The summer of 1994 was the best summer of Cordelia's life. She got to spend all of her time with her dads and Hermione even stayed at the cottage with them for a few weeks that summer. It got even better when she got a letter from Ron inviting her to the Quidditch World Cup with his family, Harry, and Hermione, and stay the rest of the summer.
Cordelia ran down the stairs and into the kitchen, tripping over Padfoot in her excitement and would have most certainly face planted into the kitchen island if not for Remus grabbing her from where he was seated on the stool next to her. Remus turned to look at Padfoot who had now turned back into a very guilty-looking Sirius.
"What have I told you about turning into Padfoot in front of doors?" He asked Sirius.
"Not to do it." Said Sirius guiltily.
"And why not?" Remus asked him pointedly.
"Because we have a clumsy 14-year-old daughter constantly running around our house." Said, Sirius.
"Exactly," said Remus, he then turned to look at Cori. "Now Cub, what did you need so urgently
"Canigototheworldcupwithronandhisfmailyandharryandhermioneandstayattheweasleystherestofthesummerpleasepleaseplease?" Remus and Sirius looked at her in confusion and Sirius started to laugh historically.
"You got to slow down there pup, we can't understand you when you two that fast," Sirius smirked.
"Sorry," said Cori. "I was wondering if I could go to the Quidditch World Cup with Harry, Hermione, Ron, and his family and stay at the Burrow for the rest of the summer, Ron sent a letter inviting me, please can I go, please."
"As long as the Weasleys are ok with it and your dad and I are still going to come and see you off at the train station." Said Remus smiling. The smile on Cori's face grew.
"Thank you, thank you!" Said Cordelia happily. "I'll go write to Ron now, I love you guys, your the best!"
