razor

She looked in the mirror one last time
This was it
She knew what she needed to do
She smiled at herself in the reflection
Tears falling from her eyes
She looked at the razor next to her
You're a disappointment
You're a nobody
You're a waste of space
Her mother's words cut deep
She drained every last ounce of her happiness
Until there was nothing left
She was such a happy little girl
What happened?
All she wanted was to be happy again
But she knew that would never happen
Not in this world, but maybe in the next
