I looked up from the bottle to meet Anna's baby blue eyes across the circle of drunk teenagers. I stared at her. She stared back with her eyes wide.
"Well go on then", Miguel nudged my shoulder.
"But they're both girls, she can just spin again", someone slurred.
"Don't be a buzzkill Abby", someone else said.
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!..." , a third voice started cheering.
Hesitantly I moved across the circle and leaned in. My head was buzzing, what was I doing? Surely this wasn't a good idea.
I closed my eyes and our lips touched. Something in my stomach fluttered.
Anna didn't move a muscle.
Then before I could even comprehend what was going on, she had run out of the room.
