Rick and His Group we're traveling once again but we're forced to come to a pause by a chain wall of walkers. Abraham was told to stay behind in the R.V. with Jane as everyone else got out to clear the walkers. They approached it cautiously with weapons out.
"Putting together a red rover like that takes people, a lot of them" Shane pointed out.
"Come on let's do this" Carl encouraged.
"Carl" Rick called out stopping his son from leaving.
"Look it's Michonne's" Sasha said looking at the walker that had Michonne's locks along with her outfit.
"And that's Daryl's" Shane pointed at the walker with his arrows and shirt on. And right before they were gonna kill them they were shot at, leading them to shoot back and run back to the RV.
Rick and Shane killed all the walkers and gave them a path to drive through. Eventually they had once more come to a stop due to another wall of humanity standing in there way. "Go back" Rick instructed.
"Where?" Abraham questioned but nobody spoke up. Everyone didn't have an idea, they we're getting surrounded and stopped every direction they took. They had to get some distance from these guys and make a plan to go out on foot while Sasha stood back and watched the R.V.
Jessica Dixon First Person P.O.V
Scared, worried and angry is what i felt as we had been kidnapped and placed in the back of a car. All we could see is the light from outside shining in from time to time. I was scared what was going to happen to us to my family or friends worrying about us, specifically worried that they are in danger as well trying to get us, and angry that we are in this predicament in the first place.
That's when we heard the mass amount of whistles and noises coming from outside the vehicle. Then the doors we're open and the next thing i knew they took us out of the van one by one. Forcing us on our knees all next to each other.
When i came to notice Shane, Carl and everyone else here too i knew that we had fucked up, bad. "Jane?" Daryl called out seeing her there as well.
"On your knees!" Everyone looked completely taken off guard.
"All right! we got a full boat..let's meet the man" the individual said before knocking on the R.V. door.
That's when the door swang open and somebody stepped out with a bat. "Pissing our pants yet?..boy, do i have a feeling we're getting close" from the looks of it i had pretty safe guess on who this guy was. "Yep, it's gonna be pee-pee pants city here real soon...which one of you pricks is the leader?"
"It's this one, he's the guy" The same guy who captured us pointed to Rick.
The male with the baseball bat walked up to Rick and smiled. "Hi, You're Rick right? I'm Negan and i do not appreciate you killing my men. Also, when i sent my people to kill your people for killing my people..you killed more of my people. Not cool, you have no idea how not cool that shit is..but i think you're gonna be up to speed shortly. Yeah.. you are so gonna regret crossing me in a few minutes..yes you are"
I glanced over at the guy who caught us again and help but glare at his stupid smug on his face.
"You see Rick, whatever you do..No matter what, you don't mess with the New World Order..and the new world order is this, and it's really very simple. So, even if you're stupid which you very may well be, you can understand it. You ready? Here goes. Pay Attention" Began said before putting the bat next to Rick's Face. "Give me your shit, or i will kill you..today was career day. We invested a lot so you would know who i am and what i can do. You work for me now. You have shit, you give it me..that's your job"
Shane didn't seem like he wanted to be bossed around like this but he had to do it, to make sure me and the rest of us were safe. "Now i know that's a mighty big nasty pill to swallow, but swallow it you most certainly will. You ruled the roost, you built something..you thought you were safe. I get it..BUT the word is out, you are not safe not even close. In fact you are pegged, more pegged if you don't do what i want and what i want is half your shit and if that's too much, you can, make find, or steal more, and it'll even out sooner or later. This is your way of life now..the more you fight back, the harder it will be. So, if someone knocks on your door...you let us in, we own that door and if you try to stop us we will knock it down" Negan explained the rules of this little game he had going.
"You understand?" He asked before coming closer to Rick after he didn't give a answer. "What, no answer?"
As he began to walk around a bit Glenn had been glaring at this guy for the entire conversation so far. He needs to keep his cool, if Shane can do it he most certainly should be able to as well.
"You don't really think that you were gonna get through this without being punished, now did you? I don't want to kill you people just want to make that clear from the get-go. I want you to work for me, but you can't do that if you're dead now, can you? I'm not growing a garden. But you killed my people, a whole damn lot of them more than i'm comfortable with..and for that, for that you're gonna pay. So, now.." Negan paused to get a good luck at the lot of us. "I'm gonna beat the holy hell outta one of you"
Glenn glanced over at me as Carl barely managed to keep a calm composure. Daryl was concerned for his girlfriend being here..pregnant and all. Negan once again brought the bat up to Rick's face. This... this is Lucille and she is awesome. All this, all this is just so we can pick out which one of you gets the honor" He stated walking by each one of us.
After that i zoned out for a bit, i couldn't keep it together..I was panicking and i didn't want to look up anymore. Just staring at the ground before i heard Daryl get up trying to stop Negan from attacking Jane. "Daryl-"
"Stop it!" Jane shouted as the men beat up on Daryl until he was on the ground.
"Nope- nope get him back in line" Negan ordered and they did as he asked.
"No.." i whispered fearing my brother's safety.
Daryl was sobbing and groaning and he got on his knees again "Don't..don't hurt her"
"All right, listen..don't any of you do that again. I will shut that shit down, no exceptions..first one's free.. it's a emotional moment, i get it" Negan attempted to show empathy. Then he looked over at Carl. "This is your kid right?"
"Just stop this!" Shane snapped.
"Hey! Do not make me kill the little future serial killer. Don't make it easy on me..i gotta pick somebody everybody's at the table waiting for me to order" Negan said before whistling and once again glancing at each and everyone one of us.
"I simply cannot decide so, i got an idea" Negan smiled before walking up to Rick and pointing Lucille at him. "Eenie..Meenie..Miney..Mo..Catch the tiger..by his toe.. If he hollers.. Let him go..My mother..told me..to pick.. the very best one..And you.. are......." There was a pause as he walked by everyone pointing Lucille at them, this was cruel, someone's life.. being decided by a game.
I looked at everyone one last time, since one of us would be gone forever after this. Then he walked up to Abraham and finally pointed the bat at him. "It" Negan announced his decision. He picked Abraham..he was going to get beaten to death, right in front of us. "Anybody moves, anybody says anything, cut the boy's other eye out and feed it to his father, and then we'll start. You can breathe. You can Blink. You can cry...hell, you're all gonna be doing that"
Sasha cried as Negan struck upon Abraham's head. But Abraham sat up, like the tough guy he's always been since i met him. "OH! look at that, taking like a champ!"
"Suck..My..Nuts" Abraham muttered before Negan hit him again on the head. This time fell down this time before Negan beat him to death. Sasha and Rosita cried as i shivered in fear.
"Did you hear that? He said..Suck my nuts" Negan laughed. And he wasn't finished, continuing to beat up on his dead body. It was over, he was dead and he still continued. "Oh my goodness" Rick had been left with the blood of Abraham left on his face due to Negan swinging that goddamn bat around.
"You guys, look at my dirty girl!" Negan said before walking up to Rosita who couldn't even take a peak at what Abraham looked like right now. "Sweetheart...lay your eyes on this. Oh damn we're you together? that sucks..but if you were, you should know there was a reason for all this. Red-- and hell, he was, is and and will ever be red. He just took one or six or seven for the team! so take...a damn look"
Rosita was unresponsive still which definitely struck a nerve in Negan. "Take a damn look!" That's when Glenn got up and landed a left jab on Negan square in the face.
"Glenn!" i practically screamed as the savior's grabbed him and kept him on the ground.
"NO! oh no That? oh my! that... is a no-no" Negan yelled at his men. "The whole thing not one bit of that shit flies here." The guy with Daryl's Crossbow came up and aimed at Glenn's head as Negan grabbed his hair.
"Do want me to do it? Right here?"
"No..you don't kill them.. not until you try a little" Negan teased as i could hear Glenn grunting and groaning.
"Anyway that's not how it works..Now, i already told you people--First one's free, then-- What'd i say? I said i would shut that shit down! No exceptions" Negan shouted getting near Daryl and Rosita. "Now i don't know what kind of lying assholes you've been dealing with..but i'm a man of my word first impressions are important. I need you to know me...So...Back to it" then he spinned around slammed his bat once again onto someone. This time hitting Daryl in the head with Lucille, not once but twice.
I sat there in shock as Jane screamed out. As a few seconds passed out I was crying now, seeing Daryl try to fight through the pain as he bled from his head and got back up on his two feet.
Once i saw Daryl's search for me i tried my best to not look away from the sight. "Daryl..i- i'm so sorry i'm so so sorry this happened to you" i whispered. Daryl looked over at us, me and Jane since we were sitting next to each other.
"Buddy, you still there? i just don't know..it seems like you're trying to speak, but just you took a hell of a hit..i just popped your skull so hard, you're eyeball just popped out and it is gross ass shit!" Jane was sobbing as Negan spoke.
"Jane- Jessi- Jessica. I'll- i'll find y-you" Daryl managed to get out.
"Oh hell..i can see this is hard on you guys...I am sorry, i truly am..but i did say it, no exceptions!" Negan exclaimed before hitting Daryl a third time. And eventually beating his head in and killing him, after Daryl's last words i thankfully closed my eyes and turned away not baring to see anymore.
Daryl i- i'm so sorry. Maybe if i had been a better sister you wouldn't be dead right now. Maybe if i looked over you like i was supposed to, you wouldn't have ended up like this. I miss you already. I'm so sorry..Please forgive me. I just hope you reunite with Merle and the rest of our family..tell them you tried your best and helped keep the next generation alive. Goodbye, Brother.
