Damn I slept good I thought as I stretched my arms.
I was getting out the bed to go to the bathroom until I felt an arm pull me back in.
"Where you going" Mugga said in a sleepy voice.
"To the bathroom to get ready" I said turning to face him.
"But if you get out the bed I'm not gon be able to sleep Naysia." He said with his eyes still closed.
He ain't lying. If I'm not in the bed he really not gon sleep. I feel bad cause he really be having trouble.
"Come on 30 minutes" I said getting back comfortable in the bed.
I turned on the tv and looked at spongebob. I played in his hair while he went back to sleep.
*1 hour later*
I didn't even realize I feel asleep and Mugga ass looking at me.
"Why you didn't wake me up?" I asked him looking down at him.
"Cause I didn't want to" he said kissing my neck.
"You better be glad I don't have class today" I said moving past him getting out the bed.
"Where you going?" He asked following me into the bathroom.
"To take Sweets to see Kaino" I said grabbing my washcloth.
"Oh well let me get my shit together" he said grabbing his tooth brush
"Nuh uh cause y'all don't do right. I ain't got time for y'all shit today."
"If Sweets there ima do right" he said grabbing my waist.
"Talking nice not gon work" I said brushing my teeth.
"It worked last night" he said grinning.
"But didnt I put yo ass to sleep talking bout some don't get out the bed" I said looking back at him

I got Sweets up and we took a bath. We did our lil routine and I got her dressed then me.
"We finna go baby" I said talking to Mugga.
"Ok call me when you leave I gotta handle business."
"Ok" I said sounding a little sad. I know he do what he gotta do and I'm not mad I just hate it sometimes.
"I love y'all" he said kissing sweets on the cheek then me.
"I love you too we both said in unison.
*later*
We got to Kaino's and I knocked on the door holding Sweets in my arms.
He opened the door and I saw his eyes light up.
"NICARI" he said grabbing her out of my arms.
I tried to explain it to her last night and on the way here what was going on.
"What's your name" she said smiling.
His smile disappeared.

"I'm daddy." I said looking at her face.
I was taking in her features. She looked like her momma but she still had some of my features.
She looked back at Naysia confused.
"Come in the house" I said before closing the door
Quincy (Mugga)
"Zero a bitch anyways" I said to Chino after he told me what was going on.
We was getting ready for a meeting cause we know they want war.
"You trust Kaino" I asked looking at Chino
"Hell nah but we ain't gon kill him"

I looked at Kaino stare at Nicari and I know I made the right decision.
"Thankyou" he said now looking at me
"For what?"
"Letting me see her" he said
"This is your baby too and plus you deserve to be in her life. I can't keep can't taking my anger out on you. It's time to move forward." I said finally feeling a relief
I can't lie and say I ain't miss him. The way everything happened just hurt me so bad. I still to this day don't know what happened. I had this picture perfect family in my head and Sweets don't even know him. He was my first everything.
"Thankyou Naysia", he said hugging me. As long as I been knowing Kaino, I knew this was a genuine hug.
"Nicari how you gon go in somebody Oreos", I said looking at her trying to open the pack.
"I thought you said he was nice Mommy", she said still trying to looking at me with those big eyes
"She good leave her alone" Kaino said opening the Oreos for Nicari smiling hard
"Thankyou" Nicari said eating the Oreos turning her direction towards the tv
Kaino didn't say anything back. He just looked at her in awe. He watched Nicari and I watched him. I felt my heart flutter. This is what it was supposed to been like.
"Why you crying?" Kaino asked looking at me.
"Damn my bad" I said wiping my tears, "I just- I ju-"
"I know Coco....Im sorry....on every fucking thing I'm sorry." He said bringing me in for a hug.
I stayed hugging Kaino for a minute then pulled back and wiped my face. Luckily Sweets was still looking at the tv, I ain't want her to think nothing was wrong. But me and Kaino gon have to talk.
Quincy (Mugga)
I kept my eyes on the building waiting for any type of action. The car was quiet as fuck as we watched Zero spot. Him and them niggas wasn't gon be among the living much longer.
"I think we done seen all we needed to see" Chino said looking over at me.
"Hell yeah. Then bitches ain't even gon see the shit coming" I said as Kaino pulled out the cut.
"But aye nigga how u figured this shit out anyway", I said looking down at my phone.
"I got word"
"Really nigga" I said looking over at him.
"Kaino"
"It's always that motherfucker." I said throwing my hands in the air. "I wouldn't trust shit his trifling ass say. We need to take that nigga out wit the rest." I said looking out the window.
"Nigga my niece his daughter"
"Nawl nigga that's my daughter"
"Yall gon have to work all this shit out man" Kaino said
"You my nigga.... What the fuck you think gon happen with this shit man" I asked lighting a blunt
"With what two daddies nigga. I don't fucking know y'all gon have to ask Maury bout all that sh-"
"No nigga I'm talking bout Kaino bringing his ass back. Ion like him round my baby and ain't this nigga a opp or some shit. If it wasn't for a fucked up ass leg that nigga woulda died his first day out."
"Nigga we gon have to save that shit for a different time we here" Chino said pulling up at the connect.
I grabbed my Glock from under my seat and tucked it down in my pants before I got out the car.
"Let's make some fucking money" Chino said getting out the drivers seat.

"I think we about to head out. She got school in the morning." I said to Kaino
"No mommy I'm not ready to go." Sweets said looking at me yawning
"It's okay you gon be back real real soon" Kaino said looking at Sweets then at me.
"Yeah real soon" I said nodding my head
I liked how today went.
"Can I get a hug" Kaino asked Sweets
"Yeah" she said in her happy little voice
Kaino picked her up and held her like he didn't want to ever let her go.
"Ima put her in the car" Kaino said opening the front door.
Once we got outside and buckled Sweets in I was about to get in the car.
"Hold on Naysia" Kaino said grabbing my arm.
"Wassup" I said closing the car door.

"Wassup" Naysia said getting back out the car.
"I just wanted to tell you I missed you" I said looking her in the eyes
"Kaino you ain't write..you ain't call...nothing"
"You right and I'm sorry. But I did write you once. I had something important to tell you."
"I never got a letter where you sent it" she said looking confused
"The old house. When you ain't respond I got in touch with Kaino. He said he gave you the letter and you just ain't write back."
I saw an angry look appear on her face.
"Kaino never gave me shit. I'm finna go find his ass right now.
So she don't even know I thought to myself.
I felt my phone buzzing and looked down
