"Wake up, it's Christmas", James yelled jumping on my bed.
I groaned, I had slept in my old room in the Potter Manor.
"Shut up", I said shoving my face back into the pillow.
"I guess Tero will never change, always waking up late in the morning", James said sitting his fat ass on me.
"Umph, get off me, you're heavy", I said trying to shove him off.
"If you wake up then I will get off", James said annoyingly in my ear.
"How am I supposed to get up when you're sitting on me", I yelled.
I tried to get up but then another body jumped on me. Geez, I think I am going to die today if another person jumps on me.
"WAKE UP", Annabeth yelled, I guess she was the other person that jumped on me.
"Okay, okay, I'm getting up", I yelled.
After I finally woke up I saw presents on the foot of my bed. I got a flashback of when James and I were 4 and we would race downstairs with our presents. Then we would count our presents to see how got more but we both just got equal amounts either way.
"Race ya", I yelled at James snatching all my presents from my bed and running down the dozen flight of stairs.
I ended up winning, demigod training is a great perk. I stuck my tongue out at James who slipped down the stairs landing on his face.
"That's not fair", James yelled.
"James what did I say about running in the house, see this is what happens", mom scolded.
"But Tero-", James started.
Mom cut him off, "No buts, we finally found Aster, the last time we saw her was 10 years ago, so my favorite child gets a free pass".
James got all jealous when mom said that I was her favorite child.
"I'm kidding I love you both equally but Aster still gets a free pass", mom said right after.
"Is this what is like to have a family", Thalia whispered, Thalia went through so much before camp, her mother was always drunk, Thalia had a brother but I never pressured her to tell me anything about him, all I k ow is that his name was Jason and he died when he was 2.
I went and hugged Thalia, "We will always be your family, you have Annabeth and me, and don't forget seaweed brain and the rest of camp and also the hunters".
"Thank you sis and Wise girl", Thalia said.
Everyone looked like they wanted to ask something but held themselves back. I smirked at James and started counting my presents, I finished before him and it seemed like we both got the same amount, humph, I stole a few of James's presents when he wasn't looking.
"That's cheating you stole Prong's presents", Sirius yelled smirking at me, what is it with their stupid nicknames for each other, I would get it since James turns into a stag but do the rest of the Marauders know to and why do they have weird nicknames too?
"I don't know what you are talking about", I said smiling innocently.
Mom started crying, "Monty look at them, it'd just like nothing has changed since they were 5".
James and I looked at each other and had a mental conversation and then we ran to mom and gave her a huge bear hug.
"Oh my gods, this is so cute", Anna yelled.
I groaned, Annabeth way to ruin the moment, one day I will ruin the time Percy proposes to you.
Mom wiped away her tears, "Let's open presents".
James gave me an evil smirk, "I bet I can open all my presents before you".
I shrugged, "Go ahead I'd rather spend my time opening my presents taking my precious little time so then you would want more presents watching me open mine".
"Okay, can we just open the presents, I wanna see if Mia got me what I wanted", dad said giving a suggestive look to mom.
"Ew, Monty I didn't", Mia said grossed out.
Dad started pouting like a child and throw a tantrum, "But I want it now".
Mom rolled her eyes and slapped him on the back of his head ignoring him completely.
"Padfoot, I love you so much, I could kiss you right now", James yelled holding up some hair products.
"I get why you need hair products, your hair is a mess", Annie said disapprovingly.
Thalia rolled her eyes at that, "Speak for your own boyfriend, Percy is the most annoying person on Earth and his hair is always a mess".
"Thats not true", Anna defended.
They continued there bicking until I throw them the presents I got for them.
Annie opened hers excitedly, "What is this". Annabeth was holding a book from the wizarding world called, Hogwarts: A History by Bathilda Bagshot, I had Minnie translate it to Ancient Greek.
"Annie and books go together", I said.
"Finally I can learn more about his Hoggy school of yours and those annoying witchy friends", Anna yelled louadly.
Everyone chuckled.
Thalia opened hers, I had gotten her a bow and arrow bracelet, it could be turned into the weapon but I had a matching one too.
"Aw, thank you Aster", Thalia said hugging me.
Annabeth had gotten me a book about Egyptian Mythology, wow, books going back and forth. Thalia got me a necklace with a Zeus coin on it, I have always wanted something like this.
"Aw thanks, Annie and Thalia", I said queezing them in a hug.
I got James a book called A Guided To The Girl You Have Been Pinning Over For A Century. Forgive me Lily for doing but James is so annoying.
James opened it and glared at me, "Really, I can get a girl just fine".
Sirius and Remus looked at the book and Sirius said, "Mate, you really must not have a way with girls if your sister is giving you at book".
"Prongs you are desperate for Lily", Remus said patting his shoulder.
Mom spoke up to James, "I think you should learn something from their and use it".
James pouted and handed me my present nervously, "Its something I found of us when we were younger".
It turned out to be a moving picture of James and I when we were young drinking out of our milk bottles.
Mom gasped, "Monty do you rember that, right after we took the picture Aster had smacked the bottle out of James's hand".
"That's my daughter", Dad said.
I giggled.
"Hey I could've starved to death", James yelled dramatically.
I shrugged, "Skmething tells me I would still smack your food away from you".
James tackled me to thw ground tickling me. I'm not a ticklish person but James is me brother and he knows where I am ticklish, my stomach, yes and maybe my feet too but nobody needs to know that.
"Ah...s-stop it...oh my...gods...James...", I said gasping for breath and then I heard a flash of the camera, it was mom holding a camera.
James got off me to check the picture to see if his hair was alright. I rolled my eyes, why do I have an idiot as my twin brother.
"Look what Silena got us", Thalia said opening mine and Annie's presents from Silena too.
It was 3 mayching braclets, Silena said that they light up when the other is near. Why would we need them right now, yeah they could help know if the other was there but there was something fishy about them.
"Silena said to put this switch once we put them on", Anna said.
"I don't know, it seems a bit fishy how Silena left without a good explanation to go away for the holidays and we are going to be in different counties so why do we need to k ow if the other person is near", I said feeling something off about Silena for a long time.
Annabeth and Thalia cought on to what I was saying, "Maybe but she is our friend so lets just enjoy it, you are probably being paranoid".
I huffed and opened the last of my presents, Remmy got me chocolates, yum, and well Peter got me chocolates too so okay more chocolate for me. Sally and Percy had sent me more blue cookies.
There was a huge, large thin wrapped present waiting, I stared at it, it was from mom and dad, when did they get the time to get me this.
"Whoa", I said as I opened the present, it was a giant painting of an angel looking women.
"Wow, it's beautiful, thank you mom and dad", I said amazed.
"We wanted to give to to you for Christmas before you ran away but I'm glad we still can", dad said.
"Asterope", that's the same mystical voice from the day the Whomping Willow branch went through me said.
I was too scared to say anything.
"Remember me, I can easily talk to you now, seeing I did spendy time here", she drawled.
"Who are you, leave me alone", I said out loud.
"Aster what are you talking about", Thalia said breaking me out of my trance.
"Uh um...I was just thinking about Luke", I said.
Annabeth and Thalia didn't believe me but let it go for now. The others were oblivious of what had just took place.
I looked at Sirius and he looked a bit disappointed staring at something. I follwed his gaze and saw him looking at another smal box, it looked to be my last Christmas present.
I opened it quietly, it was a golden shaped locket, pendant in the shape of a heart with angel wings. What is it with this whole angel problem, first my Christmas dress was a literal angel, then the angel painting, and now this, not that I am complaining. I looked at it surprised, Sirius giving me a heart locket, oh my gods.
I opened the locket and I wasn't ready yo see what was inside. It was a moving picture of Sirius and I kissing. Most specifically the kiss we shared under the mistletoe.
I gasped at it, that was when hell broke loose.
