Monday morning, you had been in the kitchen to prepare the breakfast for you and (Y/D/N), your 5-year-old daughter. She had requested you to make Belgian waffle with maple syrup. And as you knew that it was her favourite, you did it as she asked.

That day would be a busy day for you as you had to drive her to school before 8.30 and then you should also drove to Zurich to pick Seb up from the airport. He had just finished his first race with Aston Martin on the previous day in Bahrain. It was a race to forget, for sure, and you expected that he would be a little silent as he used to be whenever the race didn't go his way.

As you had served the waffles on plates, you put those on the dining table and then looked for (Y/D/N) at the living room. You smiled when you found her reading a book. "(Y/D/N), the waffle is ready!"

"Wait a minute, Mama!" she replied. Her eyes were still focusing on her book.

You bowed down as you wanted to know which book she was currently reading. "What are you reading, baby?"

"It's Tough Chicks, Mama. Penny, Polly, and Molly," she mentioned the characters in the story.

It was a beautiful story book for children. The story was about three chicks who were tough since they hatched from their eggs. All the other animals and even the farmer told Mama Hen, the chicks' mother, to make her chicks good. But she insisted that they were all good. The moral of the story was that parents' love was unconditional and they would always stand up for their children.

Thinking about that story suddenly made you remember that you hadn't cleaned the coop and fed the chickens that your little family owned. Seb was gonna be mad if you totally forgot to do that. You decided to feed them after you and your daughter had your breakfast.

"Sweetheart, what if we eat our waffles now? And then, you can help me to feed the babies," you said. Your daughter used to call them 'babies', and it always made you and Seb chuckle.

"Yes!" She quickly closed her book and left it on the carpet. Then, she took your hand as you both walked to the dining room.

You and your daughter started having your breakfast. She happily ate her favourite waffle. And you were so proud that she could eat by herself. Right after you both finished, you collected the plates and glasses.

After you washed the dishes, you brought your daughter to the backyard where you and Seb raised your chickens. As you expected, there were so many dirt and feathers that were needed to be cleaned out.

"(Y/D/N), can you please wait for me? I need to clean the coop first," you told her.

"Sure, Mama."

You started shoveling and scraping the dirt and feathers out with using a garden hoe. You giggled when she groaned as she smelled the chickens' poop.

You needed to clean it as quickly as possible as you still had to prepare the food and water for the chickens. You made sure that there was nothing left and you sighed a relief when it was perfectly clean.

The next thing you did was filling a bucket with water for the chickens to drink. And then, you finally brought (Y/D/N) to the coop as it was time to feed the chickens.

"Mama, what do the chickens eat?" she asked.

"They usually eat corn, peas, wheat, or something like that," you explained when you and your daughter were filling the feeders.

"Why don't they eat pizza?"

You were about to burst in laughter, but remembering that she was just an innocent 5-year old girl, you tried to hold it and gave her a simple answer.

"(Y/D/N), pizza is only for us, for human. They don't eat pizza. You should know that they love corn so much."

"Okay, Mama."

When you had ensured that the feeders had been topped up, you brought your daughter back to your house to wash your hands.

Then, you led her to her bedroom as she needed to change her clothes and prepared to go to school. As she was always being so excited, she said to you that she wanted to tell her friends that she had fed the chickens at her house.

You turned the engine off after you parked your Aston Martin DBX car. When you checked your watch, you believed that the plane had landed. You thought that Seb was probably picking up his bags.

About 10 minutes later, you saw Seb through the rear view mirror. You were still sitting on the driver's seat. Without you knowing, Seb opened the driver's door.

"I drive," Seb said before he grinned at you. It was only two words, but you fully understood what that meant. He always preferred to be the driver than the passenger.

When you got out from the car, Seb quickly got in, then you moved to the passenger's seat. "Seb, why don't you let me to drive? You must be tired."

"No, (Y/N). It's not a long trip though," Seb replied while fastening the seat belt. "By the way, how is this beautiful lady?"

"I'm great. What about you? I'm so sorry for you about the race yesterday."

Seb turned the engine on and started driving the car. He shook his head slowly. "No need to say sorry. It happened and we should move on. I admit that there's still a lot of things that I have to learn about my car. But believe me that we are getting there."

"That's a great spirit, Seb!" you praised him.

"It's because you always remind me to only see the positive side instead of the negative one. I should thank you for that."

Your heart warmed when you knew that you had a big part on him having a positive mindset. You had promised yourself that you should be the first person to cheer him up when he was down and motivate him when he felt that he lost his confidence.

It took around an hour to get to your house. When you both arrived, Seb brought his bags and quickly came into your bedroom. He insisted that he should take a shower first before he could hug and kiss you. While, you were in the kitchen to prepare a glass of apple juice for him.

"My lady," Seb snaked his arms around your waist from behind, which made you startled. Then, he made you turn around to look at him and started kissing you lovingly.

After a few moments, both of you pulled away from each other and smiled. "I've prepared this for you," you said while giving him the apple juice.

He took it from you and drank it. "Thanks."

"This morning, (Y/D/N) helped me to feed the chickens," you told him.

"Ah really?" He was suddenly excited to talk about his chickens. "It's great. I know that she will like them."

"Yeah, but she couldn't cope with the smell when I was cleaning the coop."

Both of you laughed. "I should thank you for taking care of them while I was away. Now I'm gonna pay them a visit. Wanna come with me?"

You nodded. "Sure."

Seb took your hand and walked together to the backyard. When you both approached the coop, you saw two of the chickens running and the other two playing on the chicken swings that Seb hung there to entertain them.

"(Y/N), I have some questions for you and you have to answer it."

You frowned as you didn't know whether he wanted to give you some serious questions or not. "What's that?"

"First, what do you get when you cross a chicken and a four-leaf clover?"

You shrugged. "I... I don't know."

"The Cluck of the Irish!" he said before he laughed.

"That's the Luck of the Irish, Seb!" you corrected him, but it made him laugh even louder.

"I have more! What do chickens call school test?"

"What do chickens have to do with school tests? That's the question, Seb," you said, and it made him laugh again.

"Come on! Just answer my question."

You raised both of your hands. "I give up."

"Eggs-aminations," he answered before he showed his smug face.

"I swear, this man," you mumbled.

But then, both of you laughed. You thought that he would arrive home being moody after a chaotic race for him. But you were wrong. He was still as happy as he used to be and you didn't regret to say yes when he requested to raise some chickens at your house.
