Aoba johsai has won against date tech, which means it's time for karasuno to face aoba johsai.
The last time they've faced aoba johsai they've lost, but now they're going to win. Karasuno proved to themselves and others that they would win and make it to nationals.
Currently they were on court for their warm-ups, [Y/N] wishing the boys good luck and to not panic.
"If it isn't Tobio-chan, who I defeated last time?~" [Y/N] heard a familiar voice before turning to look at the source.
Her face paled after spotting kageyama and Oikawa fighting over the ball with Oikawa taunting the younger male.
"I assure you that won't happen again and we'll win!" Kageyama responded to the brunette while trying to pull the ball away from him.
"All that's is left is that bastard, ushiwaka." Oikawa muttered as a start before abruptly releasing the ball while saying; "I'm going to have you get out of the way again, Tobio-chan!"
Kageyama fell on the floor with an 'Oof' as Oikawa laughed in response, "Take that!" Before resuming to laugh.
[Y/N] sighed and shook her head at her childhood friend's actions. "Ne! Pumpkin-chan!~ cheer for me alright?~" Oikawa teased the karasuno members by calling out to the female.
"Hitoka-chan! Watch out!" [Y/N] pulled Yachi to the side as Kiyoko blocked the ball that was falling straight to the female before it reached her.
Tanaka grasps the ball before sending it back to yahaba, who tried to gain yachi's attention, with an intimidating glare. "Get away from our manager, okay?~" Tanaka states in a warning tone to seijoh's second year.
"[Y/N]-san, we need to go to the stands. The match is about to start." Yachi reminds the [H/C] haired female. "Right!" [Y/N] exclaimed with a nod.
She wished the males good luck before heading over to the stands with Yachi by her side. "Woah karasuno made it to the semi-finals?" They both heard a voice pipe in.
Familiar to [Y/N] but unfamiliar to Yachi, "Ah! Takinoue-san!" [Y/N] exclaimed with a smile while waving at the male.
Takinoue felt touched, 'SHE REMEMBERS MY NAME!'
(^I think that there is one scene in haikyuu where he came in with the other neighborhood association team and they forgot his name.. correct me if I'm wrong)
"Hey [Y/N]!" He greeted back while patting her head, "Yes! I'm so excited!" Saeko exclaimed after learning that if karasuno beat the next two teams they'll be going to nationals.
"But [Y/N]-san would be leaving to russia after they make it to nationals.." Yachi stated sadly.
"EHH!?"
"WHAT!?"
"Hold up! Am I missing something?!"
The three eldest glanced at the [H/C] haired females for answers. "So-Sorry! I shouldn't have mentioned it-"
"Don't worry about it hitoka-chan!" [Y/N] reassured the blonde haired female with a smile. She turned to the other three before explaining to them about her soon departure after the inter-high.
"Whhhaaattt!? No!" Saeko whined before hugging the female, "We're going to miss you! Let's enjoy the moments from now on!! Okay?!" Saeko told the second year.
[Y/N] chuckled before nodding, "Okay Saeko-neesan~.."
The match started with Oikawa's powerful serve that Daichi was able to receive.
The ball went over the net which onion head- I mean kindaichi was able to reach before hinata and spiked it down.
Kageyama luckily received it with his left arm making kindaichi smirk, 'if kageyama got the first touch he won't be able to toss the ball to shrimpy here for their crazy quick attack.'
[Y/N]'s eyes widened and sparkled in happiness slightly after seeing the orange jersey libero performing a jump set. Asahi landed a spike on the ball which fell in seijoh's area.
Asahi and nishinoya froze as they gazed at each other with a surprise expression on their face. They turned to the [H/C] haired female who clapped and smiled at them proudly.
"Nice toss noya-san! Nice kill Asahi-san!" She complimented the two males, making them more happy then they already.
[Y/N] started to recall short flashbacks from their time in practice after school or during lunch time with nishinoya and Asahi.
"Don't worry noya-san! You'll excel at the next toss!" [Y/N] reassured the short second year who whined loudly at his attempt of preforming a jump set.
"You keep saying that [Y/N]-chan and yet here I am! Failing!~" he dragged out the last word while falling on the gymnasium floor.
[Y/N] chuckled slightly before glancing at the long haired third year, Asahi smiled after spiking the ball correctly and perfectly.
"Nice serve Asahi-san!" She complimented the male with a smile, "thanks!" He responded happily. [Y/N]'s gaze returned to nishinoya who was sulking while curling up into a human ball on the floor.
A sigh escaped her lips before standing up and heading over to the male. She stood in front of him before crouching down to see his face.
His bottom lip was pushed out as he slightly puffed out his cheeks, creating a pouty expression.
[Y/N] chuckled before saying; "How about you ask Tobio-chan for assistance?" She asked making nishinoya gasp in response.
He sat up quickly and faced the female, "NO! That's embarrassing! Me! His senpai! Asking him! My kouhai! To teach me! I should ken the cool senpai that knows everything and is able to do anything! If I do that I will be humiliated!"
Nishinoya exclaimed while doing dramatic-hand motions. "Then the real nishinoya doesn't give up." Asahi said while walking towards the second years.
"Yeah.. so get up and stop sulking!" [Y/N] said to the short second year, nishinoya smiled before extending his arms towards the female.
His actions caused [Y/N] to let out a giggle, she held both of his hands and pulled him up to his feet.
"You'll see! I'll get it right! Then me and Asahi-san would preform the PERFECT jump set!" Nishinoya said with determination.
Seeing them execute the quick attack perfectly brought joy to [Y/N].
She was happy that karasuno has been able to show their skills and prove that they'll keep flying to the top.
