Karasuno VS Wukutani
[Y/N] stood by the stance with yachi by her side, joining them Saeko and shimada(Takinoue wasn't able to attend due to him having work)
The ball was going back and fourth between both teams. Wukutani spikes the last hit that collided with tsukishima's hands.
The ball flew out of the blonde's hands sending it out making Daichi run towards the ball and save it from falling.
The ball flew back to the court and Daichi made his way back to get the last hit. Failing to realize he was heading right towards Tanaka.
"Yes!" Yachi exclaimed happily before clapping slightly and glanced at [Y/N]. Her smile fell after seeing [Y/N]'s shocked and worried face.
The cheers died down, Yachi turned her attention back to the court—a gasp escaped her lips.
Daichi was laying on the ground, unconscious. "Daichi-san.." [Y/N] mumbled under her breath.
"Daichi-san."
"Daichi-san!"
Karasuno were calling out to their captain, [Y/N]'s grip on the rails tightened as worrisome built up inside of her.
'Wake up.. please..'
She begged internally.
Daichi's dark orbs were revealed after he unveiled his eyelids steadily. Daichi was regaining consciousness.
[Y/N] gaze widened before the coach and advisor were rushing towards the captain. "Where are we?" Takeda questioned.
"At..At Sendai city gymnasium.."
"What team are we playing against?"
"Wu..Wukutani.."
A wave of relief washed over all karasuno, as well as the people in the gymnasium—glad the dark haired male was alright.
[Y/N] let out a sigh of relief while Yachi rubbed her back for comfort. Daichi was taken out of court and to the infirmary for any possible concussions.
'Who would be filling in for daichi?' [Y/N] wondered while gazing at the coach talking with the advisor. Her eyes widened and sparkled with happiness after spotting the familiar second year.
'Of course! Ennoshita!'
[Y/N] observed ennoshita while he walked inside the court, his face held a nervous and anxious expression.
[Y/N] clasped her hands together while gazing at the dark haired male. 'Don't be nervous Chikara-kun! It's just like the practice!'
A smile took over her lips after how his teammates accepted him immediately as the captain.
From Kageyama questioning him permission to preform quick attacks. To nishinoya warning him him about takeru's spikes.

"I hope ennoshita-kun will be able to lead the team." Shimada said with a smile.
"You have nothing to worry about!" Saeko piped in, "Don't doubt him, ennoshita is the head honcho is the second years!" Saeko reassured making [Y/N] giggle in response.
"I agree with Saeko-neesan, chikara-kun is a dependable person and he'll be able to lead the team." [Y/N] agreed and added with a smile on her face.
The game resumed and ennoshita did the honors of doing the first serve. Wukutani easily received, sending the ball back with a spike; gaining a point.
Takeru, from wukutani, was up to serve. Ennoshita stood in stance, ready to receive. The ball was served which ennoshita failed to receive.
"Don't worry about it Chikara! Keep your guard up!" Nishinoya advised with reassurance in his tone.
"Ri-Right, sorry for making it more difficult for you guys." Ennoshita apologized with guilt.
He may not be able to reach daichi's skill, but he has his own skill.
Wukutani served, takeru to be precise, and it was going directly at ennoshita.
Suddenly, she recalled a scene that happened previously with her and the second years.
"After the third years' retirement, we need to figure out who would be the next captain of karasuno.." Coach ukai said while gazing at the second years.
[Y/N] tilted her head slightly before eyes landed on the dark haired male. A small smile took over her lips, "I'm sure we'll be able to find one soon!" She reassured with a smile.
The second years glanced at their female manager as her statement repeated in their head.
'Who?'
[Y/N] munched on her favorite snack while walking along with the other second years. "Can I have a piece?" Kinoshita asked.
[Y/N] smiled before extending the bag of snack towards him, "of course!" She answered with a smile.
Kinoshita happily took a piece before munching on it.
"A captain huh?" Narita said while eating his own snack they bought from the store.
"Ne [Y/N]-san," Tanaka started, "who do you think is perfect person to be karasuno's captain?" [Y/N] furrowed her eyebrows in disbelief at tanaka's question.
"Huh? I thought it was obvious!" She replied to the male before placing another piece in her mouth and gave kinoshita one as well.
"Not really.." ennoshita mumbled in response.
Nishinoya gazed at the female before rubbing his chin, "Ah!!! I got it!" Nishinoya exclaimed abruptly, startling the other second years.
Before any one could say anything, nishinoya turned to the taller male and pointed at ennoshita.
"You! You should be our captain!"
Ennoshita's eyes widened before stuttering out, "Wh-What are you saying?!"
[Y/N] chuckled slightly before handing kinoshita the full pack of her snack. Kinoshita's eyes sparkled before thanking her in a low tone and happily munched on the snack.
"Correct!~"
"Ha-Hah!? You're siding with him too!?" Ennoshita shrieked.
"Well.. Tanaka could be suitable for being a captain.." kinoshita started before pausing, "never mind, Kageyama and hinata would be a handful." Kinoshita changed his minds
"We also have to deal with tsukishima's attitude.." Narita added.
"I agree with noya-san and [Y/N]-san, you'd be a good captain." Tanaka agreed making nishinoya and [Y/N] smile in response.
"Narita, kinoshita. You should consider yourselves as candidates too." Tanaka said while glancing at the two second years.
"Nope."
"No thanks."
They both rejected the offer making [Y/N] chuckle, "i.. I could never be a leader.." ennoshita stated, "I always run away from my problems than stand by them, how am I supposed to be a leader?"
[Y/N] furrowed her eyebrows before saying, "don't say that.. at that time you were young. You were conflicted on whether or not to join the volleyball club. In the end, you joined the volleyball club because that's what you truly wanted. You followed your heart. Chikara-kun, you have a beautiful heart—an intelligent head— you have good control over your emotions. Not only that, You are dependable, trustworthy, caring, you step up when we need you, you work hard and persevere, you have a positive relationship with both coaches and teammates. There are evidences prove that you are capable of being a captain."
[Y/N] spoke with a smile,
"So, don't let something in the past..
"...stop you from achieving your dreams.."
Ennoshita's eyes gazed at the ball before crouching to receive. The ball slammed against his arms before flying up in the air.
"Suga!" Asahi called for a toss. The ball was tossed to Asahi and he successfully spiked through the blocks—earning a point.
"Nice receive Chikara!" Nishinoya smiled while praising the future-captain. "I promise.. I won't be running away and will fight to the end!" Ennoshita declared with determination.
