2 days passed by. At Travia's current location.
"Why is it that there are still no news about that guy!?" Travia asked her group while while lying in a sofa.
"We also don't know. We looked at the news from the lighthouse, but we don't see any news about Khun Aguero Agnes."
Travia frowned and get up from where she is lying and slammed her palm in the table. "That damn Hatzling! I shouldn't have trusted him for taking that brat!"
"Leader..."
"We're leaving this floor. I need to talk to princess Maschenny. That brat and Hatzling need to be punished!" Travia said. Hmp! i need them to leave their position as a leader. Well~ it's a good thing that Hatzling did that, now i can remove two thorns on my way. Travia said to herself as she smirked.
Meanwhile at the main house of one of the great families Khun.
"Please we beg you sir Edahn...." Aruse said as he bowed down his head, begging in front of Edahn. "Please don't let Khun be killed."
Cob and the others followed Aruse and also beg for Khun to be spared.
Edahn frowned. "Why follow such a leader?"
"Sir...?" Cob and the others wondered. They was a little confuse of Edahn's question.
"That kind of leader is not deserve to be called one. A leader must have a courage to abandon and sacrifice everything to achieve his goals. That guy doesn't have that, instead he sacrificed his own goal and freedom to protect his enemy. Is that the kind of leader you want to follow?"
Aruse, Cob and the others remained silent for a while as they remembered they're talk to Khun earlier.
Earlier at Khun's cell underground the main house. Aruse, Cob, Lyra and the others visited Khun.
"Leader...." Lyra called.
"Lyra... everyone..." Khun said as he look at them while his hand is tied.
"Sir, what are we going to do now? Should we break the cell and run away from here?" Cob said.
"That's right Leader, just give us an order." Lyra said.
Khun's eyes widened, he was surprise to see the loyalty of his group to him even though they know that he already betrayed the king and may result for them to be killed.
He smiled. "Thank you everyone... but this is will be the end of my journey. I will not be able to achieve my goals anymore, but im glad i protected someone precious to me before my end."
"Leader..." Maka called as she started to sob.
Byro, Lyra and the others look at him with sadness in their faces.
"Everyone, you serve the king. Im just a leader... tell the king that you don't know about me being acquainted to the slayer... from this day on you are all dismissed."
Aruse, cob's and others eyes widened.
"Leader!" Cob and the others called as they started to cry. While Aruse stayed silent.
"Khun." He called.
Khun and the others look at him.
"It's true that we serve the king, but we served you first before the King. Therefore you are more important to us than the King. You are our leader. You choosed us instead of the members of Great Families when you are still creating your group. You choosed us commoners! I... was able to live until this moment because you saved me. Now, i will pay you with my life on stake."
The others look at Aruse and stopped crying instead they nodded as they agree to what Aruse has just said.
"You're right Aruse. He is our leader and no one can order us besides you Khun." Lyra said. Everyone nodded.
"Lyra..." Khun called with his voice trembling. He is scared for his groups fate if they also betrayed the King, but deep inside his heart he is also happy to see how much he is loved.
"Okey! Now that all of us confirmed our loyalty to leader let's go." Cob said.
"To where?" Byro asked.
"To sir Edahn." Cob answered.
Khun's eyes widened. "What!? You guys are going to Father?"
"Yeah, were going to beg him to let you out of here."
Khun was speechless. He don't know what to do. He was worried of what might happen to his group, but everyone can't be stopped. They are all determined. Byro and the rest then leave the cell.
Meanwhile Aruse stayed a little longer in front of Khun's cell. "Khun..." He mumbled.
"Aruse..."
"Khun, don't you dare say you'll leave us again." He said as he left.
Khun was left speechless. "Those guys..."
And so back in to present time.
Aruse slowly look up to where Edahn is sitting. "Sir, i wouldn't say he's perfect as a Leader, but he did a great job as a Leader by having a perseverance to achieve everything he wants even though it's hard. I know, that even though he's imprisoned now. He still not giving up his dreams. He already bid us a farewell, but his eyes says the other. He still hasn't give up on becoming this Family's head and i don't think he's also giving up on that slayer. Isn't a Leader suppose to be this greedy to achieve his ideals?"
Cob and the other are surprised to what Aruse has just said. They were surprise at how Aruse suddenly became talkative and to how they find his speech awesome.
Edahn was also quiet surprised though it doesn't show in his face. He was speechless to what Aruse has just said. As he has a point. He chuckled. "Indeed a Leader should be greedy." He said with a smile in his face. What a great member he has.
Aruse, Lyra and the others stared to Edahn as he continued to laugh.
"Very well. I'll give you guys a chance. I'll talk to that guy, but if he ever say no. I can't do anymore than that and it will be the time you guys should start to run for your lives cause i don't intend to protect any of you."
Cob and the others sighted of relief.
Outside the room was Hatzling. He was about to talk to his Father about Khun, when he found Khun's group inside. He smiled as he heard the conversation. As he is also relieved of what he heard, he then left.
Meanwhile, at Jahad's palace. Throne room.
"Is that true?" Jahad asked.
"Yes your majesty, It is what Travia reported to me." Said Maschenny.
"Are you sure about this Mashenny?"
Maschenny look at Jahad confused of what he meant. When Jahad spoke again. "I might kill your brothers."
Maschenny just stared at Jahad and said. "I no longer belong to that family."
Jahad tilted his head a little to his left and smirked. "Is that so..."
Maschenny bowed her head down silently and slowly. "Yes, my loyalty is yours, your majesty."
Jahad just stared at Mashenny and slowly stand away to his seat. "Prepare my ship. I need to pay my friend a little visit." He said as he walk passed Mashenny and out of the throne room.
As the maids closed the door. Maschenny exhaled. "I can finally breathe properly. That man is really scary..." She said as she stand from the floor. "I wonder what will happen now? This might cause war." She said as she smirked.
Back to Khun's main house.
"Khun, we talked to your father and he agreed to talk to King Jahad about your punishment." Lyra said.
Khun's eyes widened. He didn't expect his group to be able to persuade his father.
"That's great, right Leader?" Maka said.
"Yeah it is, but what if King Jahad say no? What will happen to you guys?"
"Hmp! you're worried about us instead of yourself whose currently inside this cell?" Lyra said. "Don't be! we can run, but only if you're with us."
Cob and the others smiled and nod as they agree to what Lyra has just said.
At that time. Jahad is currently on the way to Khun's main house.
"How many hours before we arrive?" Jahad asked.
"Don't worry your majesty. You'll just need to wait for another 5 minutes and we'll be there."
"I see..." Jahad mumbled as he look outside his window. Edahn... Im gonna see you again huh... He said to himself as he smirked. "I don't really want to do this, but if you don't give me a proper explaination. I might kill you together with your sons."
