Ace POV
"So what is the update Son about your friend?" My mom suddenly asked in the middle of our dinner. All of us are present here now, including dad. I saw how dad stops eating and stare at me.
"What about mom?" I asked him even though I already know what he means by what he said. Gosh! I started to feel nervous!! Why does my mom have to ask this in front of my siblings and dad?
"About the man who is making moves on you, I mean your friend, haha, sorry!" Mommy said, then drink his juice
"What? Someone is making a move on you, P' Ace?? Who is that?? Do we know him?? Is it Nine?? God! I knew it!! The way he looks at you whenever he was here." Bella keeps on speaking, but I stopped her. Gosh! Her mouth!!
"Gosh! Bel!! It's not about me!! It's about my friend and why are you talking about nine!! We are just friends. Thank you!!" I said to our maid, who refill my juice, then look at my Twins cause I feel that he was glaring at me
"it's not me!!" I told him. He just looked at me for a few seconds; then he went back into eating his food.
"Gosh!! I thought it's you, P'Ace, but if that happens!! I would be very much happy for you. You have been NBSB for a long time. You have to bloom!!" Bella smilingly said
"What are you saying, Bel!! I told you it's not me!!" I said to her!! Gosh!! This is why I'm hesitant to tell them about this. They will tag team in teasing me!!
"So what is the real score, son!! Does the man admit his feelings to your friend, or does your friend talk to the man to confirm his moves on him??" Dad asked me.
Does he know??
"You know, dad??" I shockingly asked him. I looked at my mom. He just smiled at me like he was saying sorry to me
"I'm sorry, son! You know, I can't hide anything from your dad." He said to me. I guess this is unavoidable, especially that my mom and dad are so in love with each other. I sigh deeply before answering my dad question
"It's okay, Mom, Actually they already confirmed it, and the man is already courting my friend." I told them
"WHAT, SOMEONE IS COURTING YOU ALREADY!!! WHO IS THAT!! DO I KNOW HIM??" My dad shockingly said. Gosh!! My dad is so OA
"Dad, it's not me, remember!! It's my friend!" I said to them. Dad seems to understand that he finally calms down. Mom also cares about his shoulder to calm him.
"So What's the answer of your friend. Does your friend likes that man too?" Mom asked me this time. I looked at my siblings. They are looking at me and listening carefully. They look so severe, like they were watching the climax of a movie.
"Ahhh yeah, but he is not sure about that yet, Mom!! He still measures things." I said to my mom.
"Okay! But please tell your friend not to rush things, ahh, Your friend have to make sure that he is 100% to whatever decision he will be making. That kind of thing is severe. He does not want to rush things." My mom seriously said to me. It's somewhat awkward to hear and see him be like this because he always acts as the most bubbly and happy mom.
"Ok, mom! I promise! I will tell him!!" I said to him, then I proceed on eating
"AND REMEMBER TO TELL US IF HE FINALLY MADE A DECISION, SON!! WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE ENDING OF THIS STORY OF YOURS!" My dad seriously said. I just nodded at him.
"Of course, dad, I will!" I said to him
"Good!!" My dad smilingly said, then he looks at my mom. They are like talking to each other using their eyes, and it seems that they can fully understand each other.
Gosh! I admire the love between my mom and dad. They have been together for so many years already, but they look like they are still in love with each other. The way they look at one another is like they want to beat each other on the spot.
I wish to have that kind of love. Are me and Damon like that??

Still Ace POV
Another two weeks after
I'm currently here in my classroom, waiting as usual for Damon. My classes are always done earlier done him, so I just remained here in my classroom. As usual, I'm alone because my classmate already goes somewhere else I don't know.
I volunteered to go to him instead, but he said that it's not right. I'm the one who is being courted, so he should be the one making the efforts!! I told him that It's not like I'm a girl that needs to be pampered; I'm still a man capable of taking care of myself, but he is so adamant in treating me like a girl, so I just let him.
His building is so far away from my building, and I know that the 3rd year Engineering students are on the high rise of the engineering building. He is sometimes running out of breath whenever he goes to me. I already told him that he shouldn't rush, but this is what he said
"Your time with me is so limited because of our classes. That's why I want to make sure that the time I will have with you will not be wasted just because I made you wait!! I don't care if I may feel exhausted from going here with you because seeing you like this is the happiest moment for me. Just let me, Ace, I'm happy in doing this!"
This is what he said to me. He is cheezy that sometimes that I will have to experience goosebumps all over my body. He is a sweet talker. I can tell that. For the past two weeks, he has been consistent in swaying my heart into accepting him, and this time, I feel like he is winning. I think I'm starting to like him, too, but I'm still testing him. I don't want to rush things, just like what my mom said.
I'm just enjoying all of the things then. If I knew that I'm sure about what I feel about him, I would tell him, but not this time. Not yet!!
I was just busy writing something in my notebook when someone suddenly taps me on my shoulder, so I immediately lift my head to see who is it. I know it's not Damon cause he never taps me; instead, he will caress my head or kiss it.
And I'm right because it's nine. He looks so happy!!!
"ACE!!! I GOT IT!!! I GOT IT!!!" he happily said to me. I quickly stood up and asked him about it.
"You got what??" I asked him. I was shocked when he suddenly held my hands. He looks so happy!!
"I GOT WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY PROGRAM!! YOU'RE RIGHT WITH WHAT YOU SAID!!! THAT I SHOULD LOOK FOR ANOTHER WAY INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON ONE!! YOU ARE RIGHT!! YOU ARE F*CKING RIGHT!!!" He excitedly said to me, he even pulled me, and he suddenly hugs me. I guess he is thrilled. It's about his prelim project program. He has been having a problem with one of the syntax of his code that he was working on for the last three days. It's not working as he imagines it to be. I'm not someone who will tell you the answer to your problem but give you advice on how to solve it. I don't do spoon-feeding. It's more affected.
"Oh!! I'm happy for you!! I told you, you can do it without my help!! See, you did it on your own!!" I proudly said to him as I hug him back.
"Thank you so much, Ace!! Thank you so much!! I can never do it without your advice." He said to me
"It's not me, Nine! It's all on you!! I just gave you advice, and you made it work. I'm proud of you!!" I said to him
"Thank you! Thank you so!" He didn't get to finish his words when someone suddenly pulled him. I was shocked because the next moment is that I see NINE already on the floor with a cut on his side lip because of the sudden punch this man gave him. I quickly lift my head to see who the hell it is.
"I WARNED YOU ALREADY, DIDN'T I!!! YOU WANT TO DIE HUH!!" I was shocked when I saw that it was Damon who punches NINE!!! I angrily approach him and slam him on his face. He looked appalled about what he did.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT, DAMON!!! YOU REALLY CAN'T CHANGE, HUH!!! YOU KNOW WHAT!! Let end this!! I don't think we will ever work!! I can't be in a relationship with someone like you!!!" I angrily said to him.
I didn't wait for his reply anymore!! I'm so angry that I quickly turned around to see NINE, who still shocked about what happened.
"I'm so sorry about all of this, Nine!! This is my fault. Please forgive me" I didn't wait for them to speak. I quickly turned away from them and started to run away.
I'm feeling so angry right freaking now!!
I HATE THIS ATTITUDE!!
HE WILL NEVER CHANGE!!
NEVER!!!
