Few days later
At the office
Tae's POV
I was in my office working.
I decided not to think more about those feelings, concluding that maybe because I am living with a girl
I may have got attracted to her.
But deep down I know this is not attraction, this is something else about which I don't know.
Btw, we suddenly have got so much work in all the departments of our company, because we are preparing for a collaboration
with another big company from U.S
If we are able get this collaboration project,then it would be a huge success for our company.
So I have to work hard.
Infact, everyone has to work hard.
3days later
Y/ntae's 🏠
Y/n's POV
Since we have to get an important project....there is so much going on
in the office.
Taehyung is working really hard and is being super serious.
He even comes home late, super tired.
He even skips his lunch, so I try to make his favorite dishes in dinner.
So that he could have a hearty dinner.
Right now it's 10:30pm,
Taehyung is in the study working.
And I am in the kitchen preparing a
coffee for him.
I took the coffee and walked towards the study.
I entered the study, and taehyung noticed me.
Tae- " You are not sleeping yet, y/n?"
Y/n - "No, I made coffee for you."
He took the coffee mug saying
Tae - " Thank you, but you don't have to do this, you are tired from work too."
Y/n - " No, I am absolutely fine....you tell me if there is something I can help you with?"
Tae - " No, no I'll do this, you can go and sleep."
Y/n - " Are you sure?"
Tae - " Hmm"
He said nodding.
Y/n - " Ok then, I am going.....
don't work too much.
Sleep before midnight."
He just nodded.
Though he nodded but I know he will sleep only when today's work will
finish.
Next day
It was evening and I was again in the kitchen, making some juice for taehyung.
In just these 3-4 days,and I can see him turning pale and having eye bags.
I entered the study room with the juice.
Y/n - " Taehyung, have some juice."
I said keeping the glass on the table.
Tae - " Hmm, thank you."
He said concentrating on his files.
I looked at his face and he looked exhausted and his face seemed quite red, something was off.
I walked towards him and put my hand on his forehead
and gasped.
Tae - " What are you doing?"
Y/n - " Tae, you are burning...you have fever."
Y/n - " Leave this."
I said keeping all the files away.
Tae - " Y/n.."
Y/n - " This is not the way to work tae, if you will drain all your energy here
then who will present the work
in the meeting
Your ghost?"
Tae - " Y/n, I am fine."
Y/n - " Tae, get up, you need rest."
I said dragging him towards the bedroom.
I made him lay down on the bed, checked his temperature
which was 101°F.
Y/n - " Close your eyes and try to sleep."
Saying that I went back to the kitchen.
I came back with a bowl of cold water and a cloth.
I saw him already sleeping, this shows how sleep deprived was he.
I sat beside him putting the cloth soaked with cold water on his forehead.
I did this for an hour.
And then went to the study.
I quickly completed three files and highlighted the important things he needs to see.
It's been five hours since Taehyung is sleeping and currently the time is 12'oclock.
I went to the kitchen to make some porridge for him.
I know that this project is very important and he can't afford to take rest for long,
so I decided to give him medicine after feeding him the porridge.
I went back to the room with porridge and medicine.
Y/n - " Taehyung, get up."
Tae-"................"
Y/n - " Tae!!!"
He slowly opened his eyes.
Tae - " What's the time y/n?"
He asked in his sleepy voice.
Y/n - " It's 12:15am."
Tae - " WHAT?"
He instantly sat up
Y/n - " Tae, relax , it's ok......first have some porridge."
Tae - " No, no I have Soo much work to do ."
He said trying to stand up from the bed.
I pushed him back on the bed and angrily said.
Y/n - " Just shut up ok! First have this porridge."
He quitely sat back like an obedient child having his porridge.
Tae'sPOV
I was so stressed due to the work, but this good sleep help me relax a bit.
I wanted to go and work again but y/n is not letting me.
But honestly seeing her taking care of me and worried for me makes me feel ecstatic.
I can see the cold water bowl with cloth on the side table which shows she was helping to get my fever down.
Those giddy feelings are again back.
Y/n - " Just have the porridge peacefully, then you have to take medicine."
She came closer to me and again touched my forehead, and my cheeks turned red.
She might be thinking it's because of fever but no it's her doing.
Y/n - " You still have some fever."
After completing the porridge, she gave me the medicines and told me to go back to sleep.
Tae - " Y/n, I can't take Soo much rest, I have four files to check."
Y/n - " Don't worry, you just have one file, I have checked three files and highlighted the important things in them."
I looked at her in disbelief.
Tae - " Y/n, you are asking me to take rest, but you yourself is over working"
Y/n - " It's because I can handle it, I am not weak like someone."
She said trying to hide her mischievous smile.
Tae - " Did you just said that I am weak?"
Y/n - " No,I didn't used your name.......now just go to sleep, I also want to sleep."
Next day
Y/n'sPOV
It's the nighttime, and again I somehow made Taehyung go to sleep when he was working on the presentation.
Why am I doing this? Well because I know he is a nice person and I genuinely care for him as my husband.
Now Taehyung is asleep , so I decided to complete his presentation.
I was hesitating in the beginning, thinking that since taehyung has started this presentation, he might have something in mind according to which he planned to make this presentation.
What if the way I do this presentation is not in line with his imagination.
But I still did it thinking he would do some changes if he wants to.
It took me two and half hours, after that I also went to sleep.
