Life can be funny and confusing sometimes. It may throw you for a loop, but you have to be prepared for the unexpected. It just might lead you to something incredible that was there all along, but you never opened your eyes long enough to see it for what it truly is.

I smiled warmly at them all, especially my parents. They were the ones I grew up watching and learned from that family isn't always about blood. It's about the ones that are there to help you weather your own storms you're struggling with when they could turn a blind eye and leave you behind to fend for yourself. The real ones will stay by your side no matter what, and there will never be a moment in time where you never have each other's backs.
If my parents didn't find the family they did a long time ago, then I would have never met Phoenix and Jackson or Luke, Mia, and Lily. I would have lived a life without the most important people ever to walk the earth...a life where they didn't exist. So really, the ones I have to thank from the bottom of my heart every single day are them because, without a Wolfie and Mama Wolf, there would be no us, and that'd be a very, very sad world.
