''Yes?'' Your innocent eight-year-old self asked
''If you ever want to succeed you can not be human. You have to be cold and inhumane. Business is no place for feelings'' He said as he stared into the fireplace
''But I want to feel things, daddy'' You said as you kept playing with your blond doll
''I know you do. I know. You're a good girl, Y/N. But if you want to have a future in the industries you have to be cold and selfish. You have to be like me'' He said as his black like eyes stared into your (E/C) colored ones
''Y/N, can you promise me one thing?'' He asked

''Promise me you're going to be like me. You're not going to let your personal feelings get in the way of your carrier. Got it?'' He said as he roughly grabbed your chin
''Yes'' You said as you started to tear up

Your father was a broken man. A businessman who got everything taken from him. His best friend took everything from him and your father simply broke. He started drinking and always taught you lessons no kid should know. He was a broken but a smart man. You and your father barely talked. He moved, leaving you and your mother alone. Your mom worked four jobs to keep you going. Now you were the one who had to be strong.
''The meeting is tomorrow at 12:00'' Your mom said
''Yeah'' You said as you looked out of the window
''What? Aren't you happy ?'' She asked

''Just what?'' Your mom asked looking into your eyes

''Y/N, I'm sorry but you have to be more selfish. You always think about others and it always ends in the same way. You always let people use you'' She said putting her hand on your cheek

When you arrived home, you went to your room and opened your computer. You read some stupid influencer drama and closed your computer

''Because she's talented! Have you seen the competition we have? She was on a meeting with a label today!'' I said as I took a sip from my wine glass
''I know she's talented, Levi. But every one of those artists is talented. And how did you know she was on a meeting today?'' Hange asked
''Hange, I'm the owner of one of the most famous companies here. I have to have my nose in everyone's business'' I said
''Whatever you say, Levi. Well nice to drink with you! We should do this more. I have to go now. Get some sleep, Levi. We have two meetings tomorrow'' She said as she gave me a hug and left.
I closed the door and sat down onto my couch

''Hello I have a meeting with Hange Zoe at noon'' Your mother said to the young woman behind the big marble desk.
You were in the high, 24-floor-high building waiting for something that might change your carrier forever. You were dressed in a black dress which your mom made you wear.
''Right this way'' The young woman leads the way to a fancy elevator
You stepped into the elevator and she pressed the 24th floor. As the elevator started going up your mom squeezed your hand. She was stressed because both of you knew how important this was. As you stepped out of the elevator you followed the lady. She walked really, really fast and it was hard to follow her with your heels. She suddenly stopped in front of big black doors. She knocked on them and there was a welcoming 'come in'.
''Miss, Y/N L/N and M/N L/N are here to have a meeting with you'' She said
''Ahh, yes, please, bring them in'' She said
You and your mom walked in. You saw a tall, beautiful woman
''Ahh, a pleasure to meet you!'' She said giving you and your mother a handshake
''Pleasure to meet you, miss'' You mother said
''Oh, please, call me Hange'' She said as she winked at your mom
''You may sit'' She said as she sat down on her big, black, leather chair
''So, Y/N, how has it been?'' Hange asked as the woman brought her a pile of documents
''It's been okay. I have been involved in a lot of hate because people call me a spoiled brat and stuff'' You said
''Y/N'' She said as she placed her hand on top of yours
''Please relax. I'm your friend! If anything you should be worried about my boss, not me'' She said as she let go of your hand
''Oh, okay'' You said as you smiled at the brunette
''So...here is our offering. I guess you should read it and then we can discuss the details. My boss is ready to go lower on the working hours if you would like but he's not the most understanding person. He likes consistency'' Hange said as you and your mother read the contracts
''It's perfect'' You said looking at your mom and Hange
''Are you sure, Y/N?'' Hange asked
''Yes, it's perfect. Just like I wanted! The perfect amount of work hours and....everything is perfect'' You said as your eyes lit up
''If I may ask, who made this contract?'' Your mom asked
''Well me and my boss did. But mostly my boss. He actually has heard a lot about you, Y/N. He's really impressed by your carrier as both an actress and a singer'' She said as she gave you a genuine smile
''Another question, shouldn't we meet the boss as well? I mean if we will be working under him-''
''He's at a meeting with Eren Yeager, I'm sure you know him,'' Hange said
''Wait, so is it like a battle between me and Eren?'' You asked
''Hahaha, no. This is not like that. See here, we can have hundreds of celebrities working under us. We are interested in both of you. My boss is not a fan of this kid but he still will give him a chance'' Hange said
''So if we sign this then I work under the Ackerman's firm?'' You asked
''Yes, Y/N. When you sign this, you work under us. You work closely with me, my boss, and another guy but that's besides the point. If you sign this today, you start working tomorrow'' She said
You looked at your mom and she looked at you. She bopped her head in a 'yes' manner and you signed it. As you put the pen down, you saw Hange with the biggest smile on her face
''Ahhhh'' She said as she jumped up from her chair and pulled you into a tight hug
''I'M SO HAPPY YOU AGREED, Y/N!'' She said as she hugged you even tighter

''Sorry to say but you have quite the past. I mean you definitely know your way around the gossip media'' I said looking into his green eyes
''Sir, I know but I promise I will be a great fit'' Eren said
If there is something that Levi hates more than a mess those are people who are full of themselves. Like Eren right here. He thinks he is the best but Levi didn't see him as more than a spoiled brat who acts like he was 14. But Hange really wanted him and Levi did have a soft spot for Hange.
''Okay, whatever, just sign it and get out of here'' I said as I took a sip from my tea

I stepped out of my office and saw Hange, Y/N, and her mother walking. I kept my distance but I almost fainted. She looked stunning. I mean no word could ever describe how beautiful Y/N is.
Her beautiful (H/C) colored hair. Her shining (E/C) eyes and there she is.
Hange hugged her and her mother and they headed out. Even though I saw Y/N for a split second I still felt butterflies in my stomach. She was more than a woman.
