"We'll start with number 44 Hisoka" The loud speaker added making Gon frown a bit this made Y/n look concern

"So out of the other 9 applicants, which one are you keeping a close eye on?" Netero asked Hisoka who smirked at the question
"Number 406" Hisoka grinned making Netero interested
"405 also caught my eye but not like 406, I would love to challenge him one day" Hisoka added as he chuckled, Netero wasn't bothered by it and wrote down the information he wanted
As the three boys were talking the loud speaker rang again and the number they called this time was Y/n's
"That's me, wish me luck guys!" Y/n exclaimed waving to the two as he went up to the second floor then onto the room where Netero is
"Hello Y/n, I'm very surprised your family let you take the hunter exam" Netero stated as Y/n sat down in front of Netero
"My Mom was against it but I'm surprised that Dad let me take one, he probably thinks that I'm gonna fail but there's no way I'm letting that happen" Y/n said in determination as Netero chuckled at him
"That man is very stern and always sticks to his beliefs" Netero added making Y/n chuckle, It was a rare thing for Y/n's father to let him do things he wants and it usually was his father ordering him to do this and that, Y/n will never let his father down even though they rarely see each other
"For my first question, why do you want to be a hunter?" Netero asked as Y/n straightened his posture first before answering
"I want to be a hunter so that I can be able to travel the world and discover things no one has discovered before, It may be childish but I am determined in helping to see more of what the world has to offer" Y/n continued as Netero wrote down everything Y/n had to say
"Next question, Out of all of the 9 applicants which one are you keeping a close eye on?" Netero asked as he waited for a reply from Y/n
"Number 44 and 301, those guys have immense aura that I could probably never beat but I couldn't help but be curious about them" Y/n said in a serious tone making Netero surprised
"Do you happen to already know Nen Y/n?" Netero asked the boy who answered his question with no hesitation
"Yeah, I learned the use of it while I was doing a exorcism mission for my family, though I wouldn't say that I mastered it yet" Y/n responded confidently as Netero also wrote it down
"Then that means you already passed the other portion of the exam, you just need to pass this final phase in order to be a real hunter" Netero stated making Y/n surprise by his words
"Wait really? That's super cool!" Y/n exclaimed to Netero then calming down because of his abrupt behavior
"Well then for the last question, which of the 10 applicants do you least want to fight?" Netero asked Y/n who was thinking of an answer
"Hmm...I guess 301 though I am looking out for 44, I'd have to say 301" Y/n stated his answer while Netero wrote down the information on his notebook
"Good, that's all then, thank you for answering my questions Y/n" Netero gave a small smile to Y/n as he left the room

As the 10 applicants have finally reached the site of the final phase they were greeted Netero and the other examiners of the Hunter exam
"Well gentlemen, finally rested up? good" Netero started as the applicants stood still awaiting for the final phase
"The final phase of the exam will be a one on one tournament" Netero announced as he pulled out the brackets for the battle
Netero explained that only one win will be required to pass the final phase, which means the one who remains last will be the one who does not pass...and uhh...

"You can complain as much as you want but you decide whether you are worthy to have that hunter's license" Netero continued as everyone inspected the card
Then the bean looking person came out and explained the use of the hunter's license and how it is very important and should be protected at all cost, while they were explaining Y/n's head was currently thinking about how he doesn't deserve the license and that he should be the one disqualified
All the applicants then finally left the room to which Gon called out Gittarakur or Illumi, Gon was about to approach him when Y/n grabbed Gon's shoulder
"Don't bother asking him, I know where Killua is" Y/n said in monotone voice, he was very pissed at himself and Illumi making the three boys kind of surprised
"Oh you must be Y/n, I guess you also joined the hunter exam cause you were bored?" Illumi sarcastically said making Y/n even more pissed
"Don't start this right now Illumi, piss off" Y/n grumbled walking the opposite way, the three were confused but continued to follow behind Y/n
"You know him Y/n?" Kurapika asked breaking the silence and waited for a reply
"Our families respect each other and have seen each other a few times for business purposes" Y/n responded still with a monotone voice, this made the three worried for him
"I promise I'll help you get Killua back" Y/n said in a stern voice as he grabbed his cellphone from his bag to call someone
He dialed a number before putting the phone up to his ear
"Hello Nine? yeah it's me, I was wondering if you could pick me up? Oh and I have some friends with me to bring along" Y/n talked over the phone while the three patiently waited for him to finish
"Alright, thanks Nine call you later" Y/n ended the call before approaching the three
"You see Killua's family lives on the Kukuroo Mountain, it's easy going there but it will be very hard to enter there" Y/n started as the three listened carefully
"I may be able to use my family name to let us enter but I guarantee it won't work" Y/n explained to the three as they looked confused
"The name Fowler should not be used casually, it is not something that you should brag about at least that's what my mother says" Y/n continued making the three interested in his story
"Well no one is looking or hearing anyway, what's the cause?" Leorio complained as Y/n sighed
"My family are sorcerers so they probably put a curse on my neck that lets them know that I have used the name casually" Y/n pointed on his neck to show a mark that only Fowlers can have
"But what about when they have business to take care of with others? They will need to use their name right?" Kurpika asked while the two nodded
"Only father will be able to do that or if you get his permission to use the name then you can use the name for business actions only, anything else than that you will get punished" Y/n stated making the three shocked at how Y/n's family is very strict
"Wow that's really harsh" Leorio commented as Gon nodded
"Well my father is the most respected sorcerer, it's only normal for him to keep up his reputation" Y/n explained to the three, he felt his phone vibrate indicating that there ride is almost at their location
"We should get going, our ride is almost here" Y/n informed the three who then followed behind Y/n
