"We're going in! We're going in!!!" Techno says, splashing potions onto me and him
"Let's make this as quick as possible" I say
We both then rush out and began pushing back and slashing at whoever we could see, other than Tommy and Tubbo.
I didn't want to kill anyone, or hurt anyone in the moment, so I just used my agility to push them back. Techno was doing all the hard hitting... Honestly, we worked well together...
...in battle circumstances anyways....
But, when everyone gave up on fighting, me and Techno decided to stop too. Since for him, fighting people who wouldn't fight or plead wasn't worth the hassle.
Instead, we paid attention to Tubbo and Tommy's little argument below.
"You betrayed me Tubbo" Tommy spoke out
"I didn't betray you!! You teamed up the very person who destroyed our nation the first time!!" Tubbo shouted
"THE DISCS WERE WORTH MORE THAN YOU EVER WERE!!" Tommy shouted
Silence all around. Shock was there in the picture. Everyone stood still.
Damn- he really just said that inanimate objects are more important than actual living, breathing people.
"I'm... I'm sorry... Tubbo..." Tommy said, expression full of regret "...give him the disc"
"...huh? a-are you sure?" Tubbo asked, shocked
Tommy silently nodded.
"Give him the disc"
Tubbo then went into his enderchest, taking out the disc 'mellohi' and tossing it to Dream.
Dream then begins to laugh, and thanks Tubbo.
Tommy seemed to be just having a mental breakdown... apologizing over and over again to Tubbo, saying that he was a bad friend... everything like that... all while Dream just seemed to have the most cockiest smirk on his face.
"...What are you on about Tommy?" Techno questioned
"...I'm with Tubbo." Tommy says, walking over and standing beside Tubbo
"Hehh???" Techno says, confused
"Tommy-- perhaps I wasn't clear enough yesterday... When I said I was going to destroy L'manburg... And that you don't have to help me--- I meant that you could sit it out!! Not switch sides and fight against me!!!" Techno exclaimed
"W-what am I doing??!" Tommy asked, self panicking to himself over his actions
"You're betraying me...! That's what you're doing Tommy!" Techno shouted "Tommy. I want you to think about this. Because once you make a decision, there's no going back."
"Technoblade, I know what I've done and I hate me for it. I'm sorry..." Tommy murmured
"Wow..." Techno said completely monotone
"....Well, anyways.... Tubbo.... Thank you for giving me the disc. I just wanna say that you're an idiot." Dream says
"What?" Tubbo questioned
"You are an absolute idiot. And you have no power. You are the worst president. I mean-- Listen!! You aren't even president..!! Next in line for that was suppose to be Y/N! But you just took on that offer without even thinking of it!!" Dream says
Everyone turns to me.
"After all, she was Schlatt's sister. She was meant to get that role because he dead right ASSIGNED it to her!! He hold me himself before he died!!" Dream stated
I blankly stared at Dream as he continued to speak.
"Seriously!! Quackity is more president than you!! I AM MORE PRESIDENT OF L'MANBURG THAN YOU!! You get pushed around by everybody! Because you are an idiot!!" Dream shouted at Tubbo "You literally just gave me the one thing that I needed to destroy L'manburg!!"
Dream then turns to look at Techno.
"Techno, got any withers?" He asked
"Oh yeahhh. I like where this is going Dream" Techno smirked "I got a few withers.... If we can get out of here alive... I think we can meet some agreement"
"...You can leave that to me if you wish" I say
"Alright...." Dream says, he then turns to look at everyone else "3pm. Tomorrow. L'manburg is being destroyed. Say your goodbyes"
Everyone seemed to panic, pleading with Dream, me and Techno.
"We're going to be finishing Wilbur's job. We're completely destroying everything." Dream says, then finally turning to me "Y/N... Clear us a path... why don't you..?"
I looked to Techno for permission and he seemed a little worried, but he didn't seem to stop me all that much.
Closing my eyes, I relied.
"Certainly..."
I took out my sword once again, aiming my sword to everyone.
"If anyone makes the slightest movement, I won't be afraid to kill you here and now. I'll slice you quick and let you bleed to death. Pick if you want to live or not" I glared at everyone
We all then began to walk away, but, I heard a footstep draw closer and my head whipped around to see who moved.
And of course, it was Tommy.
"I'm warning you Tommy" I hiss
"...What happen to me being your younger brother? Did you say you saw me as one???!?!" Tommy exclaimed
"Yeah, I did" I said "But that was before you broke our little 'families' trust. You betrayed us Tommy. I won't forgive you unless Techno forgives you... And I don't think that's coming any time soon...."
Tommy bites down on his teeth, growling a little at me, wanting to move forward.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you... That sword of her's really fucks with your body..." Quackity spoke out
"What are you on about..?" Tommy questions
"...Even the littlest cut will make you completely immobilized.... It's fucking scary" Quackity says
After hearing those words, I then walk off with Dream and Techno, leaving everyone standing in the shambles of the community house.
We got to the nether portal and Dream turned to look at both me and Techno.
"Well... I guess I'll be seeing you both tomorrow at 3pm" Dream says
"...I guess so" Techno says
"...Have a good day you two. Tomorrow is going to be a especially fun day for everyone..." Dream says
Dream then walks up closer to me, leaning down to whisper in my ear.
"...also, we need to have a little chat later about the community house" Dream whispers
"...I don't know what you're talking about" I reply
Dream then distances himself from me.
"Oh... You know what you did. But thanks to you... I was able to get what I needed from the very beginning...." Dream smirked again "Really... Thank you"
"I didn't do it to help you... I did this for my own benefit too" I said
"...Still. You're such a sly little fox" Dream commented
And with that, Dream turned away from us and walked away, leaving us standing at the portal.
Without further words, me and Techno left through the portal.
"What was that about?" Techno asked
"...The thing with Dream right now?" I questioned "Well... You know how Dream kept blaming Tommy for the whole community house being blown up and destroyed..?"
"...don't tell me" Techno gave me a deadpanned look
"..yeahhhh" I murmur
"...Why though? I mean-- I find it pretty amazing that you did that... But..... why?" Techno asks
"....I knew things were going to come down to this... So, I decided to contribute" I respond "No reason trying to prevent what's already being prevented"
Techno casually shrugged and continued to question me.
"Why did you go?" Techno asked
"...Because I was worried and concerned. You should know I'm like this by now" I say
"Yeah, that is true...." Techno murmurs
We continued to walk in silence for a little longer.
...Tommy really did that to us.
He betrayed us.
...He really just did that.
I thought he was better than this... but I guess I was wrong.
"...Y/N. Tomorrow it's going to be us against... basically the entirety of L'manburg... and if you count the other residents of The Dream Team SMP...." Techno says "...I know we're going to do great. Destroy everything and everyone.... I got all the withers we need-- and a lot more I would summon..."
He then turns to me.
"But, I want to know the reason you're willing to help out. I mean-- you're... you"
"And what's so wrong about me being... me?" I question
"Nothings wrong... It's just... It concerns me is all... I mean-- You didn't have to necessarily do what you did. By that I meant you joining me and Dream in destroying L'manburg... and yet, you are without really any benefit." Techno says
"I want to help you achieve your goals...." I say "Is that really so much?"
He stared at me for a moment too long before looking ahead.
"no.... But it's pretty weird"
"...Sorry If I'm weird. It's just... I really... really want you to be happy and successful!" I smile
"cringeeee" He draws out, laughing a little at the end
I just continued to smile though, even if he thought it was 'cringe' I didn't mind it at all.
It's nice that I'm able to say things like that with him.
...I think that's why I like Techno so much.
He brings out a side of me that I didn't even realize I had.
..and I wouldn't have it any other way.
