i wanna scream —

"stay"
"don't leave"

instead, you'll hear me saying —

"go for it"
"i'm excited for you"

and I mean it

although we may feel
every urge to hold on
we have to practice
this thing called surrender

we walk this earth
as mere borrowers —
of people, of time
we don't own anything
hence, we gotta
learn to share
or maybe
give back everything
completely
