A week later
Y/n's POV
After working for quite a while in fashion department, my work seems a lot easier to me now.......since today my work finished earlier,so I came home early.
I was in my room relaxing when I got a call from Dahyun. I picked up and before I can say anything she spoke.
Dahyun- " Y/n,where are you?". Her voice had an urgency.
Y/n - " I am at home, what happened?"I asked a little tensed.
Dahyun - " I am coming to your place , wait for me, I need your help."
Y/n - " oka-"
She hung up
I was waiting for her near the door,when the bell rang and I immediately opened the door.
Dahyun was standing there and her facial expression was
confused?
nervous?
anxious?
I don't know.
Y/n - " What happened?"
Dahyun - " Let's go to your room first".
We entered our room and sat on the bed facing each other........
and now I can read her expression....
she is scared.....
this made me even more anxious.
Dahyun - " Y/n, for the last 2 weeks, I am not feeling well,
I am feeling nauseous, and
also get tired easily."
She took a deep breath and continued
"Y/n, I think I am -"
Y/n - " PREGNANT?"
I said with an excited voice.
Dahyun - " yeah, but I didn't checked yet."
Y/n - " Why are you not checking?"
Dahyun - " I need moral support,
I can't do that alone.........
I don't want to talk to Jin yet
because it will break his hopes
if it turns out to be negative."
Y/n - " Don't worry, let's buy the test kit ,I 'll be your moral support."
I was still excited.
Dahyun - " Actually ,I have the test kit ."
Y/n - " Then , what are you waiting for...let's do this."
She entered my bathroom and took the test....
then, she called me in, and we were waiting for the result.
Y/n - " I swear Dahyun, I was not even this anxious for my exam results."
She was just quitely waiting...I gave her a hug to relax her .
We saw the result and yes it was positive.....she is pregnant.
Y/n - " OMG, congratulations 🎉🎉🎊
my dahyuniee, you are going to be mom."
I gave her a tight hug but the look on her face doesn't seem happy.
I took her out of the bathroom and made her sit on the bed.
I kneeled before her holding her hands and asked.
Y/n - " What happened? You don't want this child?"
I asked calmly.
She instantly looked at me said
Dahyun - " No, no it's not that ".
Y/n - " Then why are you not happy?"
Dahyun - " It's just that I am scared, it's a huge responsibility,
I am not sure if I 'll be a good mother....
everyone calls me childish and clumsy....
I don't know if I could take care of my child properly."
She said and her tears started flowing, probably pregnancy hormones kicking in,
I wiped her tears and said
Y/n - " You are not childish hyuniee, you are just excited over things,
those people don't know you.......
I know you and
I am sure you'll be an amazing mom"
I can see that she is relaxed now.
Y/n - " Cheer up girl, you are going to give birth to a worldwide cute child you know?"
I joked and she started laughing.
Time skip
Dahyun went back home, she is happy now, she told me not to tell anyone because
she wants to tell this to Jin oppa first on their anniversary which is in few days.
Y/n 's mind - " I have to avoid long conversations with Lisa and Taehyung
otherwise I will blurt out everything in excitement....
it's gonna be hard for me, how will I stop myself from telling such an exciting news to someone."
Tae's POV
I came back home from work, y/n was in the kitchen, she asked me to freshen up and have dinner.
I removed my jacket and entered the bathroom to take a shower🚿.
I was done showering, I wear my clothes in the bathroom only, because I don't want a deja Vu of a week ago incident.
I was about to exit the bathroom when something near the sink, caught my attention.....
I picked it up and it was a................................
pregnancy test kit??
And it was......... positive?
I was shocked as hell.
Tae's mind - " Is y/n pregnant?
Is she cheating on me?
No, no why would she?
but who is the father?
Is it her ex's child?
Why didn't she told me?
Maybe she will tell me later on."
Time skip
2 days later
Tae's cabin
I was sitting in my chair trying to work but I can't concentrate,
I was thinking about y/n.
She still didn't told me anything.
At that night during dinner time,
I tried to have conversation with her but she was cutting me off by cold answers.
She is also behaving weird these days.
She is always on her phone texting and smiling.
Is she planning to abort the child without telling me?
But she is generally happy, she is just being cold to me
And she is not someone who will abort her child happily.
Is she planning to get back with her ex?
There were so many questions in my head.
Tae - " ughhh....I can't work right now...I am going home."
Time skip
I came home, there was no one in the kitchen, I walked upstairs towards the room and I saw y/n sitting on the bed working on her laptop.
Y/n - " Oh! You are back."
I didn't replied anything.
Why would I?
She is being cold to me for past couple of days,
so I can also give an attitude.
I removed my jacket and entered the bathroom with my clothes.
I was done freshening up and I came out of the bathroom.
Y/n - " I already had dinner, you can heat it and have it."
She said looking at the laptop.
I went downstairs , heated my dinner and started having it.
I was still eating my dinner when y/n came out of the room and shouted.
Y/n - " Taehyung, is my phone on the dining table?"
I looked around and it was there.
Tae - " Yes,it is here." I shouted back.
She came running downstairs to collect her phone.
Tae's mind - " This woman is pregnant, and she is running like a 5 year old kid."
I was about to tell her to stop running when she slipped from one of the stairs and fell down.
I immediately stood up
Tae - " Y/N!!"
Y/n - " Owww."
I ran towards her and she was sitting there, holding her ankle.
Tae's mind - " I am so angry at this woman, she is carrying a child and don't know how to take care of herself."
She was trying to stand up, I helped her stand and took her to the room carrying bridal style.
She was about to resist but I glared at her.
I put her on the bed, gave her a pain relieving gel for the ankle which probably got sprained.
Tae - " Y/N , DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO CLIMB DOWN THE STAIRS."
Y/n - " It was an acci-"
Tae - " HOW, IRRESPONSIBLE ARE YOU?"
Y/n - " Taehyung, why are you overreacting?"
I threw her phone on the bed and stomped out of the room to complete my dinner.
Y/n's mind - " what happened to him?
I have never seen him like that.
Maybe he is having some office stress which he released on me...
he didn't seemed to be in a good mood,
when he came back home............
let's not disturb him."
After completing the dinner, I came back to the room and I saw y/n on her phone texting someone.
Tae's mind - " Who the hell is she texting continusly from last two days?
She is pregnant with some other man's child while being my wife and she is not even telling me that."
Tae - " Y/n, what's going on?"
Y/n - " Huh?"
She looked at me confused.
Tae - " Do you have something to tell me?"I asked calmly
She paused for couple of seconds like making a decision and said
Y/n - "No, why?"
I was really pissed right now, I took my duvet and was about to go to guestroom,
when y/n spoke.
Y/n - " Where are you going?"
Tae - " I am going to the guestroom to sleep,I can't sleep here, your phone's light disturbs me."
I said in a cold tone.
Y/n - " It's is not even that bright!"
Tae - " It is." I said firmly.
Y/n - " Okay, I 'll keep the phone away then."
Tae - " No, you don't have to sacrifice for me."
I said sarcastically and left the room.
Y/n's mind - " What's wrong with him? why was he asking such questions?
Did I did something?
I should talk to him tomorrow."
