(We see Chloe and yamper walking until her phone starts ringing)
Chloe: hello? Oh hi there Parker
Parker: Chloe uh listen.
Chloe: yeah?
(Timeskip: at Cerise Park)
Ash: I don't see sobble. Where is it?
Goh: I know it's got to be around here somewhere
Ash: you're right, it's sometimes hard to find.
(Y/N): I know right.
(Suddenly water splashes next to them as something jumped in as yamper's ears detect some noise and runs off and it's revealed to be Chloe)
Chloe: hi yamper. (She looks around unimpressed) there's even more of them now.
Goh: just wait! There's tons more Pokemon in the world and I'm gonna catch them all!
Chloe: (bored, unimpressed and unenthusiastic) oh yay. Hey Goh listen I got a call from Parker and one of his friends seems to be having trouble with something. Can you come with me for a little bit.
Goh: Parker's friend? (Looks at (Y/N) and Ash confused)
Ash: huh?
(Y/N): now I'm intrigued.
(In town the quartet are walking to the destination of the conflict)
Chloe: he said one of his friends has brought her favourite Pokemon along with her but somehow it turned into a big argument of some kind.
Ash: an argument?
(Y/N): what kind of argument?
Chloe: something about whether the Pokemon is cute or not.
Goh: I don't get it.
(Y/N): I don't get it either. All Pokemon are incredible. They also have their own unique charm no matter what species of Pokemon.
Chloe: me neither. That's why I thought maybe you could help them out just a little bit.
Goh: sure! When it comes to Pokemon
Goh/(Y/N)/Ash: we're the go to guys!
(Timeskip)
Boy 1: I told you that Pokemon was strange looking
Girl 1: you're wrong! Feeby is a cute Pokemon!
Girl 2: uh no it isn't.
Girl 3: uh huh.
Girl 1: it is cute!
Chloe: hey Parker.
Parker: hey Chloe. Cool you brought Goh, (Y/N) and Ash too.
Chloe: the friend you told me about. Is that her?
(Look over to see a girl holding a Pokemon)
Parker: yeah her name is Jinny.
(Look to see the Pokemon is a feebas)
Goh: hey that's a-
Ash: feebas!
(Y/N): (star-eyed) so cool!
Rotom dex: feebas, the fish Pokemon, a water type. Called the shabbiest Pokemon in the world feebas tend to school in large numbers at the bottom of rivers that are filled with aquatic plants.
Goh: yeah that makes sense.
Boy 2: come on tell the truth, don't you agree this Pokemon just looks plain weird.
Jinny: well Parker?
Parker: uhhh? It's just...
(Looks at feebas)
Ash: you see I think feebas is awesome.
(Y/N): you darn right it is. You see feebas may travel in large groups but they are incredibly rare to encounter so feebas is special in its own right but there's another factor.
Goh: yeah when feebas evolves they turn into incredible Pokemon.
(Jinny gasps)
Boy 1: (sarcastic) tell us another one.
Boy 2: that can't be true, no way.
Goh: hey it's totally true. Really it's-
Girl 2: so cute!
Girl 3: it's Pikachu and a mudkip.
Boy 2: awesome
Girl 3: it's cuter than that Pokemon.
(Honedge looks upset before floating over to (Y/N))
(Y/N): (to honedge) it's okay buddy you're awesome and cute in your own way. (To the girl) Say sorry to honedge right now!
Girl 3: (scared) I'm sorry!
(Y/N): okay good.
(They continue poking and petting Pikachu until they look at raboot after they hear a sound to see raboot make an intimidating face and the kids run away)
Parker: (sad) poor Jinny.
Ash: it's a shame people don't get how great feebas is.
(Y/N): I'm kinda jealous not gonna lie .
Goh: how would you and feebas like to come to Cerise park. We've got tons of Pokemon there.
Jinny: great!
(At Cerise Park)
(Feebas is put in the water and begins swimming around)
Jinny: Feeby is so happy.
Chloe: so that's it's nickname.
Jinny: don't you think it's a cute nickname for a feebas.
(They're interrupted as feebas comes face to face with the lord of the lake magikarp)
Jinny: oh Feeby!
Goh: don't worry
Ash: looks like they're already buddies.
(They look back to see feebas and magikarp swimming along with golden and finneon along with squirtle to join in and mudkip jumps off (Y/N) like a diving board into the water)
Goh: see what did I tell you.
Jinny: yeah! Feeby made some new friends
Chloe: you take good care of it.
Jinny: right! I got it from my daddy, it's just the cutest thing. But everyone else seems to think it's ugly. (Gasps before speaking to Goh) back there you said Feeby evolves into an amazing Pokemon, right?
Goh: right!
(Y/N): so you want to see a milotic right. (Kneels down in one knee to her height) come on we'll show you.
Jinny: milotic? (She gets gets excited to see it)
(Inside the lab they display feebas)
Cerise: exactly feebas evolves into milotic.
(The screen displays milotic)
Parker: isn't it great and everyone is going to be surprised.
(Jinny nods)
Ren: yeah but it's not easy to evolve it into a milotic. It's going to take awhile.
Parker: really. Are you sure?
Ren: I'm afraid you have no idea-
Chrysa: it might take time but then you'll see it's possible.
Cerise: correct. Put your heart into raising it and make sure you're in sync. Do that and then I'm sure you'll find success.
Jinny: thanks, I'll work hard.
Parker: but the way things are our friends at kindergarten will never see how amazing Feeby is.
Ash: Feeby is an awesome Pokemon.
Goh: we're all quite aware of that.
(Y/N): (sarcastic) I don't know are you really aware of it.
Chrysa: hold on I've got an idea. (Typing on her computer and brings up a poster/image on the screen)
Goh: let's see he friendship festival where water type Pokemon compete in a friendly environment.
Chrysa: the festival is in Slateport city in the Hoenn region. A contest only water type Pokemon can enter.
Ash: I never knew anything like that existed! I want to compete too!
Chrysa: sorry to rain on your parade Ash, it's only for kids a lot younger than you.
Ash: come on no fair!
(Y/N): yeah there should be one for people our age!
Goh: you want to compete too?!
(Y/N): well yeah duh! It gives me a chance to use squirtle, mudkip or finneon. (Realisation) Actually not as much as I think it's more beneficial to help Jinny win hers and show them that Feeby is a Pokemon of many spectacles.
Chrysa: Jinny you can enter the contest
Ren: and if you enter everyone will know how amazing feebas is!
Chloe: wait I don't think it'll be that easy to win.
Jinny: I'm gonna enter!
Ash: Great! We'll help you out so you stand the best chance of winning, I'll cheer like crazy!
Goh: First we'll research everything about the contest and make a plan.
(Y/N): when it's your turn you will be amazing!
(Chloe sighs as her father puts his hand on her shoulder)
Cerise: sometimes it's the effort that counts.
(Chloe thinks about that)
(At Cerise Park)
Jinny: Feeby! (Feebas swims over) do you want to enter a contest with me?
(Feebas splashes around excited)
Ash: so what's this contest all about?
(Goh panicky as he's done no research whatsoever)
Chloe: (off her phone) competitors and Pokemon show how well they swim and move together. I guess they're judged based on how good friends they are.
Goh: okay Jinny why don't you and Feeby practice.
Ash: alright special training!
Goh: yeah!
(Y/N): get excited!
(Pikachu and feebas are facing each other)
Ash: okay Feeby use tackle!
(Feebas uses tackle and hits before it goes back into the water)
Ash: that was really good.
Chloe: Hold on a minute! This contest has nothing to do with battling!
Ash: oh? Sorry.
Goh: Ash thinks of only one thing and that's battling.
(Y/N): (sweat drops) sometimes having a preferred method of raising their isn't always bad but maybe for this situation it's not the best.
Ash: then why don't you tell us your plan?
Goh: thought you'd never ask. Since this is a performance in water, let's start with the basics which means they'll need to swim well together.
(Y/N): seems legitimate.
Ash: what's so hard about that?
Chloe: what's wrong Jinny
(We see Jinny looking nervous)
Jinny: it's just that I don't know how to swim
Ash/Goh/Chloe: whaaaaatt!
(Y/N): makes sense.
Ash/Goh/Chloe: whaaaaat!
(Y/N): come on she's only young. (Sarcastic) What do you expect her to be a champion by the 10. (Serious) besides it's our job to teach her and help her out so she wins this competition. (To Jinny) you hear me we'll stop at nothing to help you out.
(Jinny looks happy before feeling bad again when swimming comes to her mind)
Goh: that could make entering the contest out of the question.
Jinny: but I want to win! I want everyone to see how great Feeby is and how cute Feeby is too.
(Chloe looks at Feebas and back at Jinny before she puts her hand on top of Jinny's head)
Chloe: hey I tell you what. We'll do this together, I'll also help you out.
Jinny: you mean it, thanks Chloe!
Chloe: Feeby we'll need you too. (Feeby splashes about and looks ready) so that's that.
Chloe: (Y/N), Ash and Goh you can help too.
(Y/N): (salutes) Yes s- I mean ma'am!
(Ash and Goh set off to get the thing needed before (Y/N) goes)
(Y/N): (whispers to Chloe) you're good with kids, I bet you'd make a great mother someday.
Chloe: Shut up and go!!!
(Y/N): (scared) sorry! I was only trying to tease you!
(Runs off after the other two)
(Timeskip: a pool with a yamper face on the bottom has been set up)
(Y/N): (salutes) task completed ma'am!
Ash: that should do it!
Goh: okay. What happens next?
Chloe: we'll practice and practice until Jinny Can swim. Goh and Ash you look after Feeby, to win the friendship festival with lots of talent and cuteness. Can you teach Feeby some swimming techniques?
Goh: swimming technique? (Thinks as goldeen swims by) oh hey goldeen can you help out!
Ash: us too!
Goh: we need both of you.
(Y/N): what about me?
Chloe: you will be going between groups. First you'll start out here with Jinny and me and when I tell you to go help out the other two, that's the signal for you to go help them out until I call you back over.
(Y/N): but what am I needed here for?
Chloe: believe it or not but I've noticed Jinny looks up to you since you're a good motivator for her and that's what we need so she stays determined. And we need you over there since you along with finneon specifically will help out a lot too with finneon having lots of grace and finesse. Besides you're a lot better with kids than you realise.
(Y/N): (smiles) thanks and I'll put everything I've got into this!
Chloe: (unimpressed) when don't you.
(Y/N): actually-
Chloe: shut up and stop trying your hardest to counter argue and go get changed.
(Y/N): okay you win.
(Timeskip: they all change into swimwear with (Y/N), Chloe, Jinny and Parker)
Chloe: first let's get you used to the water so you're not scared of it.
(Timeskip: Jinny has her face under the water)
Chloe: (Jinny takes her face out) that's good.
(Y/N): yeah you're amazing. You're learning and doing things well considering it's only your first few tries.
Parker: that's the spirit Jinny! Me next. (He puts his face under the water whilst yamper swims by wearing a rubber ring)
(With Ash and Goh where they've set up poles)
Ash: you think this'll be ok?
Goh: no problem. Alright goldeen let's go!
(Goldeen swims in the water before diving under and jumping out of the water and into the air through a life buoy and whilst in the air goes through a hoop and splashes back into the water)
Goh: Feeby give that a try.
(Feeby ends ups crashing into all the poles, getting stuck into the life buoy and bouncing off the hoop back into the water)
Ash: is this... gonna work?
(Finneon swims over and helps Feeby)
(Next magikarp jumps in the air and does movements and Feeby copies)
Ash: that was some great jumping!
(Y/N): now it's our turn show Feeby a good finishing technique finneon!
(Finneon does a jump in the air like the other two before it falls back into the water before poking its head out and shoots water gun into the air which it does but it breaks up into five smaller bits of water going back down into the water like a fountain)
(Y/N): you have a go.
(Feeby tries and nails the jump but it can't do the water gun part and looks sad as it's failed)
(Y/N): (to Feeby) that's okay. We'll just have to teach you water gun or maybe even water pulse, don't worry you're doing great.
Goh: you're swimming is a lot better too! How's it going Chloe!
Chloe: great. Coming along just fine.
(We see Jinny swimming pretty well)
Jinny: I can't believe I actually swam.
Parker: good for you Jinny.
Chloe: see what I mean.
Ash: yep. so onto the next step.
Goh: do you want to try swimming with Feeby?
Jinny: yeah!
Goh: there. (Puts Feebas in the small pool with Jinny with said Pokemon swimming around her and going up to her)
Ash: Feeby sure does love you a lot Jinny.
Jinny: yeah!
Chloe: now it's time to practice together.
Jinny: yay!
(We see montages of Chloe or (Y/N) watching as Jinny swims with Feebas such as Chloe looking on smiling and has her together as Feeby and Jinny are swimming and another with (Y/N), on the outside of the pool, encouraging her and we see Jinny jumping in the air with Feeby)
Chloe: I think that's enough for one day.
Jinny: right. (To Feeby) wow you worked so hard.
(Feeby hugs up to Jinny as Chloe and (Y/N) notice a multicoloured scale on Feeby)
Chloe: one of it's scales is a different colour.
Jinny: that's right.
Ash: it is.
Jinny: it's pretty.
Chloe: yeah it's beautiful.
Jinny: I know right.
Goh: (teasingly) oh Chloe here I thought you weren't interested in Pokemon.
Chloe: just be quiet. Seeing Jinny work so hard like this, who wouldn't want to cheer her on.
Goh: I really hope she wins this, you know.
Chloe: yeah!
(Y/N): (excited when he sees prism scale) guys this is good news! (They turn to him) this means Feeby is really close to evolving! I'm sure of it!
Jinny: (excited) really!
Parker: are you sure?!
(Y/N): yeah I think I've seen Feebas have one of those scales when it evolves so the fact it has one means Feeby has to be close.
Ash: alright! You hear that Jinny!
Jinny: yeah!
(Y/N): I wouldn't worry or get too excited about it now just give it a little bit of time.
Jinny: okay.
(Y/N): (gives her a head pat) you did amazing out there, I'm so proud of you.
(Jinny looks up and smiles)
(The next day)
Ash: we're here! Soon the real work starts.
(Jinny is holding Feeby and looks nervous)
Chloe: don't worry. Just do everything we've practiced and you'll do just fine.
(Jinny nods)
Jinny: let's do our very best.
Parker: I'll be cheering you on.
Chloe: now where could Goh be?
(Goh throws a pokeball, who is 6 feet from them, and catches a wingull)
Rotom dex: wingull has been registered to your Pokédex.
Goh: yeah I just caught a wingull.
(Y/N): (teasingly) that isn't a silcoon or beautifly Goh.
Goh: shut up!
Chloe: Goh we're waiting!
Goh: I can't just let a chance to catch a Pokemon slip by. You know it's just one more step on the road to my dream.
(Y/N): (serious) or did you forget that this contest for Jinny and Feeby is more important right now!
Chloe: dream?
Goh: exactly! Jinny don't let go your dream of everybody appreciating Feebas. Give it your very best!
(Y/N): (angered) he's straight up ignoring me and using me to give an inspirational speech! (Suddenly is not angry as tears form at his eyes and cell she's his fist to his chest) To make matters worse his inspirational speech makes him sounds so cool!
(Jinny is giggling but nods to Goh)
(In a submarine)
Jessie: sometimes tailing the twerps on a quest to poach Pikachu brings a bonus.
James: a plethora of Pokemon or parade prime for picking.
Jessie: an all you can steal Pokemon buffet.
Meowth: we'll have more kinds of Pokemon than the boss has stooges.
(We see someone swimming with their Corsica and dancing around in the water together)
Announcer: that was Tito and Corsola.
Ash: awesome moves.
Goh: they were perfectly in sync.
Announcer: alright next up is Marin and seaking.
(Seaking jumps out the water with Marin on top and she's flung into the air)
Goh: they might make winning even more difficult.
Chloe: you couldn't be more wrong.
Parker: Jinny and Feeby are perfectly in sync
Ash: that's right, you know how hard they worked.
(Goh looks nervous)
Goh: (intimidated) I-I heard a rumour this is being streamed online, isn't it.
(Y/N): Well of course. You you're brain if they're making posters online and they're smart enough to know people can't attend in person since they may be in another region it would only make sense for it to be online as well.
Chloe: that's why I asked mom for a favour. Together Jinny and Parker's kindergarten friends can watch it together.
(At the house Talia is bringing juice for the kids)
Announcer: n3xt we have Jinny and Feeby the feebas.
(The curtains open as Jinny walks out carrying Feeby)
Announcer: you're up. (Moves out of the way)
Swimmer girl 1: Feeby? You're kidding.
Swimmer girl 2: talk about an ugly Pokemon.
(Y/N): (evil aura) care to repeat that again?
(They turn around feeling such intense stares as they turn to see (Y/N) and Chloe have auras of rage around them as they start sweating a lot)
Parker: Chloe you're scaring people.
Ash: you too (Y/N).
(Y/N): I'll show them scared (points next to them)
(The two girls turn to see honedge with it's sharp blade near their throats as they're now petrified)
(Y/N): come back honedge (honedge floaters over as (Y/N) speaks to the girls) you better be careful with what you say next time.
(The girls nod rapidly and shut up)
Jinny: come on Feeby let's go.
(They jump in the water and are now underneath as Feeby jumps incredible high in the air as the crowd are impressed)
Goh: that was our attention getter move!
Ash: it shows how well feebas trained with magikarp.
(Jinny is waving as Feeby jumps around and swims around fast. Except it looks like a mini whirlpool as Jinny is spinning and waving and giggling in the center of it)
(At the house)
Boy 1: I want to try it.
Girl 2: that looks like fun.
(Jinny is holding onto Feeby as the feebas swims around and both launch into the air together and land back underwater with each other)
Swimmer girl: (amazed) hey now they're like really good!
Goh: they might just pull this thing off.
Parker: Jinny stay calm!
Jinny: ready the big finish. (Feeby nods)
(They get ready but the building explodes)
Goh: who is that?!
Jessie: who is that? Prepare for trouble while we make a big splash
James: and make it double as we angle for cash
Jessie: to protect the world from devastation.
James: to unite all people within our nation
Jessie: to denounce he evils of truth and love
James: to extend our reach to the stars above
Jessie: Jessie
James: and James
Jessie: team rocket blast off at the speed of light
James: surrender now or prepare for a watery fight
Meowth: meowth that's right.
Wobbufett: Wobbu-fett!
Ash: team rocket!
Goh: that's all we need!
Chloe: Jinny
Jessie: on behalf of evil everywhere we claim all these Pokemon for ourselves, Pikachu too of course.
Ash: not while we're here.
Goh: we'll take you on.
(Y/N): facts. The fact you hadn't appeared yet was kinda suss but it all makes sense now!
Boy: piplup! (Piplup gets grabbed)
Girls: Nooo!/starmie noo!
Jessie: (grinning) yours look pretty puny but we'll take them anyway.
Jinny: you can't!
Jessie/James: now come on down!
(Pelipper flies by and drops the machine)
Meowth: alley oop!
(Jumps and does a front flip and lands head first onto the slot)
Jessie: our secret-
James: rocket prize-
Jessie/James: master!
(Two pokeballs come out)
Jessie: the savage Pokemon carvanha!
James: the Pincer Pokemon kingler!
Chloe: Jinny!
Jinny: Chloe help!
(Y/N): right that's it!
Jessie: carvanha use bite!
Ash: Pikachu iron tail!
(The bite and iron tail clash)
James: kingler metal claw!
(Kingler uses metal claw)
Goh: quick raboot dodge it!
(Raboot dodges)
(Y/N): honedge use slash on carvanha!
(Honedge moveset: slash, shadow sneak, aerial ace, night slash)
Jessie: dodge it!
(Y/N): (grinning) it doesn't matter if you miss just keep charging forwards and use it!
(Honedge nods and goes for carvanha who just barely dodges but honedge keeps going forwards and hits meowth with slash before falling back)
James: meowth!
Meowth: owwieee! You twerp why's it got to be always me! Don't answer th-
(Y/N): because it's fun seeing you mad and you deserve it!
Meowth: right that's it!
(Meowth growls in even more frustration whilst Jinny watches on she doesn't see meowth walking over to her)
Meowth: hand it over, squirt.
(Jinny holds on even tighter until Feeby jumps in the air and meowth uses fury swipes on Feeby knocking the feebas on the ground)
Jinny: Feeby!
(The prism scale falls off)
Jinny: your scale, it came off. Feeby! Are you alright!
(Y/N): hang on Jinny I'm coming! Right meowth you're gonna get it now!
(Meanwhile Jinny puts the scale back on Feeby)
Jinny: Feeby!
Meowth: you're in way over your head so I'll take your Pokemon instead.
(Meowth goes to grab her but she covers Feeby and honedge comes in with another slash but meowth blocks it and knocks honedge backwards before he notices that Jinny is blocking him)
Meowth: agghhh! What are you doing get out of the way you're going off the works!
(Feeby begins glowing blue)
Meowth: what's going on!
(Feeby begins growing bigger as everyone, friend or foe alike, is in awe at what's going on)
Meowth: yikes! (Moves out the way by retreating back to the rest of team rocket)
(Feeby's shape changes as it becomes more serpent like and evolves into milotic)
Ash: wow it evolved.
(Y/N): that's what I'm talking about! (Star eyed) it's so cool!
Chloe: beautiful.
Rotom dex: milotic, the tender Pokemon, a water type. Milotic is said to be the most beautiful Pokemon in the world.
Jinny: uh Feeby?
(Milotic nuzzles it's head against Jinny)
Jinny: (happy) Feeby it's you, it's really you! Yay!
Jessie: (star eyed) I must have it! Carvanha use take down!
(Carvanha charges forward whilst milotic picks up Jinny and wraps carvanha up in it's tail)
Ash: that was wrap!
(Milotic throws carvanha up into the air before placing Jinny somewhere safe before hitting carvanha with water gun and sending it over to team rocket unable to battle as the trio of trainers nod to each other)
Ash: now use iron tail!
(Pikachu sends kingler flying over to team rocket after getting hit by iron tail as Goh gets Jinny down and (Y/N) jumps down and joins them)
Jinny: Feeby go for it!
(Milotic sends a whirlpool at team rocket sending them away, submarine included)
Jessie/James/Meowth: we're spinning off again!!!
(They're sent away and the battle is over)
Parker: wow!
Jinny: Feeby! (Leaps into milotic for a hug)
Announcer: we weren't expecting all that trouble but in honour of a fantastic performance , strong friendship and spectacular evolution we present to Jinny and Feeby this special award.
Goh: who knew it'd evolve so quickly.
(Y/N): me actually.
Goh: true. (Takes a photo of milotic)
(Timeskip: back in Kanto)
Jinny: and then it started glowing with a bright light.
Girl 3: amazing I saw it.
Girl 2: Feeby.
Boy 2: I want a feebas too!
Boy 1: I'm really sorry I said your Pokemon was weird.
Ash: good for her.
Goh: yeah.
(Chloe looks on with a smile)
(Y/N): so Chloe what do you think now?
Chloe: Pokemon are incredible, I get it.
(Y/N): (grinning) glad to hear it.
(A/N): sorry for the delay but I've been ill the past few days. My body was overworked as I was helping my mom with packing stuff up for moving and been trying to write as m uh as possible and staying up late so the lack of sleep caught up to me and my body wore down. Again I apologise, I'm really sorry.
(How hypocritical of me I say to someone taking breaks is necessary so you don't overwork yourself and cause burnout and I go and do the exact thing I said to avoid, how idiotic of me)
