One week in and I don't know what sleep is cause this little boy right here just wants to be held throughout the night, like sir let me rest. If there's one thing I miss about the hospital is the night shift nurses who helped with L.A's diaper changes throughout the night letting Reign and I sleep in a lot more. Reign has been staying with me cause I would go insane alone with this spoilt ass baby, I blame him cause he's always just holding him and laying with him talking bout some "Skin to skin is good for him."
They're bond is the cutest thing, it's like Legend knows his father's touch and presence cause when ever he's around it's fuck me but be clinging onto me when he hungry, like am I just a milk lady? We haven't really let people come to the house because we're still tryna bond with our son and it's almost Christmas anyway so everyone can see him then when he's a little older. Finishing off my morning routine, I look at my hair and decide that I definitely need a new style so I might ask Zo to come through later on today if he's free.
My body isn't back to normal yet but I'm okay with that cause carrying and bringing forth life isn't a joke so I don't feel the need to hurt myself to follow society's crazy expectations.
Walking into my baby's nursery, I peek into the crib and smack my lips when I realise baby boy is probably being coddled by his dad. "Reign" I sigh, shaking my head as I find Loyal laying on his chest as he watches an NBA game, making him look at me with a guilty smile, "Hey baby" he says. Rolling my eyes as I lean down to kiss my baby's forehead before pecking his lips, "Nah don't try that now, you keep spoiling him, now he always wants to be held" I respond before going to the kitchen to go get some breakfast.
"Buenos días mi querido" Maria says as she hands me a plate that had me slobbering at the mouth, "Ooo good morning Maria, this looks so good thank you" I say as I grab an orange mango Snapple bottle. Walking back out into the living room, I sit next to Reign who peeks into my plate before grabbing some bacon, "Reign I will kill you" I say as I move away from him to protect my food. Eating the rest of my food I feel Reign's eyes all up in my space making me turn to him, "Can I help you?" I ask as he chuckles, noticing my hostility; "Bae I don't want your food; you just look beautiful" he says making me blush as I thank him.
(Translation: Good morning my darling)
Whimpers fill my ears as Reign walks in with a whining Legend, "Oh so now you think of me?" I ask Legend who just shrieks at me making Reign and I laugh as he hands me my boppy pillow making me get comfortable before attaching Legend to my nipple. He wastes no time as he suckles like he hasn't eaten all day, "Damn boy, slow down acting like you didn't just eat 2 hours ago" Reign says as he rubs our son's head. "Can you please get me some water baby?" I ask, causing him to groan throwing his hands up as he leaves the room to get me the bottle of water as I scroll through Twitter.
Having Legend has changed both me and Reign for the better, we've definitely been humbled by parenthood cause the amount of patience it takes to handle a screeching new-born with plus or minus 5 hours of sleep is crazy. I never thought I could be more attracted to Reign but watching him be a father has me feening even though I can't do nothing bout it for 5 more weeks.
There's something about watching your muscular man rock a tiny baby shirtless that just has you willing to bust it open as soon as nightfall hits. He wakes up most of the time at night and makes sure I'm comfortable as I nurse Legend, he never complains when he has to pick up the slack because I'm exhausted, he just does everything a father is supposed to do. He's so sexy to me now that if he talks to me nicely, I might just let him nut in me just so I can see him do this all over again.
Looking down at Legend, I take in his features noticing how much he looks more like me than he does Reign and it makes me happy because ain't no way I'm breaking my vagina just for my baby to look nothing like me. His little fists are balled up next to his face as his eyes flutter letting me know that he's about to fall asleep just as Reign walks back into the room looking down at his phone as I gaze up at him noticing how good he looks today.
"You look so fine" I whine as he smirks looking at me before bending down to leave a kiss on my lips before nibbling on my bottom lip as he pulls away whilst my eyes are still closed as I try to control my hormones. He laughs at my facial expression "Yo, you good baby? We are still on probation so don't get too excited" he says, making me roll my eyes at him before I detach Legend handing him to his father to burp him.
"Can't be walking around here looking good then kissing me like that when you know we can't even do nothing" I tell him as I stretch just as Legend has a diaper explosion making us frown. Weighing out my options after noticing the disgusted look on Reign's face, I bolt for the door "Change your son playa" I shout out as I head down the hallway laughing as he groans and moans, "Nah, you foul for that" he shouts back.
"Oooo best friend this looks so good" I say as I look in the mirror at the bone straight install Zo just finished making me swing my head, "Stiff where ma'am?" I say making us fall into a fit of laughter. "How're you feeling?" Zo asks as he packs up his supplies whilst I clean up, "I feel good, my body is still adjusting to postpartum, my boobs feel painful sometimes cause of all this damn milk" I complain cupping my boobs.
I'm all for breastfeeding but this shit isn't a walk in the park and I might stop after three months but I'll still pump for my son-shine. "Girl baby boy really blessed ya; had to be looking out for his daddy cause them titties, thighs, hips and ass is sitting too nice" he says as I bend over to twerk right as my phone starts ringing
📞Phone Conversation:
A: Hey Riah
U: What's good big head?
A: You stay disrespecting me, what you want?
U: Girl better calm down, I'm coming to see my nephew
A: He ain't seeing nobody right now
U: Don't nobody care about that, Jay's tryna come through but I had to make sure you're cool with that
A: Yeah, you can come through with him, I'm over the whole situation now
U: Aight, so I'll be there in like 10 minutes
A: Boy was you-
Hearing three beeps, I look at my phone shocked that he just hung up on me before rolling my eyes at his dumbass. "How's everything at the House of Jade?" I ask him as we walk downstairs so he can say his goodbyes to Legend, "Girl we miss you, the vibe aint even the same without you" he complains, making me chuckle. "I miss y'all too, Imma start coming up there when Legend is a bit older cause his immune system ain't ready for all that" I tell him noticing that he's not even paying attention to me but peeking at Legend who's chilling in his mamaRoo.
"Hey Leggy Weggy" he whispers as he slowly picks him up cradling him closer to his chest as he squirms before getting comfortable, "He's so cute like I just wanna steal him" he coos making me laugh lowly. The doorbell rings making me walk over to it before the doorbell sounds repeatedly, swinging the door open "Nigga my son is sleeping damn" I shout bucking at them. They both chuckle before shoving me out the way "Hey neph, Unc Unc is here" Uriah shouts after mushing my head whilst Jaden scratches the back of his neck nervously clearing his throat.
(Just imagine he is standing outside)
"I'm sorry Mara, what I said was wrong and I never meant to disrespect you. I know you're just tryna protect me and I appreciate that, I love you and I hate not talking to you" he says in one breath making me smile at him before pulling him into a hug.
"If you ever disrespect my girl again, you better square up thug" Reign says looking straight at Jaden who was holding Legend making me chuckle, "Don't worry baby, we already talked so it's okay" I reassure him. Uriah walks back into the room holding a packet of gushers, a bottle of Pink Lemonade Snapple and a drumstick from the dinner prepared by Maria, "This shit bussin" he says, making me frown.
"Imma start making you contribute to the groceries cause you stay eating in this house" I complain as he waves me off sitting next to Jaden, "This baby is good looking gotta be my genes" he says making me chuck a cushion at his head.
