered its head and picked up Sloth in its mouth. "H-Hey put me down!" Sloth panicked and squirmed. "Take them to Tarron, '' Sloths mom said. "What about you?" Bubble asked, hugging her tightly "I'll join you all soon, just go with Drago" "Drago?" Sloth asked and looked at the Garchomp, Bubble let go of their mom and slowly approached the Garchomp who picked her up and plopped her on his back. "go, I'll catch up later."
The Garchomp flew off in the direction of the town, "stay safe little ones..." She whispered then heard growling from behind her...
Garchomp landed in front of a red brick house in the town. "Hey, isn't this uncle's place?" Sloth asked and Drago knocked on the door. "Huh?!" A Umbreon opened the door. "Kids?" "Hi uncle!" Bubble waved. Sloth sheepishly waved. "Why are you being carried by a Garchomp?" Their uncle asked. "He's Drago, moms' friend I think, she told us to come with him and he brought us here." Bubble said. "Oh, how is my sister?" He asked
"She got hurt and so did Dad, someone broke in and we had to run, and we got ambushed by some wild ones." Sloth said remembering the Arcanines, the Lycanroc and what he thinks was a Krookadile. "oh, I'm glad that you came but stay with Aunty, uh... Garchomp or Drago which do you prefer?" he asked Drago.
Drago gently put Sloth down and Sloth jumped behind his uncle. Drago gave a deep chuckle and angled his tail like a slide and Bubble slide down
and hugged her uncle. "Alright you two warm up, I'll go get rescuers." Their uncle said and grabbed a dark red scarf. "Do you prefer Garchomp or Drago?" He asked Drago 'Drago'. 'I'll head to the forest, you get the emergency response team and I'll meet you at their house.' Their uncle nodded and went off into the dark street, his golden bands glowing.
Drago took off and started to the forest. Sloth and Bubble were left in the home...
when suddenly they were pulled into a hug from behind. "Hello!" Their aunt smiled. "Aunty!" Bubble returned the hug; Sloth hugged their aunt leafeon back.
"how are you?" she asked. "we are just-" "Cold, very cold, Aunty." Bubble cut him off. "we can't have that. Flame!" She called and a Flareon came running down the stairs. "Yes?" he said. "Could you start the fire?" "Sure" He wobbled off the stairs and down into the living room where a pile of wood surrounded by brick as a safeguard in case the fire got too big. Flame used flamethrower, torching the wood, and setting it ablaze. Bubble and Sloth were brought over by their Aunt who grabbed two blankets and rolled them up like two burritos. Bubble giggled and Sloth was about to fall asleep. Their aunt sat next to them and Flame went to the kitchen to make something. "Aunty?" Bubble scooted closer to her and got her paws free and hugged her arm. Their aunt giggled. "I'm here, dear." She said with a reassuring voice and wrapped her paws around Bubble in a hug.
Bubble started sniffling and hugged her aunt's arm tighter. "It's okay, It's okay." Aunty reassured her and hugged Bubble tighter. "b-but what if-"
"When your mom or Dad come here, you'll see they're fine...you'll see." She spoke. "mmhmhmm" Bubble quietly whimpered. "Aunty? Can I ask when you married uncle?" "hm... I married your uncle... just before you and Sloth were born. So around three years ago. It was a very happy time to marry him and be an aunt two weeks later."
Bubble was quiet and wiped her nose. "Do you two want a baby eevee?"
their aunt froze in place and blushed heavily. "y-y-yes but I don't t-think we're ready for that!" She said quickly, flustered "sorry" Bubble apologized. "its fine"
Flame came in with two bowls of kibble. "Took me a second but I hope you two enjoy it," Flame said, putting the two bowls in front of Sloth and Bubble. Sloth although was sleeping. Bubble smiled, let go of their aunt and poked him and he fell on the side. But still did not wake up. Flame chuckled.
"Sleepy one isn't he" Flame smiled, and their aunt laughed. Bubble crawled out her burrito and walked to Sloth. She poked his nose. "wakey!" She said shaking him. "Nu..." he sleepily replied. Bubble whispered something into his ear, and he jumped up and out of his blanket "Okay you WIN!!" He covered his face which was turning red. "What did you tell him?" their aunt asked.
"hehehe, I told him if he didn't eat, I would tell you his crush" "Ahhhhhhh!!" Sloth squeaked "oh" Their aunt smirked, "who is she?" "it's- "Bubble was tackled by Sloth and he covered her mouth with his paw. "mhph!" Bubble tried to get out "uh... yeah I think I would like to say it when I'm ready" Sloth said, and their Aunt grabbed him by his nape. "h-hey!" Sloth complained. Flame was on the couch chuckling and got a glare from their aunt.
He shut up immediately.
She set Sloth down "anyway, eat up you two, and then off to bed in the spare rooms." Sloth started eating and Bubble looked at their aunt "bedroomS" Emphasizing the 's' "yes, Bubble can get the one down here and Sloth can have the one upstairs." "YAY!" Bubble cheered happily "a room without a stinky little brother!" she smirked. "HEY! I'm only 20 minutes younger than you!" Sloth protested. Bubble giggled and started eating. Sloth followed grumbling a little "Wow!" Sloth shouted with his mouth full. "thersh is weally good!" He said struggling to keep his food in his mouth. Flame laughed "thanks" Sloth swallowed and continued eating the rest of his food and soon finished while Bubble lightly picked at her food. "Don't like it?" Flame asked "No, it's just I'm not really hungry..." "That's okay, I'll put it in a container to save for later." Flame said grabbing both their bowls in his mouth and taking them to the kitchen.
"Thank you Flame!" Sloth said, rubbing his eyes. "It's time for bed." Their aunt said and grabbed Sloth by the nape of his neck in her mouth and carried him upstairs. In the time that Sloth was with his aunt, Bubble asked Flame some questions.
"So, are you my Aunt and Uncle friend?" "yes, I guess you could say that"
"Butler? Roommate?" "more of a roommate" Flame answered. "Alright it's time for bed for you as well, Bubble." Their aunt said coming down the stairs and turned off the light.
"aww" Bubble play whined. Her ears and tail drooped. "20 more minutes?"
"no Bubble you've had quite the action tonight, it's time for bed."
She came over and licked Bubbles top fur into a flat mat. Bubble giggled and then she was picked up and brought into the spare room. The bed was moderate size, a light to the left of the doorway and a bookshelf. "COOL!" Bubble said and leapt out of her Aunts grasp and onto the bed. "hehehe" her Aunt giggled.
Bubble smiled, got under the covers, and snuggled a little stuffed Jigglypuff doll. "Where did that come from?" Her Aunt asked. "I don't know, it was just here." Bubble said and nibbled the ear. "well, I guess it's yours then. Anyway, Goodnight dear" She walked over and kissed Bubbles head. "Night" She smiled and hugged her aunt. She smiled and hugged Bubble back.
"Night" Bubble let go and snuggled the doll.
she smiled and closed the door after turning off the lights.
