An overwhelming sea of despair washes over me.
Tears spill from my eyes and fall to the Earth.
The ground I walk on splits and cracks.
The world is ending.
Existential despair thrives through out me, tormenting me.
The portrait of emptiness.
The final battle of words, pleading, groveling comes to a close.
I have lost.
My heart shatters into a million pieces.
A hole that cannot be filled, nor repaired.
An emptiness that lingers.
No amount of stubberness or determination can drive it away.
That vacant feeling.
The feeling of change.
Change is daunting.
Change is intimidating.
Change is empowering.
