I sat in silence, wallowing in despair.

Leave him alone for a while, maybe he just needs to be alone.

The elevator doors open up and I am presented with the same cold, dark, and musty basement I had set foot in before.

"Harvey?"

I whispered aloud.

No response.

I walked down to the lockers and peered through the slits.

My heartbeat sped up when I locked eyes with someone inside.

I gasped and stepped back.

"H-hello?"

I said nervously, pressing my hand to the locker.

No response. They were probably too scared to respond.

I opened the locker a bit, and a boy about my age stepped out.

"Your clothes are filthy! What happened to you!?"

I said, shocked.

"I was playing with my sister, when this boy named Jimmy wanted her to follow him. A few minutes later, Jimmy came back to me and said my sister was locked in the basement. I went down to the basement, but I couldn't find her. I was then pushed into this locker and he had locked me in and I couldn't get out. I knew I should've never trusted Jimmy"

He dusted his clothes off and adjusted his cloudy glasses.

"What's your name?"

I said, curious about this poor soul.

"Aaron. Aaron Bell"

Wait. Bell? I just have to know one thing. . .

"Is your sister by any chance Amy Bell? Little 10 year old girl?"

I said.

His eyes lit up and said,

"Yes!! You know her?! Where is she!? Is she okay!?"

I frowned.

"No. She's umm. . .not okay"

Aaron frowned.

"Oh. Well, where is she now?"

I winced and said,

"Well I first saw her down here, but I last saw her laying dead at the bottom of the stairwell"

Aaron gasped.

"What!? How did that happen?!"

Aaron started to tear up.

I told Aaron what Jimmy had done to poor Amy. Giving her the alcohol and cutting her hand off.

Aaron was devastated.

"How can I talk to her? If she really is a ghost now."

He was crying. I felt horrible.

I put my hand on his shoulder to reassure him.

"I saw a ghost box in the First Floor storage room. You should be able to talk to her with that. Once you find it, come back to the basement to talk to her."

He smiled once again.

"Thank you so much! What's your name? I never got it."

I smiled.

"It's Y/n. It was nice to meet you, Aaron"

He waved as he went off into the elevator.

"Oh and Aaron?"

He peeked his head out from the elevator doors.

"Yeah?"

I frowned, my gut twisting in worry.

"Don't be seen by a man in red suspenders and a dark green bowtie, okay? He isn't nice to newcomers"

He nodded and the elevator went up.

I closed the locker behind me and turned around to go back, but Harvey appeared.

"Ha ha! You can stay in there for the night Jimmy! I've had enough!"

Harvey walked into the elevator and it closed.

"Wait! Harvey!"

I went to the elevator and called the lift.

It came and I went up to the Ground Floor.

Jimmy was still in his office. I could hear him mumbling.

Harvey was leaning up against the wall, waiting for me to arrive.

"Hey, Harvey?"

He lifted his head.

"Oh. Hello. What's going on with you?"

I chuckled nervously.

"Ehh. Nothing much. I saw you locking Jimmy in the basement. Why did you do that?"

He scoffed.

"I had enough of his antics. I locked him down there as a punishment for the deadly game of Prank Wars we were playing. I honestly didn't think he could do any damage down there. I was wrong."

We sat in silence as I tried to recall all of the items I had found throughout the floors.

"Hey, did he by any chance set something on fire down there?"

Harvey nodded.

"Yeah! Nobody knew what he wanted. All we knew was that he wanted to get attention, but we didn't know how far he would go to get it."

The lights flickered as Harvey had disappeared from his spot against the wall.

I peered into the back office from afar, still worried about Jimmy.

I went into the elevator and went down into the basement.

The sound of alarms got louder every inch the elevator went down.

The doors opened to an angry Harvey, banging on the metal door. Smoke had filled the area, and I had dropped down to the ground to avoid inhaling the smoke.

"Jimmy! Open the door you stupid idiot! You're going to get yourself killed! Open the door!"

The elevator doors had closed on their own, and the A/C came on to get rid of the smoke.

I coughed and coughed until all of the smoke was out of the elevator.

Once the doors opened again, the smoke was gone and Harvey knelt down and put his hand out for me to take.

I looked up and smiled.

"Thanks, Harvey"

I took it and he smiled back.

"You're welcome"

My smiled had turned into a frown.

"Why was there smoke? Did Jimmy set something on fire?"

He nodded and frowned as well.

"Yes. We lost a lot of stuff in the fire. Letters, photos, even some of the hotels legal papers had been burned. Since then, the hotel can't be sold or repaired. I was furious with Jimmy. I had enough of him. I wanted him gone."

I remembered the hand gun in one of the drawers.

"Oohh! You used the Hand Gun didn't you?"

He nodded.

"I was seeing red. I- I hated him"

He disappeared and I left to go find Harvey once again.

After about an hour of finding Harvey and talking with him, I had gone to the Ground Floor to find his next sighting.

He was walking into the Auditorium and Arcade Room Hallway, but I knew where he was going.

"Harvey?"

I whispered, looking down the hallway, seeing him walk into the Auditorium.

I had a bad feeling.

"Harvey?"

I whispered again, seeing him walk into the Backstage room.

I walked into the back, and prepared for the worst.

"Harvey?"

It was silent.

I turned around and that's when it happened.

Harvey had appeared, and something sharp went into the back of this throat.

"AAAAAUUUUGGGHHH!!!"

He screamed as he pulled the dagger from his neck, a stream of thick, red blood pouring out of his wound.

He fell to the ground and I stood there, traumatized.

My hand went to my mouth and tears begin to form in my eyes.

"No. . ."

I bent down to the deceased Harvey.

"Why. . .would he do this? Why would. . .Jimmy. . .do this?"

I had a hard time breathing.

"I'm gonna. . .pass"

I blacked out before I could finished the sentence.
